Jennifer and others at this company communicate and make sure you’re satisfied with your purchase, give updates on delivery estimates and follow up to make sure everything is working as it should. I would definitely use this company for any other parts I might need for my 2005 Porsche Cayenne.

Mar 10,2023I've used Best Use twice, they have followed up to make sure my product was delivered and the products have always been as advertised. Edited below: In March of 2021 I bought a used engine for my 2006 Outback. The price I paid was competitive for an engine of that mileage (I don't recall exactly but believe 60,000 miles with a one year warranty and although they originally quoted $2100, they reduced that to around $1700). At the time the vehicle had 122,000 miles and now has 147,000 miles and runs well. The only issues have been not surprising valve cover gasket leaks on an older used engine. Throughout the process of purchasing the engine, I was sent an image, asked that I had viewed the engine, and was contacted by Best Use folks at least a dozen times. About one year ago I bought a right rear taillight assembly for about $60 and had numerous follow-ups and pictures from Best Use. The product was delivered as pictured. I have to question why nearly all the reviews are either five star or one star. That does not make sense. I gave them 5* for the follow through as that is what segregates brokers who sell used gear - that and a reasonably honest assessment of the part ordered. As a broker, they undoubtedly have to rely on the folks they get the part from, and can only do reasonable checks (as specified) once the part is in their hands. I note that several of the one star ratings (not every one) was written in the same poor English, making me think the same person wrote several of those reviews. My experience was entirely favorable on my two occasions.

Mar 06,2023Kind of surprised to see any decent reviews on here for this company as its very apparent they knowingly and willfully conduct business in a fraudulent manner. On February 20, 2023, I was looking to purchase an engine for a 2008 VW GTI on bestuseautoparts.com. I was contacted via phone by a sales rep named Suzanne Smith and was informed they had 4 engines in stock in the range of miles I was looking for (30,000-60,000). When I mentioned I wanted the engine with the lower mileage, I was informed "I would be provided pictures of the engine that is the best suited for my vehicle". I then asked how they would authenticate and verify the "best" engine for my vehicle. She stated they test the compression of the engines, check for leaks and provide pictures. I then asked how much tax and shipping would be. She mentioned she could waive the sales tax and shipping. This raise a bit of a suspicions; however, I just took it as a sales rep trying to make a sale. I continued with the purchase, and on February 22nd, I received pictures of the engine with no information of the VIN or compression results. I then requested to see the missing information and was provided an engine compression worksheet. The engine information as provided by the company was supposed to have 52,000 miles(approx) and VIN: WVWFD71K09W071667. As this was in the range I was looking for, I approved the engine for shipment. On February 27, I received an email for Tracking details of what was supposed to be my purchased engine, however the email had information of my engine details, including YRC Freight PRO # 660-357998-8, along with a UPS tracking link. Talk about mistake after mistake. After tracking the PRO # on YRC's website, I discovered that the engine being sent was coming from Teddy's Salvage Yard in Florida, rather than their 'warehouse in Washington'. Kind of funny because this company claims to not deal with salvage yards (check photos for validation). After calling Teddy, he verified that the engine he sent me had 133k miles and a completely different VIN. I'm not sure how a company tries to send an engine to someone with an ENTIRELY incorrect VIN. I'm just glad I caught this scam before the engine arrived to my mechanic, otherwise I would have came across their fake "30% restocking fee". If you have received a part from this company, I'd be extremely surprised if that part, was the actual part you ordered. After discovering all this information I immediately contacted best use auto parts and requested a supervisor. After demanding a refund and information on the engine that I purchased, they insisted on providing a half refund. I immediately declined and requested information on the engine I purchased in addition to a full refund. Only after threating to file a complaint to the BBB, and contacting my credit card companies, I was issued an immediate refund, however they admitted that the information for the engine I purchased, was sent to me by "mistake" and were unable to verify authenticity of any of the documents they provided me or to the shipper. I was also told they'd send me a free engine with 73k miles if I didn't contact the BBB or credit card companies (nice tactic). Several days after stating they'd send me an engine with 73k miles they mentioned there is issues with the engine and they can send a different engine with 92k miles. Since February 27th, I've been told nothing but lies and empty promises. They haven't even been able to send me a VIN, compression results, or pictures for authenticity. I'm writing this review in hopes that someone else doesn't get scammed out of time and money out of this company.

