Mar 03,2025Purchased car insurance through Topcashback using a Gocompare link. jumped through every hoop, no ad blockers etc. Expecting £40 cashback, they have refused to pay out. So as far as I am concerned they might as well have taken £40 out of my wallet. I wouldn't trust them.

Mar 02,2025I have been with this company for 1 year , the first year was ok. Upon accepting my renewal for a second year I was removed from my online account. The message about renewing with them for another 12 months had disappeared, this led me to believe it had gone through. On the 2nd of march 25 I received an email informing me that my policy had ended. I called immediately and spoke to a lady , who explained that the renewal hadn't gone through , she then explained to me that I needed to take out a new policy. After going through the process of declining everything that she was trying to up sell , I was then told that the new policy was drastically higher , I had no option but to pay a deposit of £110. I declined the quote which was met with a change of tone and more aggressive approach to speaking to me. I then went on compare the market and to my surprise the cheapest quote was with Budget insurance ( my last provider for my car insurance) I tried to take that policy online , however it told me that I have an existing policy with them already so I couldn't secure it. I then rang the number on the website so I could find out why it said I have an existing policy with them considering 2 hours prior I got an email to say my policy had ended. I was told that I was NOT allowed to take the price online , I could only take the massively overpriced quote I was quoted online. In a nutshell they have stopped me from being able to get a cheaper quote. I have tried to shop around but due Budget insurance still insisting I have a policy with them , no other provider will let me insure my car with them because of this fact. They are holding me to ransom and I strongly suggest you avoid this company AT ALL COSTS
