Jun 25,2024Tried to scam a web design client of ours with the copyrighted image scam... I traced the photo back to one of our stock photo accounts.... I'd bill them for my time but rogue companies like copyrightagent.com are not worth your time

Jun 24,2024Scam. Using a lot of legal lingo to confuse and prey on those not well-versed in law. They couldn't even tell me which image in question was infringing, they could only provide a URL which held multiple images on it (all of which were either fully licensed at the time of publishing or owned). Proving that they trawl websites and mass email in order to find the small minority who will panic. This has no legal grounding. Having read all of their previous replies to these reviews, their strategy is to either a) justify the 'poor' photographers who are so hard done by, when actually their clients are not freelance photographers, or b) to regurgitate the same legal nonsense that they email people in order to sound like they know what they're doing so that others read the reply and think "oh look at all that legal talk, they're legitimate". So when you do the same in your reply this time, citing legislature, know that I have a background in law and I'm afraid it's all total nonsense. It speaks volumes that the COO of this company has written many of these replies. Does that seem normal for a reputable business? No. Scam.

Jun 18,2024Copyright Agent AS seems not to care about the copyright right rules themselves. The company sent an invoice for a photo we had used by mistake in our digital journal. Of course we paid for the use of the picture, but Copyright Agent AS seems not willing to pay for their downloading of the journal. It seems that the copyright only works one way. As you can see they refuse to pay for the downloading of journal by alleging that they did it for the control and that it was free to download. The same could be said about the picture we used by mistake and it does not matter for which purpose you download the journal, what matter is that you download it (consume it). I cannot take a journal in a shop without paying no matter what the purpose with that was.

Versuchen Geld einzutreiben von Bildern, die unser Eigentum darstellen, unser Eigetum sind und von einem von uns bezahlten Fotografen gemacht wurden, der die Bilder Alamy zur Verfügung gestellt hat. Die Firma ist nicht in der Lage, diesen Zusammenhang selbst festzustellen und damit höchst unprofessionell.

Jun 10,2024Jeg er super glad for mit samarbejde med Copyright Agent. Jeg lever at de billeder jeg lægger online, lever af de samarbejder jeg stager dem til, og de folk der besøger min hjemmeside. Derfor er det også virkelig frustrerende, når man ser det ene firma efter det andet, tage ens billeder, og bruge dem - uden overhovedet at have spurgt. Er billederne endda taget til en samarbejdspartnere, er det endnu mere træls, at se dem i andres hænder. Copyright Agent varetager alle sager omkring brud på ophavsret - og jeg værdsætter virkelig vores samarbejde.

Som en liten aktør har ikke jeg mulighet til å scanne markedet selv for å finne aktører som bruker mine bilder og mitt innhold uten lov - og det er nettopp dette Copyright Agent hjelper meg med. Så tusen takk til dem. For det er det samme med digitalt innhold som med fysiske varer, man kan ikke bare ta fra andre.

May 03,2024It's a scam. The C/A -company is using questionable and illegal means to monetise the images. Their practices have no force of law in the EU. If you pay, they will blackmail you again and again with new demands. Don't pay.

Mar 29,2024it's just a scam, but a stupid one, like egg thieves... REMEMBER: THIS IS NOT A LAW OFFICE AND ONLY A COURT CAN IMPOSE YOU A FINE, TO IMPOSE A PAYMENT IT IS NOT ENOUGH TO SEND AN EMAIL. A legal or money request sent with this type of emails that these "copyright agencies" send are as good as spam that promises "hot women just for you near your home" or emails from "African United Nations officials" who want to give you 1 million dollars. If they contact you, NEVER PAY, REPORT TO THE POLICE, or rather than pay the scammers, pay a lawyer. You don't pay ANYTHING, because: THEY have to prove that they are the owners of the rights to the photo, NOT YOU. If I accuse someone of theft, I will be the accuser who will have to prove it IN COURT, I cannot first ask for money and then prove that I was robbed.

