I broke down on Thursday and was stressed because of the long weekend. I must say I was impressed that a member of Auto Select Warranties booked me into one of their known garages on such short notice on Friday and helped fix my snapped coil spring. Im greatful for this as had plans with the family.

Paid for the most expensive level of cover when purchased car from a dealer, costing around £399 for 6 months cover. Discovered a faulty O2 sensor which is covered under the warranty and the garage charged me around £400 for the part, labour and VAT. Auto select after being unhelpful eventually agreed to pay for the work and I was angry when they sent me £165. When I questioned this they said they found the cheapest quote for an O2 sensor which is what they based their pay out on. They did not tell me this when I first claimed. I told them that the garage only buy genuine parts but he couldn’t care less. The garage also informed me that Auto select called them and asked if they knew why the sensor was faulty, which they did not. Clearly looking for an excuse not to pay out under the wear and tear clause or some other way out. A very frustrating and stressful experience dealing with this company who only care about how to not pay out. DO NOT USE..

Don’t waste your time with this company. Truly terrible and will not pay out on a claim that was even less than £100. Virtually nothing is covered. Extremely poor. Avoid. Update: response is not accurate. The reason they gave me was because that particular part is not covered (surprise surprise)

Not worth the paperwork it's printed on. Bought alongside a sportier car, because it made sense. Cylinder head was included within the package, so when it went five months after purchase, we followed procedure and put in a claim. 3.5k of work rejected, because Cylinder head was "worn" and wear and tear isn't covered. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but how else does a Cylinder head die? Reply is hilarious. Vehicle has all the maintenance paperwork and we had the car 5 months. The garage and the warranty company are completely useless. Further update. Spoke with the garage they claim told them the car was not maintained. Garage state they made no such comments, and agree the warranty is completely useless. They suggested contacting trading standards as we have paid for a service we are not receiving. Which we may well do to claim our money back.

They sold me their gold warrany by saying that anything its gonna hurt your pocket we got you covered.6 months later tried to claim a repair for an intake manifold and the response i got from them was unfortunately this isnt covered by our warranty.I mean if they cant cover an important part of the engine what can they cover.Not only that the person who answered the phone was trying to get rid of me as fast as he could.AVOID.

I purchased my car from a dealership in Manchester (1 series F40 that I have wanted since its release). By February it developed a throttle fault, where I had difficulties getting a full claim…the bulk of the claim and repair works was approved and paid for. Initial conversations with first point of contact wasn’t the best, however all credit and hands down appreciation to Kay from payments who helped in giving me full explanations, amending my repair quote to cover works (investigation/ diagnostics) missed my the team. If not for Kay this would’ve been a poor review however she changed my experience and confidence in dealing with Autoselect Warranties. My car now drives fine with works completed.

Bought a vehicle two weeks ago with the Platinum Warranty. Autoselect inspected the vehicle before we bought it and found no fault... Fast forward two weeks and on inspection it had a leaking shock, play in the drop links and a perished top mount. My local garage quoted 489 for the work which is slightly above their shocking 50 an hour labour rate but I was willing to pick that part up. They contacted me and will only pay 59 of the entire claim which is for the drop links everything else is not covered apparently although it states in their terms they are covered. Absolute shocker car is 2 weeks old and was inspected by them!!!! I will be going to TMO with this as these crooks shouldnt be in business!

1 star is a compliment !! I bought a prestige vehicle for my wife & bought a platinum warranty from this company which was from the dealership it was supposed to cover literally anything… however my wife’s luxury vehicle broke down 7 days into owning it my wife was left without a vehicle/ courtesy car for 3 weeks + not had a single refund to date & this company is still trying to take money from the account for a warranty that wasn’t fit for purpose we have a new born baby & i work all week. I paid for a suppose to be all singing & dancing warranty yet they wouldn’t pay for a genuine part & wanted to fit a euro car part or a re conditioned part to the vehicle. Do not use this warranty company !!

I can only echo and reiterate comments made by others as to the abrupt and poor customer service attitude of Auto Select Warranties Ltd, they approved a claim up to there maximum liability of £300 on there Silver policy and yet they left me with a deficit of £63 to pay out of my own pocket. My own customer experience is not a favourable one, a company not to be trusted so anyone who is being offered a warranty through this company as part of a vehicle forecourt sale or even a motor trader looking for a reputable after sales warranty provider, just simply walk away!

I had an issue with my exhaust about 2 months after receiving my car. The booklet advises that the exhaust system is covered. But my claim was rejected as they do not cover pipes, I asked them multiple times to explain what is covered and what they define as an exhaust system but they never gave me any other answer than that they do not cover pipes. Now I have another issue as the engine is completely dead after 4months. I called again even though I knew I would be wasting my time, I asked for vehicle recovery as per the booklet at the time of claim generation to be told they do not do this or even the vehicle hire as per their own booklet I was told I have to arrange and pay for it to be recovered and diagnosed but they only cover upto one hour for this, the garages I have spoken too have advised they will need the car for a few days.I have now referred the issue to my finance provider as I am not willing to pay out the money that may be required to fix my car to be told by auto select warranties that my claim is rejected

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Absolutely rude staff and customer service, never experienced anything like it. Will quote you cheap parts that garages refuse to fit and will not offer any other solutions. Will refuse certain parts and say they are ‘serviceable’ when they are not. Worst warranty company i have ever dealt with. You have to pay out of pocket to get anything done. Do not purchase

As a transmission and gearbox rebuilding company we deal with many warranty companies on behalf of clients and i can honestly say this company outshines them all for quick response, communication and simplicity to deal with. There staff always respond to our requests very quickly unlike other warranty companies that can take several days and too many emails. Second time using the warranty after I got renewed I had an issue with my water pump. They paid majority of the cost. Very good.
