Sep 14,2024Jeg har været i compass group i snart 9 år, og er idag ligeså glad for det, som jeg var fra start. Som konditor kommer jeg fra en branche hvor “interessetimer” er en stor ting, helligdage var der intet af og var man syg, var det ligefør det blev mine fridage, for jeg havde jo lige været væk? Da jeg startede i Compass, blev jeg klar over hvor dårligt jeg var blevet behandlet, og alt overarbejde blev skrevet ned, der blev ikke set ned på mig, da jeg sagde jeg var gravid og min nærmeste leder var generelt bare fantastisk og lyttende. Jeg vil altid anbefale Compass group, selvfølgelig er der hårde tider, men det er der alle steder. Hvor jeg er, går vi også meget op i at udvikle på personalet og jeg har haft mange muligheder for at udvikle mig og stige i graderne. Vi har 60% økologi, køber så vidt muligt dansk og vores mad er billigere og sundere end bland selv slik, helt ærligt, what’s not to like!? :)

Jeg vil aldrig anbefale Compass Group, til nogen. dårlig og inkompetent leder Mette B. og en arrogant/snob/racist køkkechef (Jesper L.) 💩💩💩💩 De har handlet racistisk og med diskrimination over for gode arbejdere, “Tilfældigvis “ da Jesper blev valgt til køkkenchef har OPSAGT, i samarbejde med Mette B. og en der hedder Lejla, 4 gode (alle udlændinge) medarbejder ind for 30 dage. Du knokler bare derude. Man er bare en brik som ikke betyder noget som menneske!. Rigtig dårlig arbejdsmiljø og meget psykisk chikane på arbejdspladsen!!!!!!💩💩💩 I burde skamme Jer !!!! 🤡🤡🤡 HR : kan i godt lad være med at kommentere min anmeldelse ? tak !!!!

Aug 16,2024I haven't worked for this company for a long time, and I still get flashbacks of how I was treated. I was called a C... On a regular basis and made to work like a dog with pennies, which was never good enough or fast enough. Anything you do will never be enough. The way they promote you is that if you suck so far up their a.. then they might help you. I wouldn't work for this company if I were you. I know you might really struggle for money, but please find another job. This place really takes your energy and mental health with it.

Aug 04,2024Worst breakfast ever!!! Never going back. Sunday. Busy in shop but Cafe was not busy. Ordered all day brunch x 2. Order placed at 12.05. Went up to ask for ketchup and noticed that someone (staff) was giving the other staff a telling off. I had to wait quite a while before someone came to the counter due to this. I was told that they could only give out 1 sachet of sauce per customer! So went into store and purchased a bottle of ketchup to use. At 12.35 I went up to check on my order. It eventually came out at 12.45. Wish I hadn't bothered. Yuk! The beans were so dry, no sauce at all. Eggs were rubber. Bacon was anemic looking and 90% fat and tepid. Toast was cold. NO SAUSAGES. Couldn't be bothered to wait at the counter for another 5 minutes to ask where the sausages were. Ate some as was very hungry but left most of it. Waste of money. We are never eating there again. Asda sack off Compass and run it yourself for goodness sakes.

Jul 24,2024Il gruppo compass gestisce la mensa dell' azienda dove lavoro, in 25 anni non ho mai visto una mensa peggiore, cibo scadente , cucinato in maniera pessima anche gli alimenti confezionati sono di scarsissima qualità. ALCUNI AFFETTATI ODORANO DI FECI !!! Speriamo gli venga tolta presto la gestione.

Jul 02,2024Hi The other review I had put was more negative but there are good and bad days at work here mostly people are polite and nice and the manager showed everyone around the units before work. Shifts can be stressful but fun sometimes to get stock and do stock take the food we made was good food and the hours were short and there were some interesting security measures in compass group. The universality was very equalised and the staff were very friendly and they hard working and it’s a fun thing to do making people food and drink and serving match day it can get very busy at the stadium quite enjoyable on the whole and some work stressors sometimes it’s nice place to go and a good work station and tidy and clean it was a nice enough short hour weekends job. Thanks enjoyable thing to do.

May 25,2024Visited Asda cafe at Westbrook Warrington today. Ordered drinks and food one meal came out 25 minutes after ordering it and 15 minute later they came and asked if we wanted peas with our other meal my husband said I will just have a refund as by this time I had eaten my meal and got no response from the of staff he just walked off and then appeared with my husband’s meal which was cold and extremely greasy. Can’t find an email address to contact the company directly however reading the reviews this doesn’t surprise me. Definitely won’t be going in again which is a shame as before it was taken over by this shocking company it was lovely food and the staff where really polite.

