Can’t thank the team enough at Elm Park. Clare has been fantastic and very thorough from the day we met her and throughout the whole process until we got our keys. Everything has went smoothly, good communication and very little minor snags (dealt with promptly). Highly recommend Cavanna homes.
Always great customer services from Kelly and Liana. Beautiful homes with better specification than the competitors.
Greenslade Taylor Hunt are delighted to be working with Cavanna Homes at their prestigious Oak Mount development in Hemyock. High quality homes with a beautiful show home and an excellent sales advisor.
Great communication. Karen is always happy to help up at Broadleigh park and always has the answers to our questions.
Liana and Kelly have been fantastic! They made every step of buying my home very easy , thank you girls!
Our toilets have all blocked. Again. This happened just before Xmas too. We had to pay £380 out a few days before Christmas to have our toilets unblocked because Cavanna were closed for Christmas. I have now emailed twice over the last couple of days asking for urgent assistance as it is happening again and no one has even bothered to reply. The best part is we now know the problem isn’t even on our land. We have a shared sewage pipe which goes from our land onto the main drains of the development, through other properties, other peoples waste is causing us the issue because we at the end of the line. Shoddy planning! How did this development ever get approval?! Last time the blockage was 5m away from our boundary and yet we still had to pay out. Terrible customer service and general treatment again Cavanna Homes!!
We moved into our new home in December 2023. We found Kelly and Lianna in the sales office to be very helpful to us, particularly as this was our first experience of buying a new house. We have had some minor snags to deal with since moving in but Willie and Guy (site managers) have been responsive and handled things in a very professional manner. We would happily recommend Cavanna to other prospective purchasers.
As a housing association tenant, we were introduced to our new build home built by Cavanna homes in Devon. First impressions were good, average size lounge, good size kitchen (no provision for dishwasher) heat pump heating (not the cheapest to run sadly) no access to any loft storage, good size garden, but grass that just gets water logged, 2 x rear access gates that wont either shut, or close without much perseverance, initially did not have running hot water to the bath tub, but this was recently rectified, apparently the original plumber had plumbed in the valve back to front? Anyway probably the biggest issue is, the developer decided to not bother with solar panels! This would have made such a significant difference to the running costs. Also, the house gets very hot like so many other modern built homes in the UK during summer months. Their remedy is, open all the windows, and, well, let all the insects in? Ok must not be too complaisant must we.
Now settling in to our new Cavanna house. I really get the impression Cavanna are a cut above your typical national house builder. The house is lovely and the site has obviously had a lot of care in its design. The customer service via the sales office, and with those they have put me im touch with, has been particularly good. We've felt looked after every step of the way. A few minor cons have been: - At times I've felt our house design hasn't been quite as thought-out as it could have been/you are quite restricted to using it exactly as set out in the show home (it's a new design I think.) - Had difficulty getting hold of customer service/a plumber on one fairly urgent occasion - Was misinformed of an important fact regarding part of the propery's dimensions that partly influenced my purchase; although I believe this was a genuine mistake. On the whole though, have had a great experience with Cavanna and I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another Cavanna home in the future or recommended them to a friend.
We moved into our new Cavanna home last month using their part-exchange scheme. Liana and Kelly (Sales Advisors) and Rob (Site Manager), ensured the whole process ran smoothly from start to finish with all deadlines met, as promised, and any queries we had were dealt with promptly and professionally. Having had no previous knowledge or experience of Cavanna as a company, we have been very impressed and would highly recommend them both for their beautiful, high-quality homes and their superb customer service.
My experience with Cavanna (Equinox 3) was all really positive. The process from start to finish did move very quickly (however not a bad thing). Kelly and Liana were always on hand to answer questions and kept you in the loop at every turn. The house itself was finished to an excellent standard with only a few minor issues being examined. The added extras I chose with the house were installed to a high standard. Altogether I would recommend Cavanna homes!
