Nov 24,2021Warning ⚠️ we used a contractor because we thought Altra Credit Union checked them out and made sure they were licensed to do electrical and air conditioning and heating. And at the time we built our home they did not. I could go on, but just know that we did our homework and got a mortgage with Southside Bank. The contractor is an absolute mess his name is Rob Kizer. And he will tell you one thing and do another!

Nov 16,2021I really dislike having to do all of my paperwork transactions with a teller rather than in an office with a banker. There is no privacy and it holds up the line for people doing simple transactions. I also don't like the constant use of first names. Customers should be addressed as Mame and Sir. A dress code for employees would be nice also as many of them look very unprofessional.

Nov 13,2021I was told by a friend that Altra would help with building my credit score. I inquired at the Tyler, TX branch and asked a lot of questions which were fully answered with understanding and clarity. It has been 7 months and every word they suggested has come to pass exactly like they said it would. My credit score has increased tremendously. Thanks Devonte of the Tyler branch and thanks Altra for hiring such honest, professional people. Your services are exceptional!!!

Nov 12,2021Dave Korger is the bomb.com! Dave Korger has helped me multiple times in the last couple years. Originally we discussed taking out a personal loan to pay off all of my credit card debt. He was able to give me a lower interest rate on the loan than all of my cards were currently offering, so it was a no-brainer for me to do it. He sent the checks directly to the credit card companies so I literally had to do nothing at all regarding the pay off. He was also able to offer me 1% decrease on my current car loan because I was adding another loan to my Altra account. Since then, he has helped me 2 additional times in cases which my vehicle needed repairs and I did not have the savings to be able to comfortably pay for it. He made the entire process incredibly easy. However, what made me enjoy working with him the most, was because he was very personable, understanding and reassuring when we were discussing my current financial situation and the possibility of adding onto my personal loan. In the future, I will continue to seek him out as my loan representative from Altra because of the relationship we have already established. I would recommend Dave Korger, personally, for anyone's loan needs.
