Sep 07,2023Horrible experience, i will never order from them again. After paying $30!! for shipping, which is the highest shipping cost i ever paid for any online delivery, it still took almost 3!! Weeks for the order to arrive. After choosing Canada Post as the shipping method, i was surprised to learn that the product is shipped from the US, absolutely nothing indicated that the order would come from outside canada and i would have never ordered if i would have known. After contacting customer service, absolutely nothing happened, not even an apology. Stop deceiving your customers, if you already want to use shipping as a cash grab by charging 3x what the shipping actually costs, at least have normal online delivery times of maximum 3-5 buisiness days.

Aug 20,2023I was shocked at the amount of plastic wrapping & tape used along with a box that was far too big for the products. Please address this urgently as I will not purchase any more product from you until I have some assurance that you are reviewing your packaging options. In response to your reply, maybe you need to re-assess who you use as 3rd party fulfillment companies to ensure they are environmentally aware & use appropriate packaging.

Aug 04,2023So great to find an alternative provider of this bare minerals product. I often get stuck trying to source from Mecca so will continue to buy from here from now on. The delivery time was approx 10 days from Australia to NZ so as expected. Tracking notifications take a while to take effect from confirmation time so just need to be patient when they come back without any info on delivery status

Jul 24,2023I ordered 3x Demeter 10ml perfume roll-ons (Gingerbread, Pumpkin Pie, and Hawaiian Vanilla). Each perfume roll-on was individually bubble wrapped, and all 3x 10ml roll on's were wrapped in a larger bubble wrap, inside a perfectly sized cardboard parcel. It took 2 weeks / 14 days (10 working days total) to arrive, and my notification email said that it would take 7-10 working days, so that was expected, going from their nearest warehouse, to where I am in New Zealand. The parcel arrived without any damage, and I was very happy with the perfume roll on scents. I like the huge range of Demeter products that cosmeticsnow.nz has, and I like that they cater to so many different tastes/scents that you don't typically find elsewhere (food and citrus based scents, specifically). I prefer food and citrus based scents because I sneeze with a lot of synthetic cologne's and musky/woody/spicy scents, so it was neat that cosmeticsnow.nz has a really nice range of Demeter products that cater for people like me who prefer those different scents.

And I never receive it and they never helped me from logistics problem even it is clearly their responsibility as business. *update: just got refunded after this trustpilot review. It seems the customer service is very poor unless you have bad comment on Trustpilot. Before this comment, I tried to communicate in reasonable way many times but they are just giving me very unrelated answer like a robot or not answering my question. To conclude, maybe they are not scammers BUT the CS team service is POOR. And please stop emailing me to tell me to edit my comment.

Jul 14,2023Ordered shampoo and conditioner from this company and paid for express delivery with a courier and I am still waiting almost a month later. It would have been faster from international. Responses from my queries, have been in broken English and asking for my time. I choose this company because of the delivery and dispatch times given on their site, they were not the cheapest. Finally it says my order has been dispatched but to Australia Post, not through the couriers that I paid extra for.
