We would like to congratulate Cox & Kings on putting together a really enjoyable tour of Sri Lanka. It was nicely varied, with visits to temples (but not too many) combined with gardens, wildlife, elephants and a train ride. All the hotels were 4/5 star and were very varied and in some interesting places, finishing up with two-nights with a well-earned rest in a hotel right on the beach. This was our first holiday with you and we will definitely book again.
Our trip to Patagonia was absolutely breathtaking! Everything was flawlessly organized – from stunning hotels to incredible guided tours. Chile left us speechless with its dramatic landscapes, outstanding accommodations, and top-notch cuisine. The guides were knowledgeable and made every excursion unforgettable! Argentina and Brazil exceeded all our expectations! A special mention to Gran Meliá Hotel – the view from and swimming pool were simply spectacular, the food was world-class, and the service was impeccable. Fairmont Hotel had the best location imaginable, making our stay even more special. Thank you Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and it was truly the trip of a lifetime, all thanks to Cox and Kings . We highly recommend their services—100%! Without a doubt, we will be booking with them again. We are giving 10 out of 10 for what you have done for us Thank you for an unforgettable experience! PS Thank you you to Ewa We would like to sincerely thank you for all the time and effort you dedicated to us before we booked our vacation. Your guidance and the valuable information you shared made the entire process so much easier and stress-free. We truly appreciate your prompt and detailed responses to our emails – your professionalism and efficiency did not go unnoticed! Thanks to you, we felt well-informed and confident in our choices. We are incredibly grateful for your support and look forward to planning our next adventure with you! Very best wishes Iwona & Mariusz
This was a very well organised excellent trip through what are undoubtedly the splendours of South America! Our first impressions were very disappointing with a very poor hotel and dinner in Santiago ( not the best way to make a first impression for new customers!) with a first time guide too who did not know how to do a group check in at the airport. After that it was truly amazing ; we experienced great organisation, knowledgeable and responsive guides and some beautiful hotels and places. Inevitably there are some long travel days but they are soon forgotten as the next amazing experience follows! Patagonia, Rio and Iguazu were the highlights for us; we are very glad we joined this tour with a very companionable group of travellers. You need some stamina and to be reasonably fit for this tour. It was very hot and humid in the cities and Iguazu when we were there, and cool in Patagonia but with no rain we really could not complain about the climate! We were quite happy with the mix of organised and free time but once again a muddle in Santiago over an optional tour was not great! We only had two group dinners and we were very happy to be independent in the evenings. The guides could be more proactive in suggesting eating places near the hotels ( when relevant) . These are small matters however and overall we were very happy and thought the tour great value for money. I heard some "rumours" whilst we were there about "down specs" to one or two hotels based on room rates. My advice to Cox and Kings is to be cautious about that especially in Rio!
The tour (Splendours of Cuba) gave us a good insight into the country. Our guide was knowledgeable, funny and helpful. All hotels were good and in great locations. All hotels managed to have a good selection of food available despite the shortages in the country and managed the power cuts (which were often almost continuous) very well – we had no problems. Transport was good and our driver was friendly and safe. We had good customer service from Cox and Kings throughout.
It’s difficult to give a full review of the service, given that we have booked in January for a holiday in December. We were looking for a suitable celebration of our 30th wedding anniversary, thirty years that has included a fair bit of travel and Patagonia seemed a good choice. Finding a holiday that fully reflected our aspirations was the challenge, one which Cox and Kings’ Patagonia: Untouched Wilderness tour addressed, and some. The process was very straightforward. It’s quite unusual for us to do a tour, we usually book our own flights, accommodation, transport etc, but an organised tour with a small group makes sense in such a huge country. We are really looking forward to it.
• Many days were spent just traveling between cities via air – please consider adding a couple of more days for the vacation to compensate for the days lost in travel. • The hotel in Torres del Paine National Park did not meet the high standards of Cox and Kings • Add a Goodbye Dinner at the end of the trip – We only had a Fairwell Drink. Should be more for spending almost 14 days – 24/7 with the same people. • Add more included dinners to the trip, many evenings the group was left to our own devices.
