I purchased some cashmere and delicates wash, along with a couple of other bits for cashmere care. Sadly, when they arrived both bottles were leaking as the lids had been damaged in transit; however, I contacted clothes doctor and they kindly sent out two new bottles which reached me in perfect condition. The detergent smells so good! Very lightly scented but enough to still smell on the clothes after a hand wash. Very very happy and will be purchasing more in the future!
Bought three bags of these in December and thought they were a bit pricey but I’ve had a problem with carpet moths getting in my clothes for years and have never been able to get rid of them altogether. Have had these in place for over 6 weeks and haven’t seen a moth for that whole time so I am really really pleased with them. Will definitely be buying again.
I placed an order with Clothes Doctor on January 15th for £100.15 and the order never arrived. I sent 3 emails trying to track this order and got zero response. There is no telephone number for their customer services and there is no way to get a refund or a replacement. They claim that their orders are tracked, yet mine has no trace. Avoid ordering from this company as they are clearly out to get your money. Perhaps this review will get them to finally respond to me. My order number is S-15942 Furthermore, I started a subscription on the same day that I’ve placed the order and now I obviously would like to stop it.
Am wondering if this company has gone under - placed an order on 6 Jan, no further information (of course they’ve taken my money). Emailed some days ago to follow up - nothing. I have edited this because my products have arrived (& are great!) following several emails with the company which seemed to prompt delivery of the products on Friday 2 Feb.
First of all the communication was poor and I sent a £300 bag to them for repair and had no acknowledgment of it’s arrival etc, then I had to continuously chase for updates on how long the repair would take, when it did finally arrive it was the wrong bag - apparently the bag that is used for spares although I pretty much knew it was my old bag but all the lining had been ripped out and the zips not fixed which is what I was paying for, then I spoke with the lady who said she had made a mistake and can I send that one back and she has mine with all the repairs and stupidly I sent the old one back before checking the new one as the courier took the old one as he delivered what was supposed to be my new fixed bag…. Shocking!! The bag was appalling …. The zips were mismatched and the whistles gold zip pullers had not been put on, the black zip had been sewn in with white thread which was visible and looked very poor and unprofessional, the bag, I don’t believe was mine and the way it was packaged was diabolical. After a conversation, which throughout didn’t once apologise for my stress and played on how it had been a bad experience for us both I got a refund and am awaiting the return of the gold zip ends when the bad I returned arrives back…. I mean it needn’t have been a bad experience for us both if you and it just repaired the bag and did what you was paid to do. Truly the worst experience I’ve had and to say that Whistle’s are actually recommending this company for their crap bags when they go wrong! Avoid this company it’s an absolute nightmare and basically the bag is ruined in my mind…
Had an extremely shakey start clothes doctor waited two weeks for order no response from company!! However .... miraculously my order then appeared and although we started off in a bad way I have to say product is fabulous once delivered No complaints now and second order came extremely swiftly
Have had 3 products from the Clothes Doctor and all were great. The cashmere comb is fantastic it really does the job better than any comb or defuzzer I’ve bought before. The cashmere hand wash smells divine and the spritz if fantastic. Would highly recommend all 3
Awful ....avoid at all costs. *if others read the reply by this supplier you may be misled by the sentiment expressed in rectifying this...none of the promised actions below have been received including the email indicated. Having no trust in the genuineness of this. The solution I have repeatedly request is a refund. Ordered on 6th November No delivery...no response via email or to messages sent by Instagram. No tracking available and I would suggest this is the worst online order experience i have had.
Still not received my order … it’s been so long that the moths have eaten my clothes. After ordering was told there would be a delay - fair enough. That delayed date was over a week ago. no courtesy updates from the company but I did get a patronising email from customer services when I dared to enquire about my order… along the lines of you should’ve known it was going to be late, no Indication of new times scales and no apology. Not impressed. First and last purchase from the company. Wish I’d not bothered.
Ordered items on 18th October, have still not received anything two weeks later and my account simply says 'unfulfilled' although they have taken my money. They do not respond to emails and do not have a phone number. How can they run a business without having any communication with their customers? Shocking. I will not be using them again.
We had about 15 items repaired and could not be more delighted. One precious duvet cover, many jumpers with moth holes and worse, and several pairs of trousers with holes and ripped linings. Also a chiffon top that tore and I thought was hopeless. We are so thrilled with Clothes Doctor ! Very responsive, excellent work!
Avoid this company. Money taken but no product received after 2 weeks. No response from several emails to 'customer services', no response from automated reply on instant messenger and no reply from message left on automated voicemail. Appalling service and total con. Response to comment: please check your emails...order number sent to you x 4 emails, no response from you.
I don't trust those dry cleaning places that do tailoring, so found Clothes Doctor online instead. I have used these guys in the past for some alterations on expensive and designer items and will continue to do so - it may be pricier than the dry cleaners but it's absolutely worth it if you want your alterations done by skilled hands. This time round Ellie altered a pleated skirt for me and it was impeccably done - you can't tell it was ever altered. She also kept me in the loop throughout the process. Their clothing care products are next on my to-try list!
Good material and nice style. I bought a few things but long ago. And the best thing is that it is easy to clean!
I had a Vivienne Westwood knitted pullover with a few moth holes in the garment and had it in storage for years. I was absolutely devastated as I had only worn the garment a few times and as Vivienne Westwood garments are very expensive I thought the only place for it was the bin but somehow I never got round to binning it! I came across the garment when doing a major clear out and thought it might be fixable. I emailed photos of the damage to The Clothes Doctor and they were more than happy to repair it. Just received my garment back from Ellie who has done a fantastic job. Not only did I get my pullover back fully restored it was done in very quickly and with the advantage of having the repaired garment posted back to me I didn't even have to leave the house. Thanks very much again Clothes Doctor and especially Ellie. I'll be contacting you soon to discuss repairing an Armani knitted coat that is 30+ years old. Hope you can help me again!!

Clothes doctor #3 is exceptional on cashmere. Can’t wait to try the rest of the range...
Very nervously sent in a knitted cashmere jumper that I unfortunately wore when handling a puppy with its sharp claws which caused a hole in the knitting! Payment service was easy. (Side note: I would recommend printing your Royal Mail label at home, otherwise the post office overcharges you for Parcelforce!) Return postage is prepaid on the Clothes Doctor website as is very reasonable. Took 2 weeks for them to repair and send back. Hole was stabilised and sewn up with thread and the thread colour was an exact match for my item. Overall I am pleased.
Repaired moth holes that other people said couldn't be fixed. Pricing seemed fair and communication was excellent with a personal touch. Would thoroughly recommend.

Apr 06,2023Wonderful service from Clothes Doctor: quick delivery of quote on request, clear instructions on packing off our holey jumpers and beloved woolen cat toy, and everything sent back with near-as-possible invisible fixes. Would highly recommend and love that this business is based in Cornwall and hires local skilled workers.
