Mar 18,2023I contacted “AmericanOverseas” for help with my tax situation, after having found out that I am considered a U.S. Expact and needed to be filling my taxes to the IRS yearly, which I hadn’t done to that point (dual citizenship). I was simply unaware of my tax obligation, as so many other expacts are probably as well, due to living in an another foreign country. I had a lot of questions, which all couldn’t be answered right away, but they did help find me an U.S. tax consultant, who was also reasonable in pricing terms (options will vary and you will have to choose what fit is best for you). I got lucky and chose the perfect match for me. Overall I am very happy I contacted “AmericanOverseas” and that I got my tax situation solved after all, by a superb accountant. If you don’t know where to start or where to get help from, “AmericanOverseas” is a good first address to start of with. They will help guide you in to the right direction. My contact at “AmericanOverseas” was kind, professional and help was offered in a quick matter. Best of luck to whomever is seeking help and remember to always stay positive. Feb 10,2023Clear and transparent process, helpful communication and guidance and reasonable pricing. What I am missing however is more help for self-help. My upcoming tax statements shouldn't be that complicated to do and submit by myself, but I would need a bit of "beginners' guidance" to do so - paid of course!

Mar 30,2023They referred me to a CPA in NYC that I learned in 2015, the IRS assessed him for $35.4 million for promoting unregistered fraudulent tax shelters. In addition, in 2019, New York federal prosecutors settled a civil complaint against him for arranging more than 100 taxpayers to claim “large phony tax losses”. I am shocked and dismayed at the lack of professionalism by the company with this referral. And when I brought it to their attention, their response was: "We have been working with this US tax accountant for many years to our full satisfaction and the satisfaction of many customers."
