Still having problems getting reimbursement for Dark Web monitoring which I never expressly agreed to . They made me an offer but withdrew it after I did not accept within their imposed 6 day deadline. I didn't reply within their time limit due to problems with my computer. This I explained on the seventh day but they haven't responded. This was over a week ago. Really not what one would expect.

We've been collaborating with Chess ICT for over five years + and have consistently received exceptional service. Recently, we upgraded our connections to leased lines. While the planning and infrastructure enhancements required some time, we were kept well-informed throughout each stage of the process. This month, we opted to upgrade our voice phones to Yealink models T46U, moving to a significantly improved version. Our engineer, Christopher Smith, was notably professional. He arrived punctually, efficiently set up and installed the new system. He was thorough in discussing any necessary adjustments, performed tests on the phones, and provided us with valuable training. Fault was fixed quickly and follow up training session arranged with staff involved to show us how to avoid issues in the future which was very useful. Lots of useful tips shared and very well explained.
We had a query about our Collaborate call handling system. Michael was very quick to help us with our query and help us to rectify. We had a video call with Michael where he talked us through the process we needed to follow, he was happy to take any questions we had and give us some other tips to help us with the system. Feb 16,2024I'd give zero stars if I could. I'll keep this short as there are tonnes of negative reviews for people to read through on here and Google - Just google Chess ICT Reviews. Avoid at all costs: > Terrible service > Add items to your bill without permission and refuse to reimburse > Misleading contracts > Find excuses for not responding > Blame the customer > Send opt-out emails to staff we had informed them should be removed > SLA is based on when they respond, not when they resolve, meaning a simple thanks for your ticket hits the SLA, even if they take 3 weeks to resolve. We have complained, and the case was closed without dialogue (they messaged a totally different person in the business, in a different country). For anyone stuck in a contract with substandard levels of service and increasing costs, I'd be happy to coordinate a collection of all the stories to be shared with Ofcom and the media. Don't give in, Chess will quickly send you a deadlock letter and then escalate further, we all have a duty to make sure less people fall foul of these terrible practices.