Please do not fall for anyone telling you that this company build better houses. I cannot express how much anguish they have caused me since buying my home 2 years 3 months ago, and repercussions this has had to my mental health. It’s been like banging my head on a brick wall. I moved in and reported many many snags which I believe were due to the house being rushed, since it was behind schedule. They actually told me they wanted it to go through before the end of August for financial reasons. Some snags were attended to, but many I had to contact them again and again to get anywhere. They accused me of not reporting issues and no longer had my snag list etc. I was asked to report issues and send photos and then, later, when I’d heard nothing, they’d ask me to report the issue, with photos all over again. I even had the phone put down on me once for no reason. This wasn’t just me, but a large number of residents in the development experienced the same. It got to the point that we formed a group and had to threaten them with legal action if defects were not dealt with. After I managed to get in contact with a senior member, things improved initially, but this person left the company soon after (they seem to have a problem with staff retention) and we were again in the same situation. They even told me that whatever was promised by two people in the company would not be fulfilled as they were no longer working there. The final blow has just occurred. My roof has been put up incorrectly and Cavanna are refusing to attend to the issue as it was not reported within the 2 year period. However, I had a small water mark on a bedroom ceiling in line with the roof ridge (where there’s no loft boarding above), which I did report within the timeframe. Cavanna couldn’t find why it had occurred and a worker used stain block paint to cover it, which seems to have worked for now. They told me to monitor it. But yesterday I went in the loft to find 2 puddles of water on an area that is boarded. I had a roofer here this morning who showed me that there are numerous screws all along the ridge baton that have missed the trusses and that they haven’t felted the ridge at all. He said that water would be coming through the screw holes slowly, that the whole ridge baton’s were installed incorrectly, and obviously there’s no felt. He was shocked when he saw it. He’s quoted me £4300 to fix the problem as the ridge and areas on either side will need to be removed to repair. I contacted Cavanna, and of course, they said the damp patch on the ceiling hasn’t come back and they won’t consider helping put the roof right as I’m reporting something new after the 2 years (by 3 months). This is not new! It’s extremely shoddy workmanship and again I am in tears due to Cavanna. I am a single widow and I simply don’t have the money to pay for this work. You really don’t think that after 2 years of buying a new house that you will have to spend this sort of money fixing a problem that occurred due to a build fault. Be warned.
Friendly, helpful and a great property with very few snags.
Cavanna as a whole have made our first home purchase super easy and relatively stress free. Kelly, Rob, Lianna and Claire were all very helpful and any minor issues we had were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The quality of the house is amazing with very little snagging issues of which were only cosmetic. Would highly recommend Cavanna! Alex & Beth
I've just moved into a new Cavanna home at Walborough Hill. I'm delighted with the quality of build and facilities. The Cavanna team were friendly very efficient and helpful at every stage of the process. I have every confidence in recommending anyone to buy a Cavanna home. A big thank you to you all especially Liana.
**update re Cavanna reply - There was no discussion. They just refused to help. Will be seeking legal action. Avoid. ** Awful experience with this house builder who just seem not willing to put anything right. Have lived in our new Cavanna home in Dawlish for just over 2 years. We had a major issue with flooring which was completely stained downstairs as was used by the builders prior to us moving in. The floor got stained by the Devon soil that was trampeled in and over time stained the flooring. Cavanna refused to replace this and offered us a meagre sum to get it cleaned. We have just discovered our downstairs toilet was incorrectly installed and advised this will need a new toilet with a higher waste pipe entry point to rectify it leaking. Cavanna again have refused to even look at this issue for us. I would not recommend Cavanna homes. They are fantastic with the selling but when there is a problem after sales they just don’t want to know.
We are very pleased with our new Cavanna Home at Broadleigh Park in Tavistock. Karen in the sales office has been excellent throughout the buying of our property. Even the builders are very polite! Thank you to everyone- Carol & Danny Norton
We’ve recently had some issues with our home and Cavanna swiftly sorted them. The decorators were brilliant in making our home look lovely after the work had been carried out. These wonderful gentlemen went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with what had been done and kept us up to date with all the proceedings.
Just brought our first home at Elm Park. Such an amazing team and so so helpful. Really quick and easy process and a lot less stressful than I could imagine. I massive special thanks to Georgina and Ian who have made the whole process a walk in the park.
