Communication is an issue. Things go unnoticed and unaddressed for quite some time. Everyone is very nice and accommodating to a degree. I have been on my own doing most of this, which is not the way I thought it was supposed to be!
It was such a relief to know there are services like CESI that actually want to help reduce debt without trying to profit from it.
They have been very helpful since day 1. The emails they send include valuable information. They always keep you informed about the status of your program.
Very poor of being able to get my new Macy's account number for them to continue payments on my behalf. I have been working on this problem since last November, 2016. Told so many different things and still Macy's will not give me my new number so I can pass it on to CESI. I'm ready to delete my Macy's account from the debt consolidation service and repay myself. Will continue to use CESI to pay off the last debt I have but I would not recommend them to anyone.
First I would like to say, the monthly service is wonderful. I have used them in the past and it has always been a pleasure. However, I recently called to request a bank change and was sent a form. was NOT told they would place my account on hold and not make payments. So I have creditors contacting me now, one has dropped me completely from the program. Once I was informed the account was placed on hold, I mailed in the change form along with a cancelled check about a month later I was contacted that they didn't get the check. So I went home from work (because I was told I had to get the check to them that day) got another check, came back to work, attempted to fax it 5 times without success, I then called back AGAIN, and got a young man on the phone. When I explained that the fax wasn't working his response was, "huh I dunno they are working fine on our end", he didn't offer to go look to see or anything. He told me to email the check. So I scanned it and emailed to the address he gave me. It bounces back! So I had to call AGAIN, this time I got a very helpful young lady who gave me her direct email and everything went through fine. I HOPE they are going to get things straightened out with my account and being dropped. Lack of communication and proper explanation on the changing bank policies really sucks!
We turned to CESI in a time of desperation, with 6 of our credit cards behind and at their limits. They were able to quickly and easily make proposals that were accepted by each creditor. We had one account that was not old enough to be enrolled, so we continued to make the minimum payment on the account, with the intent of enrolling it in the debt management program when available. When the time came, the account was added and CESI sent proposals that were accepted and all continued on beautifully into credit repayment bliss... or so we thought. Following several months of making payments to the last account, we received documentation in the mail that the account had been referred to a lawyer for further collection activity due to serious delinquency. Through many phone calls and long conversations with Melba we discovered that CESI had been sending the payments to the wrong department(?) and the account had been written off due to non-payment. In the end, we received a refund for 2 of the 6 payments that had been sent to Narnia, but it doesn't lessen the sting of now paying a lawyer for an account that should have been secured easily as the creditor was a large, very common company. We have 7 months left on our DMP, and I am forever grateful that we have had a (mostly) easy and pleasant experience with the staff at CESI, but the fiasco with the one creditor will definitely leave a bad taste in my mouth.
With CESI I have been able to really put dent in my credit card accounts, and slowly but surely my credit rating has gone up. When I started it was VERY POOR, and now it is FAIR and getting very close to GOOD. You can be sure I will never get in this much trouble with my credit again; and thank goodness I have had CESI to help me get out of it.
People are very professional and helpful
very informative and up to date
I like working with cesi
I would like to thank Cesi for helping me out with my debts!! Now I am all caught up with my bills. Sincerely, Marie Louis
I had a really good experience with CESI. The only thing I did not like was you could not go back and review payments after the debt was taken care of. You had to call them to get the information, and what they sent was not easy to review.
Helped out each and every time I called
Very informative and easy to work with
Glad they were there when I needed some help.
This company made it easy with accuracy in paying down my debt.
I had four very ill people in my immediate family. The months before my father passed we're busy, difficult, and stressful. I lost track of what bills I had paid. I apparently forgot to pay my card bills. This service got me back on track, and it was so easy!!!
My first few conversations were great and I felt I'd be helped. I was going to pay off my debt quick. Now I wonder where my money goes because I'm still paying and it seems I will be for another year. So much for that. I am debating on canceling them and getting a personal loan so I don't have to deal with the extended pay offs anymore.
With Cesi, I do not have to worry.

Apr 06,2017The process was very easy and they explained everything clearly so there would be no confusion. The representative that helps me on my account is very nice and respectful. I love that I get notifications to remind me of payments so I never miss a deadline. Really helpful!