Mar 25,2024Agence très douteuse Attention Arnaque Copyright Agent ne fournis aucune preuves de votre culpabilité, elle met une date depuis leur site interne et non sur la capture d'écran en elle même, demandé la capture d'écran certifiée et horodatée ainsi qu'un jugement, Ils sont dans l'obligation de vous envoyer ces documents sinon vous pouvez les laisser aboyer vous ne risquez rien. - Depuis n'ayant toujours pas obtenus les documents demandés j'ai remis la photo en question - Monsieur comme d'habitude vous ne me répondez pas à ma demande de capture horodatée et certifiée vous ne devez pas en avoir en fait et vous jouer sur la menace de mettre les personnes en procès (limite chantage) prouvez moi que vous avez cette capture d'écran certifié et un jugement nous condamnant, à défaut cela reste une escroquerie passible de 375 000 € d'amende, cela fait maintenant plusieurs mois que je vous demande la capture d'écran horodatée et certifiée avec un acte de jugement pour la demande de règlement non justifié , dont vous êtes incapable de nous les fournir, en l'absence de cette preuve vous ne pouvez et ne devez pas demander de règlement à quiconque cela s'appelle une arnaque voir une escroquerie, si vous pensez êtres une agence dans son bon droit merci de me fournir ces Documents, Capture horodatée et certifiée ainsi que le jugement nous ordonnant de vous la somme demandé , en l'occurrence nous n'avons jamais été condamné et n'avons jamais reçu votre capture d'écran horodaté et certifiée, nous avons donc été escroqué par votre entreprise . Je vous ai fournis ce que vous aviez demandé sans réponses de votre part. Agence très, très douteuse, ne livre aucun documents d'un soi-disant atteinte au droit d'auteur, elle pratique le harcèlement par mail, ne vous faites pas avoir par cette agence, c'est une escroquerie pur et simple, elle n'a aucune valeur, il ne donne aucune preuve qu'ils existent réellement et ne vous fournirons en aucun cas la preuve de votre incrimination car il n'ont rien de rien, ah si juste une capture d'écran que l'on peut aisément falsifier soi-même avec une dates qui ne correspond à rien : attention au pdf que cette société vous envoie, elle sont peut-être aussi vérolé nous bloquons tous type de fichiers pdf ou autre pour éviter virus ou cheval de Troie, nous demandons une facture par courrier qu'elle ne veut ou ne peut pas nous fournir. Attention menace de nous passé en juridique sans même en apporter la preuve de l'accusation, juste une capture d'écran qui est falsifiable à volonté celle ci de démontre rien , elle ne fais voir qu'une image que l'on peut trafiquer aisément. Mar 16,2024This organization sent threatening letters regarding the use of a photo I licensed through one of the leading stock photo licensing organizations. The website for my "case" expresses a desire to "resolve" the case, but the only way one can do so is by making payment. There is no inquiry about whether I hold a license for the asset, or no process to engage them in actual dialogue. In addition, their evidence that they are authorized to support the "owner" of the asset is a brief boilerplate form that makes no reference to the specific asset in question. Finally, I went to the purported owner's website - another stock photo licensing company - and reverse image search and searching on obvious visual terms couldn't find the image in question. It's questionable whether they actually represent the named copyright owner. It's questionable whether that owner actually owns the photo. It's questionable whether they have any interest in resolving this matter in any reasonable way.

Jul 06,2024I understand that I have been using a picture with copyright and because I really hate when other persons are cheating, I am really sorry that I did exactly the same but without knowing that I did something illegal. This is why I give 4 stars, hoping that you will send most of the money to Scan Pix, the company, who obviously has the copyright to the picture. However my business is a very small one person company with a very low budget so this is very expensive for me. So I will pay for being careless, but I will also hold back one star because of the price. A warning would have been appreciated instead.
