Apr 25,2021I ordered a fan and cooling fin for a Toshiba P-505-S8980 from Amazon,. I had already taken my computer totally apart only to find that I was sent the wrong fan. I took my computer, disassembled, to Computer Doctor, and not only did they find and install the correct fan, they also discovered that the problem was not the fan but the hard drive. They changed the hard drive, upgraded the operating system, and re-assembled the computer, all for a very reasonable price, and they did this all very quickly! The computer works better now than when I bought it 10 years ago. They are by far the best computer repair center in NYC. I give them 10 stars.

Apr 02,2021I dropped off a hard drive. that I needed to boot from. I told the young man working there that I could read the drive and all files seemed to be intact, that it probably was an operating system issue. It was an older drive so of course, a newer computer wouldn't work (at least with my skill set). So the instructions were to try and find something that it would boot from. The guy (who apparently doesnt know the difference between a byte and a bite) calls me back 2 weeks later and says (the files are intact but i think the operating system is bad) and charges me 40 bucks for the pleasure. Avoid this place.

Jul 02,2021I brought my aging Sony Vaio laptop in to have the screen replaced. Within 3 days I had an estimate and the repairs were completed. This company knows what it is doing. They are a professional outfit. Thanks for a job well done.
