£100 spent on Barbour boots. Within 6 weeks both had split on the back seam. Took them back with the receipt to be lectured about the traces of mud on the boot! Poor quality for such a high ticket price.

Stood outside the barbour shop in Manchester waiting to exchange a coat. Their policy is 6 people in the store at once due to covid, thats fine . But they have 4 members of staff standing around chatting 🙄 so only 2 customers. Come on barbour see sense.

My wax jacket arrived 30/9 as promised. My last barbour wax jacket lasted me 9 & half years with regular waxing & saw me through Ireland, Israel & India's monsoons. These are the reasons I bought a new one, basically because I didn't want anything BUT a barbour even though now I'm on my pension & disabled.....i saved! I was so excited when the Gibbon arrived that the courier was laughing! It fits perfectly & now i have to see if i can buy a hood for it. IT IS WONDERFUL - thankyou Barbour

I bought a pair of Bede wellies from Barbour feeling confident that they would be good country boots. They were hopeless 😩. The heels wore down and they ripped at the sides and the back within a year of dog walking. My last pair of Hunter wellies lasted 10 years!!! When I complained to customer services I was basically told that I had worn them too much! They should not be fashion items but designed for some hard work in the rain and mud. So sad that this great British brand has gone to pot.

Having paid for next day delivery and waited in to accept delivery I rang customer services to check delivery time at 15:45 following day. I was told the delivery had been missed and would now be dispatched for the following day. Very disappointed my delivery is late, having paid specifically for next day, and that I was not informed until I called them

To cut a long story short I bought some Barbour sandals which fell apart within 5 weeks of purchase. Hoping for a quick resolution (I still had the sales receipt), I contacted customer service and returned the shoes for them to inspect. They’ve acknowledged fault but 6 weeks later customer service have literally just offered me a refund as a ‘goodwill gesture’. The problem is to get it I’ve got to nominate a time for them to call me.. I gave them two windows to call, both now missed. I work full time so calling/receiving calls during work hour is insanely difficult (their customer services are only open office hours). Customer service is slow, convoluted and unhelpful. I was a fan but would expect better customer service from a premium brand. I’d think twice before spending money with them again.

Disgusted with the level of customer service they provide via email. Attitude doesn't take anyone to successful sales and happy customers.

Bought Redhead Chukka Boots from kular Fashion, so they were original. £125 they cost, looked great and felt really comfortable, unfortunately after 2 weeks the entire heel fell away, learned that the stitching was fake from Costumer Service at Barbour, so they are just glued together.

Bought some wellies from them and a year later the heels fell apart. Contacted Barbour who were so helpful and ended up returning to them for inspection and they agreed to give me a replacement pair. Very happy with service and communication received from Caitlin in customer service and would recommend this professional and honest company who clearly respect their customers. Thank you Barbour.

Absolutely shocking service from this company still awaiting my refund after 20 days, on their website it states 5 days, when I telephone I get fobbed off by this company. I will never purchase Barbour again.

Barbour quilted dog coat bought for our Irish Wolfhound (small female wolfhound, 30" at shoulder 36" length back) is the right size but completely useless due to poor design. Chest strap in wrong place for large dog and too narrow to be effective. Nothing to hold the back to the legs (cheaper dog coats for smaller dogs have extra straps or elastics). On a normal day in light rain, not even windy, the coat didn’t stay in place on a short walk unless my husband or I physically held it onto her back. Unfit for purpose. Not the fault of the shop, who sold the correct size but Barbour have been unresponsive when I raised the issue. Trading on their name and volume of sales, cynically disregarding customers' wasted money on useless purchases that have to be replaced from other suppliers. No meaningful response and no refund so far.... Update - after Barbour had been notified by TrustPilot that my review had been posted I received a focussed email response and they advised me to take the coat back to the shop I bought it from to receive a refund. They had spoken with the shop owner (who has been helpful throughout), so I do hope Barbour will recompense him and review their design.

I bought these Barbour Bede wellingtons two days ago. On their first outing yesterday I came home with wet feet and sore heels. As I removed my feet from the boots the Barbour insole was stuck to my socks on both feet by The Barbour label. I had stopped halfway through the walk due to the pain in my heels thinking my socks had fallen down and was surprised to see they were ok. It had been the insoles that had moved and were causing the problem!. These boots may be ok for light walks but not for walking through rain and long grass. I bought these to replace my £17.00 Dunlop Wellington but the Barbour Bede is no more comfortable or waterproof. It is quite incredible for boots to leak on their first outing. Bought from The Barbour shop so not a copy. Very unhappy.

I purchased a Barbour padded summer jacket 2 years ago, only really worn it about 30 times in all, washed as instructed at 30 degrees, now all the padding is breaking up and with it being a gold colour it makes the coat look like it’s got patchy dirty look, I’ve contacted Barbour now waiting for a reply.

I purchased a waterproof Barbour Trevose Jacket that came with a two year “guarantee”. The description on the jacket states waterproof and breathable. The thing is that when it rained the water got in through the “breathable” holes. When I contacted customer services they asked me to return to store even thought the store is shut due to Coronavirus. I asked them to help as the shop was shut and I sent them photographs Of the jacket and purchase receipt and explained what happened. They took two days to respond to say “this is not a manufacturing fault as the holes are part of the design to allow the garment to be breathable” I cannot understand how a waterproof coat can let water in and they can pass this off as part of the design! Please do not purchase from Barbour - use Joules cheaper and better!

Outstanding quality from a loved and trusted brand. Item was immaculately presented in the packaging and everything about it just oozed class, heritage and Britishness. I was even more astounded to receive it less than 48 hours after ordering, even though I hadn't paid for expited delivery. I'll be back for more! (Order number for Barbour's reference COM-UK-225149)

I bought a Babrout Beaufort. The very classical Barbourt Jacket and the second one in my life. I never wear it because I sweat a lot in it. Why do you ask? Because the sleeves are filler with plastic!!! Yes plastic nylon filled!!!! The jacket cost 300£ and is worth 50£ max. It is a shame to see such a notorious brand reduce the quality to that extend. Never ever will I buy Barbour
