Sep 05,2023I purchased the P320 full size barrel in June of 2023. I liked the idea of simulating felt recoil. When the device is working, it works great. However, I have noticed less than optimal functioning when it comes to troubleshooting and mechanisms associated with the barrel and CO2 adaptor. 1. The cool fire barrel tends to leak more often than I anticipated. I typically have to trouble shoot it after only 200 shots. This includes having to take apart the barrel, fiddling with the gaskets, seals, and striker cap for the firing pin. 2. The CO2 adaptor tends to leak. I also found that maintaining high pressure is essential in the CO2 cartridge. Therefore I am only able to use each cartridge for about 200-300 shots. The CO2 cartridge still has quite a bit of CO2 left, however not enough pressure to fill the Coolfire Barrel 3. I understand the need for consumables, however the rate at which the system goes through them seems to be high. The value to use ratio seems quite low. Cost of consumables is quite high Overall I really appreciate the customer service and the innovation of the device, however because of the less than optimal performance I don't think it is worth the amount of money that it costs to purchase and use.

Aug 30,2023Only part of our order was received and I have not been able to get into contact with anyone to get it fixed. I paid for the tips and the striker assembly and only received the plastic tips. All discolored as well so I'm not sure what's going on, I've never had CoolFire fail me like this before but may be looking into different options.

Wide range of pistol platforms supported. Good online how-to support videos. Does not alter the feel or handling of the weapon. Works with EDC holsters without modifications. Enables training indoors or outdoors, 24/7, without having to resort to hearing protection. The dB level of the CO2 "report" does not alarm nearby neighbors when used outdoors. Very easy to install.

Aug 08,2023Great customer service, really cool product, and great innovation. This has really increased my dryfire training and my confidence on the range. I've also used it to teach others and have noticed a rapid growth in others after even just several hours of training on the system, especially when combined with a range simulator or laser targets. The cost advantage of using SodaStream C02 has also made it possible to practice as much as I want with ammo still being expensive. No system is perfect but this is by far the best dryfire training tool I have ever used. I'm eager to see what the future brings in firearms training technology!

Jul 15,2023The CoolFire works as advertised, which is refreshing. And the support is fast and intelligent - I had some setup and use questions that were handled nicely. If you're looking for a more realistic dry fire practice, this is the only option I've found so far. You do have to refill the 'barrel' regularly, but it's a good break to simulate reloading a magazine and to refocus.

Jul 15,2023The feel and fire experience was great. This was a great tool easy to exchange barrels. But the targets were difficult for me to easily identify specificity of shot. I could tell I was on target. So it works great, but won’t replace range time. Additionally, was expecting the co2 charge to last a little longer (clips only last so long as well) but need to work more with this excellent tool.

Jul 15,2023Saw this technology at NRA Annual and was really impressed, but held off making a decision to purchase. Over the next few weeks of dry fire practice with my SIRT pistol (good product) I realized I was not maintaining my grip pressure because there was no reminder to do so. I ordered a Cool Fire Trainer and have been amazed how the recoil it produces “reminds” me to maintain my grip pressure. I also see the advantages of using to train new shooters before they progress to live fire. The other advantages are that it utilizes my pistol, my sights and my trigger. Good stuff and it has really helped me enjoy dry fire practice again!

Sep 06,2023My CK-CKHKVP9 is not working correctly. You will get a few random blowbacks that work as it should, but the rest of the dry fires do not work correctly. There are no attachments, and the weapon is lubricated sufficiently. Attempting to use the website to submit an issue results in the support page just hanging after clicking submit. Sending an email directly to the email address provided on the contact us page did not result in a receipt response. I have uploaded a video and attempted to add the Google drive link, but this site tells me that it does not allow links.
