Feb 15,2023This excellent firm of solicitors has carried out three pieces of legal work for my wife and me:- Our Wills in 2007, The purchase of the flat where we now live in 2021, and The sale of our country cottage in 2022. The latter was a particularly complicated transaction with many matters which the purchasers' solicitors required to be resolved, including rights of way, the septic tank, water supply and Japanese knotweed. The first sale fell through, meaning that much of the previous work had to be repeated before we could achieve the eventual sale. Everything was done efficiently and as speedily as possible. I would mention particularly Stephanie Anscombe, the trainee Legal Executive who had control of the file. She is a first rate conveyancer.

Jan 30,2023My partner and I utilised Jason Barnett (Bmouth branch) for my property sale and a joint purchase during 2022. Early on in the process, it was clear from speaking to wider parties (estate agents) that Jason was highly regarded as one of the best in his field. This stood to be true during what was to be a pretty horrendous sale of my apartment due to various factors outside of our control. The entire journey was pretty stressful and almost culminated on losing out on our onward purchase. Throughout this time Jason was a reassuring beacon of light during a very stressful process. He did all he could to apply pressure to relevant parties at the right times. He recognised the stress this was causing us and even on annual leave, he offered support and was able to direct us to other people in the company to help. He was always there to reassure us with prompt replies to emails and calls. When one of our sales fell through, Jason could have charged us again, but recognised the difficult nature of that particular buyer and our bad luck, he didn't charge us for a section of fees. This wasn't something we requested, it was offered by Jason as a good will gesture. Such gestures are rare in business today and it showed my partner and I that Jason genuinely cares about the work he is undertaking for his clients. Another buyer secured and our sale and purchase went through successfully. I have purchased and sold a number of properties and Jason is, as the estate agents detailed, clearly one of the very best in his field. Anyone using him for conveyancing will be in very safe, reliable and professional hands. The companies costs in general I would describe as average for this area of work, not cheap but also not too expensive. Given the level of service we obtained, it was absolutely worth every penny. My partner and I would not go anywhere else beyond Coles Miller now. We highly recommend them.
