Efficient, knowledgeable, very pleasant to work with!
Cultural Care is great about offering as much, or as little, support as a family needs to find and match with the perfect au pair. This is our 4th time working with them and we have enjoyed our experiences throughout. Our local childcare consultant has also been great - very informative and supportive.
Cultural Care Au Pair makes the process of finding an au pair for our family a seamless one! Their website works well and has helpful filters when starting your search. We have been using them for 5 years now!
They could do better in making sure that aupairs have something to do besides work. Having friends, activities … the aupair meetings once a months aren’t cutting it tbh. And when you’re so far away from your family a “work-life-balance” and friends are very important.
My family is really nice. I feel so comfortable, I love taking care of the kids and I already have really good friends.
Been here for 3 months and it's been the best 3 months of my life with homesickness and all I overcome that . The host family has been made me feel so comfortable in many ways I have a good understanding and relationship with them and I adore the kids so much . America has been great for me it took some time for my to adjust to the food and the weather but it's been wonderful!!
I think that this week payment is a shame, it’s a long work journey for a small payment, it’s not fair!!
My local care connect rep is amazing. The process was clunky to get this far. Lots of hand offs to different people in different phases of the process, constant text messages and emails. Additionally, I requested a super check list many times and I am positive one does not exist. Our match coordinator continually called me despite asking them to communicate with myself and my partner. We are now getting text messages and emails that we have late balances when we just matched in the system yesterday. It often felt like the match coordinator was getting a commission as she pushed us to match faster than we were comfortable.
I feel very good with my family and I'm having a good experience here
Our local LCC has been SO helpful and responsive. Really helped us navigate a process that was new to us and gave great guidance. The whole process is so well thought-out and streamlined. Highly recommend! I do wish there were some additional filters when searching for au pairs that could help narrow down the candidates.
We have appreciated the support and information provided.
Everyone was very responsive and shared step by step expectations during our rematch process.
Thank you, we would highly reccomend.
Luciana was wonderful as a our matching specialist and we were so grateful to match with our au pair quickly and easily! Such a great agency for a family that is new to this process.
This experience is amazing
We recently matched with a new au pair and after the matching occurred the matching specialist informed me that because our au pair has a bit more limited English there is a chance her visa will not be approved. She also said that I should be spending additional time with my au pair on video calls to teach her English. I was very surprised to learn this. Had I known there was a risk of visas not being approved I would have potentially gone about selecting an au pair differently. My entire family was involved in this process and our timeline is tight for the au pair's arrival - leaving us little time to re-match with someone else. Plus my kids will be affected if this person is not the one that arrives b/c they are also invested. In addition my husband and I work full time and have 2 young children so we don't have time to "teach" someone English over video calls, especially when there is a significant time difference. We plan to stay in touch with the au pair and communicate frequently before arrival of course, but the added stress of teaching her English to improve the chances of her visa being approved was something that was extremely surprising and felt very out of touch with the realities of life.
Although it took us several months to find a match with an au pair, Cultural Care made sure to connect with us personally multiple times to check in, give us advice, and generally keep us encouraged as we navigated the process. We are also pleased with the local coordinator who puts a lot of work into ensuring host families and au pairs in the area are supported. Nice to have real faces and names to put to the agency when help is needed.
Ease of process! So easy
never again!! terrible agency!! other agencies are able to pay for your tickets if you leave home earlier. I have a very serious reason why I'm leaving early and they didn't pay for my ticket. they behave disgustingly without empathy

Feb 25,2024We got our Au Pair via Cultural Care Au Pair and very happy. Good website to do very specific search with many filters by age, languages, experience, country etc. our LCC Callie is fantastic. Seems like efficient operations with low overheads.
