Recently changed to Budget after my previous company wanted to double my past years premium. Very easy to set up and a very competitive price.
I Got my car insurance from them. They contacted me regarding two claims that were not my fault at all but they put my insurance up anyway and then charged me a £25 admin fee.

I had a terrible experience with Budget Insurance. On 4 March 2025, they voided my motor insurance policy from the start date due to so-called "multiple discrepancies," without giving me any prior warning or opportunity to correct the issue. Instead of working with me, they simply canceled my policy, leaving me uninsured and at risk of legal trouble. Now, my vehicle is listed as uninsured on the Motor Insurance Database (MID), meaning I could face penalties or even have my car seized. On top of that, I now have to declare this voidance when applying for future insurance, which could increase my premiums. The lack of communication, transparency, and customer service is shocking. If there was a problem, why wasn't I contacted beforehand? This is a disgraceful way to treat customers. Avoid Budget Insurance at all costs
