Mar 22,2019Our month trip to India was fabulous Cox and kings took care of everything our drivers guides etc were all superb A minor blip with a hotel was dealt with in exemplary fashion ( thank you for the leela palace ) cannot fault them in any way and we had a very intense itinerary ! We were escorted to hotels, trains , airports etc we did not have to think ! So relaxing I would recommend them without hesitation

Mar 13,2019Have just returned from a tour of Sri Lanka. Before leaving paperwork was not good from your offices in GB to the extent we had to ask our agent to acquire it for us. As the group tour was full we opted to have a private tour folliwing the same itinary. We had no problem at all with our independent tour guide/driver. He took us everywhere we expected to go and added a few extras of his own choosing. However the group's guide was initially quite aggressive towards us. We sat seperately for several evening meals until a sudden change when we were invited to join the group for a pre meal drink and ultimately were allowed to join them for a meal. As we generally arrived at the hotels ahead of the main group it soon became apparent that the hotels regarded us as part of the main group for administration, allocation of rooms and seating at mealtimes and wake up calls. It really was not at all nice to be treated so badly by the groups guide in our first few days in Sri Lanka and this tainted the rating I gave you. It certainly spoilt elements of the holiday.

Feb 19,2019In the last 10years we've enjoyed Argentine, Chile, Costa Rica, Japan and other locations, with impeccable comfort and safety and, might I add, a certain style. In Costa Rica we got an early morning phone call from C&K London asking if we were OK! There'd been a hefty earthquake during the night which had been world news - and we'd slept through it! In May C&K are taking us to Morocco..can't wait!

Feb 18,2019Numerous repeated errors in our itinerary (incorrect nights in hotels, missing meal arrangements, transfers on wrong dates) meant that our booking was delayed and delayed until we completely lost confidence that our flights, tour accommodation and transfers would be booked correctly. I was working harder than them at checking and revealing errors. It’s a basic to expectation that a tour company should do this accurately. I fully intended to book with Cox and Kings but given this experience and their slow booking service meant that I contacted another agent. Cox and Kings said they could take my deposit on a Saturday but wouldn’t process anything till Monday then would take up to a further 4 days because ‘hotel don’t take reservations at weekends’ (Alice) and ‘because of the time difference’ (Phil). In absolute frustration I rang Dial-a-Flight (found them through trustpilot) and discussed my planned itinerary. They were so efficient and professional! They booked the same flights, accommodation, transfers and added better trips. Within no time everything was confirmed and they did all this, just saying, at 10% cheaper and with 100% accuracy. Hope you find this honest review helpful and that they take on board these comments.
