Just got small part to push chair Stokke with shade which is discontinued. Ladies are so helpful,great communication. It is a scheme that it is my first delivery for 2 years old. Wish to know them eariler. Thanks a lot. Strongly recommended!
I phoned up as I needed help with measurements, the lady was very helpful. The product came promptly and was as described. My only gripe would be £4.95 postage for a small, light item. But otherwise a great experience.

We ordered a new Leander kids bed for our son. Unfortunately it was then delivered to the invoice address instead of the delivery address, which was the store's mistake not ours. Mistake was rectified when I called and item resent promptly. We're very happy with the bed though, it all arrived in good order.
I was very pleased to get a spare strap for my old Trip Trap chair. Born was the only place I could find one. I did, however think the postage was rather high for such a small, light parcel. Thank you for a prompt and easy to use service.

I do not normally like shopping on line but my experience ordering from Born was so good I may use on line more. I felt their service was personal helpful and as good as 'face to face'.... Took me three days of phoning and leaving messages before someone picked up the phone. When they did though it was fine and the item arrived in reasonable time given it was a special order. I'd just suggest that the staff check the answering machine more frequently.

When I ordered online some uppababy accessories, I was told to wait between 4-6 weeks for delivery. 8 weeks later and two unresponded messages later (email and voicemail) I was still waiting. It was only when I managed to get hold of someone in the office to check that my delivery was actioned: they had been waiting on a small item to come in from suppliers. Suggestion: stick to your delivery deadlines for all items, and update customers if there is a problem with one of the items which could impact on other items to be despatched within time.

It took my husband a couple of hours to replace these but having said that, they work better than the original ones ever did!

I've bought quite a few things from Born since having my daughter in June. I've had to take a couple of things back because they were faulty and unfortunately the response to this was really poor for the following reasons - 1) no offer of a refund or replacement. an expectation for me to wait whilst the product was sent back despite being within 28-days 2) The person dealing with my return then lost my details so I ended up waiting for over 3-weeks to be told there was nothing wrong with the item (a breastpump). 3) Having explained to the attendant that the fault lay with the bottle set it appeared that only the mechanical pump was tested. I then had to wait for a replacement bottle set requiring a 3rd trip to the store. Whilst I want to support independent shops if the same thing had happened at John Lewis they'd have replaced the item and followed up with the manufacturer directly rather than keeping me waiting. 4) When i followed up on this return, i'd often speak to different attendants and there were no records kept of my return. I just kept being asked to come back / call back to speak to a specific person. This seems to be quite common and applicable even when making enquiries about stock etc.
