I recently purchased a commercial van insurance through compare the market showing budget as the most competitive quote so I accepted the quote after paying I requested a vat invoice for our company records to be told they do not charge vat and do not issue invoices I have been in business for over 30 years and never dealt with a company that does nor issue invoices and if I want to cancel and go with another insurer they want to charge me £30 So I will not be using compare the market or budget in the future

I am 85 years old have never used an on line insurance search I found the process with budget very easy and straight Ford even for me without much tech knowledge I had a question to ask and their on line chat was really good and my problem was solved easily and I saved money on my previous insurer well done budget
Insured a car on the 10th February but sold the car on the 8th March less than a month later, initially I wasn’t happy with the customer service, however they really did come up trumps in the end. Thank you Ashleigh
this is not a Budget fault, it is an issue with the CUE (Insurers database) that had erroneous information about a claim in 2023 (as confirmed by Direct Line), which then caused a lot of stress sorting out to avoid a doubling of premiums.