Bianca was very helpful regarding our trip. Bianca talked to us about the trip, our requested extras & our passport validity. Beyond the expected.
Throughly enjoyable trip covering Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls and Rio. Small pleasant group, some fantastic sights and everything ran smoothly. Good balance between "free" time and organised excursions.
I knew where I wanted to go and I found the booking process easy and trouble free. Neil Davis was very helpful and pleasant.
Very helpful especially as I initially made an error regarding my flights and this was rectified when I called.
A recent trip to Costa Rica was a real delight. Under the care of an Excellent guide, providing not only comprehensive information about the wildlife but also an insight into the real Costa Rica. The hotels were well chosen for comfort and variety. The trip included a range of excursions which kept the group busy. The tour included a family, couples and solo travellers. The trip was well organised with good information to prepare in advance of travel. Very good value for the cost and I would travel again with Cox & Kings
Overall, I would rate this tour as one of best I’ve been on (8th). And would rate it 10/10, with the only proviso being the guest has to have a moderate level of fitness. We were blessed with good weather throughout, which often meant very hot/humid. As one or two in group had difficulty with hilly trails the guide chose easier ones (good for him as we still saw a cross section of wildlife, birds, reptiles, flora and fauna). The guide, Jorge, was very good and flexible when offering options, The driver Stefan was very safe and courteous. Food, without exception was excellent and good choices (often buffet for b/fast and lunch but menu available for evening) – also good range of drinks available. Service at every stop was always helpful and with a smile. Tour is based on eco-system etc so in CR lodges will be in hotel grounds (outdoor walk to your cabin) but only to be expected – iguana in dining room, coatimundi on your patio, insect spray needed in evening. We are wildlife tourists! I flew out from London with KLM out and AirFrance back. The other guests were very critical of route using United Airways (2 were sick after in-flight meal) .
I have used C&K in the past and was extremely satisfied with their product and support. Therefore, I booked with them again. Once again their friendly and professional staff have been a pleasure to deal with. I feel sure, based on previous experience, the holiday will be excellent at a reasonable price!
Solid, experienced team with meticuluos backoffice prep work and bookings. Timely and reliable logistics on the ground. Choice of hotels is one area of improvement but overall had a good trip with them in Panama and Costa Rica. Especially the tour guide and the driver in Costa Rica were top notch, we couldn't have asked for a better duo.
Sher was very friendly and helpful
Well conceived tour. The scope and pace of itinerary was nicely judged. Wonderful country and outstanding guide/tour manager.
We had a wonderful escorted tour of Rajasthan that far exceeded our expectations. The level of organisation was second to none and we felt very well looked after both before the trip and throughout
Just returned from a cracking tour of South America organised by Cox & Kings. A neatly-paced, small group canter around Chile, Argentina and Brazil, taking in all the important sights at the end of the world and one of the seven wonders of the world. Transportation, hospitality and guiding all smooth and effective. Indeed a couple of the guides were truly world class. One hotel was below par, but the 6 others more than made up for it.
Great tour , well planned and organised well worth a visit. Top class Tour manager in Sandra if you have her on your tour you will be looked after from start to finish, she made the tour go smoothly all flight/hotel/trip bookings all taken care of before hand.

Mar 04,2025My husband & I have just returned (18th January to 4th February 2025) from a trip to Patagonia with a 2 nights Iguazu Falls extension with Cox and Kings. My initial enquiry, booking, payments etc. were all dealt with promptly and accurately by the Administrative team. Final details of the holiday including the flights etc. were emailed well in advance which was very helpful. Our holiday was wonderful - thanks to our excellent tour manager Sandra & the local guides who were there to receive us at various places during our trip. The local transportation was comfortable and clean. All the hotels were good and most were centrally located which allowed us to walk around town. The included meals (including the packed lunch) were excellent. We were lucky to enjoy excellent weather throughout the tour. All our five flights were on time - which also helped.
