The process of buying and the customer care are very good with this company. I also received the kit when and where they said I would, which is always a bonus. I haven't built the kit yet but a quick inspection of the parts revealed that everything is as it should be and it's worth noting that (at least with a set-neck style guitar) you get a matched pair between neck and body. That is a very worthwhile detail, especially for people who have little or no knowledge of guitar construction. And even for a professional it saves time and work in completing the kit. Everything about this company indicates joined-up thinking with a view to the customer ending up with a real instrument and not just a toy or ornament. Well done. Thanks.

Looking for cheap reliable strings after my old go to brand went pffft. These are pretty decent, basic strings for electric. I've had them on over a month now with no issues. They don't have a wide selection of gauges, 9 s was what I bought. However they come quickly, do the job nicely, pretty consisten, stay in tune very quickly once played in and strong enough to go all bendy without snapping that high e. Decent strings for someone like me, a hobby guitarist and for this price range definitely better than some other brands Ive tried, including a few well known brands that cost considerably more. Tried one packet to see if they were any good and then got a few more for my other guitars...ok I get GAS and seem to accumulate string plinkleboxes...I ll give their acoustic strings a try when I run out of my current box. Quite tempted with their kits but im such a numpty with wod Ill probably reinvent the wheel as an edible fungus.

My second kit from Coban and very pleased with price, quality and speedy delivery. As with the first guitar kit, I have upgraded machine heads but this is a personal choice. The included strings are only useful for setting up and ditched the guitar lead too.

I got the maple Les Paul style kit and it’s been a super fun build and has turned out great. Also great customer service from Mark who answered all of my silly novice guitar builder questions! Would recommend.

I have had nothing but great care from Mark and his team. Following a resolution of a query on Christmas Eve I needed further advice relating to a faulty truss rod. Three questions later and a new kit guitar neck was in the post and all is now well.

Such a great Christmas gift, this was the first time I built a guitar from a kit and it came out far exceeding my expectations This guitar has now become my main gigging axe. You're getting some fine quality body and neck from coban for a great price qnd you can easily assemble using the supplied hardware but it makes a great platform to mod and upgrade. I ended up upgrading the wiring set, tuners, pickups and bridge and its now my best playing and sounding guitar... i love this guitar! Coban also really helpful and responsive with questions and parts etc.

Kit went together perfectly, found there were 6 missing machine head screws, messaged Coban Guitars & got an instant reply on a Saturday evening. Screws in post and received on Wednesday. Fab customer service

Found them to be highly professional and friendly company to deal with. Very good communication (even over weekends and out of hours). Small issue I had was dealt with instantly. A real and genuine please to deal with. Kit quality was equally impressive. Fit and finish was perfect on all items and the kit was a genuine pleasure to build. Highly recommended. 5 star!

Decent guitar kit, not high-end but definitely one of the better ones and plenty of potential to become high-end! Neck pocket had to be ever so slightly chisel-ed to fit the neck (sanding or filing would have worked too) but no complaints from me. 5 stars, thank you.

Excellent communication and care from Coban Guitars. I actually felt valued by a company, which can sometimes be rather elusive with other companies. I guess, that like many people who genuinely deal in guitars, then they are enthusiasts too, so therefore care. That care was very much appreciated!

I am very happy. The guitar DIY set arrived saftely. It feels great and the quality is super. I got a great support from the web site when I asked some questions about the product. Will have a lot of fun putting it together. I highly recommend Coban Guitars.
