Nov 09,2019Really fine quality for the money. Besides thefine price-value balance, Coban guitars offers fast and positive client service. The wood quality is great. I've have great joy of three wonderful Coban guitars for the moment - a few more kits is just waiting for my time. In the DYI electric guitars "business", I can only recommend Coban Guitars.

Jul 31,2019I have had two Coban self build electric guitar kits from U.K. Music Supplies, an LP style and a T style. These were grade ‘B’ kits with slight imperfections which I sought out due to my limited budget. I found these kits to be of a very acceptable quality level given the price. I had no missing parts and all the hardware worked correctly and assembled well. I believe the kits can be assembled by anyone with reasonable DIY skills and when finished you can be proud of a beautiful and playable instrument. As with most Made in China stuff the assembly instructions are not very accurate nor comprehensive however fortunately there is an abundance of instruction to be easily found on-line also Mark at U.K. music was very helpful when needed. Cost wise Comparing attempting to make your own guitar completely from scratch these kits represent a substantial cost saving.

Nov 26,2018Super store. Great service before bying. Fast reply on questions. The quality of the kits is really fantastic. Nice woods - if you i.e. like ebony on your fretboard. I do! Very fine neck fitting, which is of course critical in order to get a fine intonation and action on your guitar. Of course getting a sublime result demands you to have some skills and experience on both guitars and wood.
