Nov 26,2024We recently found ourselves needing to organise respite care for our parents. We had an idea of what we needed: catering to our parent’s specific care needs, care for a specific date range, and we wanted our parents (who are inseparable) to have a positive experience, including being accommodated together in the same room (just like they are at home). We initially tried the ‘divide and conquer’ approach by each ringing around a number of facilities, but after a week of what felt like phone call after phone call, we were overwhelmed, the clock was ticking, and we were no closer to finding the care we needed for our parents. A single phone-call to Billy and the team at CareAbout literally changed everything for us. Billy thoroughly got to know our needs, through what was a very down to earth and effortless conversation - he was incredibly attentive, thorough, and personable. His professionalism shone through as he patiently explained how respite care works, making the entire process super easy to understand. Within just 24 hours, Billy had put together a shortlist of some excellent facilities that had availability on the dates we needed, and most importantly, with facilities that fit our requirements perfectly. We visited two, and locked one in. He turned what initially felt like an overwhelming task into a breeze. Thanks to his efforts, we experienced no stress and felt confident in the choices presented. I highly recommend CareAbout to anyone in need of respite care services. Billy's dedication and expertise made all the difference, Mum and Dad were really happy, and I'm already recommending CareAbout to everyone I know.