Mar 04,2023From day one I was continually told we have a grade A. ASE certified engines. I hate dealing with out-of-state and Internet deals. I needed a good motor for my sons car because he was going to college. We paid the extra money after talking with best used auto parts and in good faith paid $1500 for a motor. When we received this motor we took the valve cover off and there was no way that this motor had 83,000 miles. We put a new timing belt and water pump in this motor while it was out before we put it in the car. The timing belt that was on the motor when we received it was an aftermarket belt. I immediately contacted best used auto parts and explained that this motor did not have 83,000 miles but maybe 183,000 miles simply because a motor with only 83,000 miles would more than likely still have the original timing belt that has the word Honda on it but the one that was on this motor had the word Napa and it was well worn. I was told over and over that this was a good motor just put it in trust me. So I did this. We developed an issue right away not knowing where the coolant was going couldn’t find it leaking and couldn’t find it leaking on the ground. I contacted again. We found out that it was the head gasket. I contacted best used auto parts and they would not do anything. I had to get a head gasket done on the car just so my son could use the car to go to college. I was ripped off not dealt with fairly they took my money and will not give me a refund on what it cost at least to do the head work. I am very dissatisfied and upset because I was taken advantage of but yet I trusted them in good faith. I am 53 years old and used to doing things on a handshake my problem is that I trust too many people and I got burned.

Feb 28,2023Worst place ever told me I would get a picture of the motor before they sent. Then they send motor that is no good then tell me I have to pay to ship it back and will have to pay 40% restocking fee. The motor was rusted through the oil on the freeze plug rusted out. The block is welded together for God know why.

Feb 21,2023I’ll never buy to this store anymore. First they sent me faulty Engine . They will send me another used engine. But I’ve already pay my mechanic to install the failed engine that I bought from them. It will cost me more. So they just gave me $350 certificate to use it sometime . But there’s a trick . You have to tell them before you buy that you have certificate., either way you have certificate or you don’t there price is same. I just got discounts for $ 50 for the transmission I buying. They told me that they use the coupon already . I’m not very happy with there sales tactic . Never again ..

Feb 10,2023I would not order parts from here. They consistently misled me on shipping dates after I said time was of the essence. The product I had was damaged and no 1 reached out for 10 days to retrieve. Since the damage head was at mechanic shop in was placed in storage. They were supposed to pick up and never did. Today, they called me 7 times in 1 hr after I spoke to them to come pick up the cylinder head. He also threatened me with court action even though I was complying with request. This is a 3rd party so they just order parts from others. Now no one knows anything. I still have part and have been told I will be taken to court as well as action to my credit for a damaged part I tried to return. I have reported this company for bad business practices and filing a complaint about the harrassment.

Dec 30,2022On December 28, 2022, Best used auto parts hired a contractor to pick up junk vehicles at the property adjacent to my house. The tow truck driver drove down private driveway drove through the ditch cole‘s property damage. My wife had a conversation with the driver and he was told not to use our property when he left he did the same thing used our property causing more damage. I contacted Best used auto parts and they are supposedly at this time working to resolve the issue Which it needs to be fixed prior to that conversation, I contacted best use auto parts in Florida. They assured me they are not responsible for the acts of any contractor they use to haul junk cars. I contacted then the tow truck driver, which we have video he is assuring me there’s no property damage which clearly there is and he is also not responsible , hopefully best used auto parts gets this resolved. I am not responsible for fixing somebody else’s damage to my property after they were trespassing.

Oct 19,2022This is the soonest company I have ever dealt with.i had the supposed to be a good motor put in and it was bad.i incurred 1400 dollars in labor which was guaranteed for 4 years parts and labor,unlimited mileage guarantee. And 30 day refund.it took them over 3 weeks to ship my motor.shipped it to the wrong g place and had to stay on them about it.i have tried to call Michael James several times to get my labor money back.all.i ever get is the voice mail and will not return my phone messages or texts.thank God for Mike in Denver Colorado who is refunding my motor price.thatis who they got there engine but he has been excellent wit helping me and also trying g to get in touch with these people but they won't answer the phone for him either.dont buy from these guys especially Micheal James.

Apr 24,2022I purchased a transmission for a 2012 ford focus. The transmission arrived in a timely matter. The transmission was put in by a garage and was determined to be no good. I was worried because I didn’t look at the reviews before I purchased it. My next dealings with the company was with Tom. Tom apologized and offered another transmission or a refund. I opted on another transmission. Tom had it shipped in a timely matter. Ford motor company put the transmission in and it was good. Thank you Tom for all of your help! The reason for 4 stars is because I had labor bill for installation twice.

You pay double for the part. ((Reply to the business, I am not a competitor.)) Give me the address of 2 of your "warehouses" across the country and I will remove this review. All you guys do is go to CAR-PART.COM and buy parts from salvage yards and broker them. YOU SIR, ARE A FRAUD AND A BAD LIAR.