May 24,2024Ringe "opgraderet" kantine i Ferring bygningen. (Public). Efter at have spist i den "gamle" kantine i 2 år, og rost den til skyerne, så har vi nu fået ombygget hele underetagen og herefter introduceret et nyt kantine koncept. Det er ganske enkelt det jammerligste jeg længe har oplevet. Man skal booke timeslot samt menu i en app før man kommer ned i kantinen. Det i sig selv er ret irreterende når man betaler pr. måned. Derudover er det meget begrænsende at være sat til et timeslot, når man i sit virke kan risikere at skulle skubbe aftaler rundt med kort varsel. Derudover så er vi nu gået fra en lækker buffet til 3 forskellige avantgarde menuer man skal vælge imellem. Det er portionsanrettet, hvilket for min del betyder en del madspild, da jeg ikke spiser den mængde der serveres. Der burde være et 4. alternativ til os der ikke kommer fra Østerbro, og bare gerne vil spise noget ret normalt. Til eksempel var min frokost i går et stykke brød med asparges og et stykke brød med kikærtemos. Pyntet flot bevares. Jeg har taget konsekvensen af dette og meldt mig ud, og jeg ved at flere af mine kollegaer har ytret ønske om at gøre det samme. Det kan ikke anbefales.

The area manager for the school is absolutely shockingly bad at her job (opinion of staff at other schools also) Intentionally made my child unwell and lie about the menu options, my child is offered the same two puddings day after day, despite the menu showing lots of different options. Emailed twice about it and nothing, not even a response. After having seen what has recently been shown about this company, all schools should find a different catering company. They literally do not give a crap about your children or their welfare. They try to get you to sign forms so they can’t be held responsible when they deliberately make your children unwell by feeding them things they cannot eat. Told my child they needed to have gluten free pasta for a dairy allergy 🙄 like seriously?? If you do not know the difference between a dairy allergy and a gluten allergy, you certainly shouldn’t be working anywhere near a kitchen

Apr 24,2024I left last month thank God and I got my payslip today their trying to say they over payed me 437 which is wrong they payed me what I worked in March I didn't get a new payslip stating what the new deductions were the cut of date with this company was the 14th so in theory I should of got what I worked they took of a day as I didn't have any holiday and sick pay which was 3 days so don't understand how I've been overpayed as I didn't work it yet it should of come of this month wages do not work for this company unison are now involved they are untrustworthy

Mar 28,2024Asda in Grimsby is run by Compass. What a shambles! 1 free small sachet of tomato sauce for 3 meals to share otherwise buy at 10p a sachet! No chips on kids breakfast and bad service. Tables dirty. Complained to compass just ignored me Do not recommend!!

Mar 14,2024I work at a hospital where there is a compass run restaurant, no one told me I basically needed to sell a kidney to afford to buy there! I can't get my head around how they charge the extortionate prices they do. The food is mediocre and the restaurant is not kept clean at all. The staff are constantly having to listen to complaints about the prices, this is unfair! Compass you need to justify your prices.

Feb 19,2024Some really good recruiters depending on who’s managing the vacancy.Compass contacted me for one .However his client moved the goal posts and I was led totally up the garden path. Recruiter was Extremely pushy and only gave you so much information re the role. Became very rude when doubts about the actual role was asked. Had totally given me misinformation as I got inside info in the end. Obviously had already counted on getting a good bonus that didn’t happen neither did the job.Then recruiter had a total personality change! This particular recruiter let his side down badly. Lesson .Do your own company check and don’t believe everything you’re told…basically it was a scam to get a vacancy filled. Complaints system illusive.

Feb 15,2024I'm a current employee of Compass...working for Dine....they are quick to send out all their literature on the portal about how concerned they are about employee's mental health or equality...its all talk....every issue with this company has to go to my chef Manager who then has to email...and wait for a response...my wage last month was incorrect due to the client pays our sick days..and when we was put on a new contract last September! This was not updated...my manager has sent numerous emails to correct this....basically doing their job for them...and all they do is send back emails that don't make sense and have no relevance to the pay issue...its now nearly 3 wks and all I'm being given is the run around...compass don't care about the catering assistants on the front line who work hard every day to make compass big cats their big bonuses. They don't care about the hard ship it's caused me...I'm not giving up on this...why should I be short changed..unfortunately employee's on my level are scared to speak up about how compass really are ...due to threat of loosing jobs...HR should have sorted my issue weeks ago ...instead they pass my manager from pillar to post...even to turn around and try to blame other departments...they are disgusting and do NOT care about their employees...

Jan 05,2024Just an awful company to work for been employed with them for a year. This things happened. 1. Wages were not the same every month was always short. 2. Had to buy food out of my own money and I was never reimbursed. 3. Wasn’t reimbursed for petrol money when had to go to collect the food at the school where it was cooked. 4. Finally had a letter today that I owe them money (£53) as they made a mistake on my last pay-slip from them. No am not paying it, fck off Chartwells and Compass Group.
