Apr 20,2021Shutters have been fitted for just over a week now and I can honestly say they have transformed the house. We upgraded to the 89mm slats with hidden mechanisms and it was a great choice. Light control is fantastic, especially with three separate sections on each of the French doors. With the all the slats open the light levels are amazing with an almost unobstructed view out of the window. Andrew and the team did a fantastic job of fitting them; left no mess and kept me fully informed on the delivery times during the Covid lockdown. After fitting we needed a slight adjustment making and this was carried out quickly with no bother. My original concerns over the cost of shutters compared to blinds soon evaporated once they were in place. The shutters have definitely been worth the extra investment and should last us for many years.

Andrew was great, he came out to measure up really quickly and although there were delays with delivery, due to COVID, they fitted the shutter as soon as they were able to. Overall really thrilled with it and trying to convince the other half to do more windows 😊

Jan 01,2021Having received a number of quotes for the replacement of our venetian blinds with shutters we decided to go with this firm as we thought that in terms of both quality and value they were the best option. Furthermore, there was no hard sell and clearly Andrew Faraday was confident about his product. We were given a 8 to 10 week delivery/fitting date which was achieved. We were told that fitting the shutters might run into a second day but in the end they were all fitted in a single day. They even took down the old blinds and were very clean and tidy throughout. Overall, we are extremely happy with the result. A very professional job and we certainly wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending this firm.

Dec 22,2020WHOLLY RECOMMENDED. The quality, finish and fit of the plantation shutters supplied by Charles Faraday is absolutely amazing. There is no pressure selling on the initial visit, merely a measure up followed by an email quotation. There were ZERO problems I could find after fitting - these guys are professionals and do not cut corners. Andrew Faraday did both the initial measurements AND was on the team fitting the blinds. They achieved an amazing result, even in my slightly unsquare 2m high square bays. They look incredible and all visitors comment on how beautiful they look from both outside and in.

Dec 21,2020My wife and I are delighted with the two 8ft wide windows that have been fitted with new shutters. Our lounge is a bay window so a real challenge to design but the shutters look like they are part of the house structure. Absolutely beautiful. The kitchen shutter, also 8ft wide and in 4 sections looks stunning. Our kitchen unit colour was matched perfectly with the colour swatches. Great service, top quality product and professional workmanship.

May 19,2021My wife and I decided to replace all our conservatory blinds and to replace a kitchen window blind that had seen better days. We decided to ask Charles Faraday to quote for the work and Andrew came to measure up and to show samples. There was never any pressure and we received useful advice and information about our requirements. We placed an order for 12 conservatory and one kitchen blind and although the cost was not insubstantial, it was highly competitive and excellent value. The order was fulfilled in about 3 weeks and the blinds are just as we had expected. They have been fitted perfectly and operate with ease. We can completely cover our conservatory windows in seconds and they suit our use of the conservatory as a dining room. I have no hesitation in recommending Charles Faraday for window blinds.
