Dec 18,2021Seems great, responsive customer service etc. but the quality is diabolical. Twisted headstock, huge dent, various little dents, paper thin veneer, badly routed, gap under fretboard where it meets body. Be much better off ignoring the veneer and buying a Harley Benton kit.

Dec 07,2021Prompt attention and response to a query. The kit arrived in good condition and contains sheets of instructions and hints (which is more than some). All components appear to be present but as yet I haven't started assembly - concentrating on staining/ varnishing the body and neck first. The only thing I would query at the moment is there appears to be no string tree for the headstock. This type of guitar (t-type) always has a string tree to help the 1st and 2nd strings sit in the nut.

Dec 07,2021I initially contacted Coban Guitars to talk to them about the different veneers they offer in their range of hollow body ES style guitars and they were great. A chap called Mark phoned me back and told me everything I needed to know, he was really helpful, he sent me a couple photos of the ones they had in stock and I was able to order the one I wanted, brilliant.

Nov 30,2021Everything came in the kit and it looks good. However marked it down because zi wanted black and not cream fittings. Says black on the outside of the box so presume happened in China.

Nov 06,2021Very good service, LP790 kit delivered in 3 days. Not so happy with the neck, cannot get it flat over the full length. Expected 2 samples of the veneer to be included, only one in the package. Looks like a good assembly manual, expected just a few sheets of A1 paper. Overall though very good. Would like to comment when I have started the assembly.

Oct 29,2021Very nice packaging. Quick delivery. I did not build the kit yet but did put tye neck in with the 2 E strings. Neck is pretty straight, very happy with that. Only downside I noticed is that the neck sits to high in the joint. I will need to shave of 3-4 mm

Oct 28,2021Came really quick delivered by DPD. Nicely boxed and product was as described. I think these kits are superb value and live building them. You need a few basic skills but there are plenty of videos on YouTube on how to apply a finish and assemble these kits. This is essential as the instructions are very basic, This is my third kit.
