Thank you for making it so easy to get my windscreen chip mended. From beginning to end everything went smoothly. Booking a slot was simple and autoglass kept me informed at every step.
Awful from start to finish. Where to start… autoglass would not offer a mobile service to me, hence I had to travel 20 miles to the nearest autoglass site. After a mere 6 months, the windscreen was finally ready to be fitted, and despite me reminding the autoglass staff at each of the half dosen calls up to that point that the car will need new side trims to be installed with the new windscreen, and autoglass confirming that they had been provided to the facility, I arrived to find that they were not there. And indeed they had never been ordered. The appointment was cancelled so that over the next few months they could be sourced. In the end this required me to find them myself and send the web links to the autoglass office to purchase them. After only 8 months then, I went in for the fitting yesterday. The appointment did not go well, with the technician running out of time (this was his own admission). I knew it was going to be bad as when we were walking up to the car I asked him if it went ok, he responded “it’s as good as I can make it”. Well it was truely awful. The side trims were partially installed and hanging off, the whole windscreen was sitting proud of the roofline, and there was damage to the corner of the bonnet where I watched the technician rest it on the point. To say that I was unhappy is an understatement. Lord knows how long it will take to resolve this, and frankly I don’t know if autoglass ever will. If you have a nice car, I strongly recommend you take it to a trusted specialist near you. This just isn’t a service appropriate for high end cars.

Turned up at the expected time which was good but left without cleaning the replaced windscreens it was so filthy I couldn’t drive without cleaning it first as I couldn’t see through the grime and handprints
Had an extreme case of bad luck when I was driving along one of my usual routes that I know like the back of my hand, when a stone gets kicked up off the roadside by an incoming car which cracks my windscreen, needing a full replacement as the crack would worsen over time. Thankfully, I was able to book in an appointment to get the glass replaced by Autoglass within 2 days. The technician I met at my nearest Autoglass centre was very friendly and helpful, got the whole job done in an hour, with an extra 20 minutes wait time before you can drive the vehicle again, and the repair was seamless. 100% satisfied. And since windscreen repairs are covered by my insurance, you just need to pay the excess to Autoglass, and they can handle the whole claim process on your behalf, without you needing to get in touch with the insurance company. Will definitely recommend them to others.

Avoid the Ipswich branch. I've used them twice in the last year: first time glass trim wasn't adhered properly and the screen had to be taken back out a week later so it could be done properly. This time the trim panel inside the car, covering the camera has been broken (fitting tabs broken so it now hangs loosely) but the fitter fitted it anyway, presumably hoping I wouldn't notice. Really poor, I won't be using this branch again in future
