Oct 14,2022I have used this sevice for a number of years and enrolled in the TAP program because it seemed appropriate after resolving my unfiled tax years. Community Tax failed in so many ways over the years but once you commit with the costs of thousands of dollars it is impossible to just withdraw and go somewhere else and pay again. I resolved the tax records myself - on my own that CT FAILED TO address. ONE agent did point me in a right direction but CT should have dealt with the isues YEARS before. I WILL file my own taxes in the future but continue through the first 5 years after my OIC to use the overpriced TAP for one last year - 2022. I would never recommend this company. If I could pull together all of the failures in a compiled history it would expose the amatuer agency and lack of professional experience that is a hallmark of this company.

Oct 14,2022I have been attempting to contact my case advocate and many others at community tax, at this point I’m just being ignored. Was charged 3k for filing my taxes for five years, never negotiated a lower debt or enrolled me in a IRS program for relief. Now they’re avoiding all forms of requests to speak to someone, was told the manager conveniently had an emergency when I called yesterday to speak with someone. Frustrated is an understatement at this point, beware of these people. I was scammed out of $3000.00 and note they’re avoiding all my attempts to speak to anyone there. JN

Oct 13,2022I have had the worst experience with this company and wish I had NEVER given them my money. I would have been better off doing this on my own. It's been over 2 years with no resolution, little communication and I'm still paying THEM. They don't answer my direct questions, keep asking for information I've already given them. Promises made by a great salesman were NOT kept.

Sep 19,2022I have been fighting the IRS for 11 years. What I was looking for was a way to end this nightmare. I contacted other companies that wanted thousands of dollars to "see what they could do". Community was my last and best call. They charged me hundreds not thousands for their service. Why said it may take a couple of weeks to get results. To my delight my problem was solved in days. I can't thank them enough.

Aug 22,2022The folks at community tax....a LIFE SAVER when I tell you the IRS was on me, it all started with the letters they began to come more frequent so I started looking for help. Shout out to Liberty Tax they connected me to Community Tax. I spoke with David, I gave him my entire run down. Then he connects me to Brian, it was the 1st week I believe, that he got me squared away. He set me up with a payment plan (that I can afford) You guys I thought I owed the IRS a TON of money, I was wrong it turned out to be half of what I thought I owed. Call Community Tax ASAP they will help you, and answer ALL your questions believe me I was texting them and everything, yep they will call you back. Thankyou David and Brian I know it took me forever to write this review #communitytax

However, since posting the review the management team of Community Tax immediately reached out and was responsive to my issue and concerns. While my tax matter has not been completely resolved, I believe the the company will be on top of my issue and keep the lines of communication open. I especially like the professional response from Sarah and Alex. Thank you.

Jul 12,2022Due to my procrastination to file taxes on time,Community Tax has taken over my case and they are able to get me to the point with state and federal taxes. that I have a more clearer vision of dealing with my tax debts and obligations. Nobody should deal with taxes on their own if they owe substantial taxes. Commmunity Tax provides me piece of mind in knowing that at some point, I’ll be out of debt and compliant with state and federal taxes.

Jul 08,2022I never received the State report that I paid for. I believe this is because I decided not to move forward and pay for the advanced services. Even after emailing three times to the representative that I was working with I failed to receive the state report that I paid over $500 for.

Jul 07,2022Very poor costumer service. They don’t explain the situation as it is. They tell you if they can’t help you. They refund your money. That only works if they can help you in their terms not what works for you. They sugar coat it. Make it seem like your getting deal you can’t pass on but in reality. The only ones that benefit from it is them. I would only say that it works for some one who is unemployed and broke with a lot of debt to the IRS. Beside that. I would not recommend their services at all. Specially their customers service. Garbage

Nov 16,2022DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!! I was charged about $2400 for tax relief 2 yrs ago. I never received much information other than, small not significant updates, such as " your case is still being processed", " or your case has been approved, we are just waiting on the IRS". Mind you then I really needed this assistance. Flash forward present day. I received a call stating the IRS did not approve my case because I am currently working. DUH! 2 yrs ago Pandemic happened I was not working I actually qualified then. NOW, that I am working they said I need to provide info because I can pay now! So what was the point of the $2400 that I qualified for the relief then with Community Tax. So basically they took my money and gave me no resolutions and actually did not resolve anything at all, they just took my money. WHAT WAS THE POINT?? Do not hire this firm, agency or whatever you want to call their business!!!!
