Maria was an amazing interviewer. She was so kind and thorough.
Very responsive. Very straight forward and very pleasant to interact with.
Au pair search process is greatly improved. Staff are supportive. Lack of an arrival destination close to our city continues to be a big point of friction with the program.
We had no issues with our first year. Cultural Care made everything smooth in our experience. Ultimately, the fees feel really high but they are the only ones who service our area so it is what it is.
Our matching specialist, Mia has been great!
Culrural Care is the worst of the worst, the lowest of the low. Our nearly 2 year experience using them as an agency has been atrocious from the start, and looking back I should have run away. The first AP I hired quit before she even started. She was fired by her previous hosts for violating the terms of her visa and openly working at a restaurant, all of which CC knew. The LCCs lied and told me a different story. I hired her, and then 1 day before she was supposed to start, she called and told me that the LCC, Janelle Perez, had encouraged her to break her contract with me and go work for Janelle's friends instead. Turns out Janelle is a former cop, fired for sexual misconduct, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised that she has no ethics at all. My second AP arrived deeply traumatized by her prior 3 months with a host family who forced her to work 55 hour weeks, and who defrauded her of pay. CC knew about that family's violations of regulations, but did nothing to kick them out of the program and protect my AP. Over the last 2 years we have had 3 different LCCs, who have failed to check in as required by the State Department, and who regularly ignore massive violations of program rules by other host families in our area. And now that our time is almost done, I find out that CC does not actually fly the AP to her home city, as agreed to and paid for by me. Instead they only agree to dump her in a random city in her country, over 1000 miles from her home, with no assistance for actually getting home safely. I cannot stress enough how badly my AP has been treated at every turn by CC. I would never pay them a dime again, and I strongly encourage everyone to stay far away from them.
Bonne agence, ma LCC était absente mais heureusement j’avais une super famille. Un peu cher mais l’assurance est vraiment top ! J’ai du aller chez le docteur plusieurs fois et ça a toujours été pris en charge.
Extremely responsive and proactive local rep, very helpful website/database with lots of information about the au pair candidates. Very pleased with the ease and timeliness of the process of finding our au pair!
Very happy with cultural care so far! Have gotten loads of support and terrific advice and guidance throughout the process.
My care specialist along with my match specialist really helped me through the entire process and made it very easy to pick an Au Pair that fits with me and my family.
We’ve always had a fantastic experience with Cultural Care for childcare.
Concerning vetting process. I recently had a traumatic experience where an au pair turned out to be lying for 10 months, scammed us out of some money and brought a person around our home with a history of violence (we even called the police) and this was after she was told not to do that. Despite this horrific experience, Cultural Care initially completely whitewashed the story and reduced it down to "behavior" on her transition documents and they rematched her, even though she lied to us, the LCC and Cultural Care - we had photos, texts, witnesses and videos confirming our side of the story (aka the truth). Aside from us being victims, the Cultural Care LCC consistently undermined the truth, putting us in a position where we (and our 2nd au pair) had to defend ourselves. This forced us to relive the trauma weeks past when it occurred and made it clear that LCC's don't seem to have any training in conflict resolution. They also seem to pick favorites in terms of favoring one au pair over the other, because this had initially all come to light because of the report of an au pair who was concerned for us as a family and her friend. Ultimately the au pair did horrific things but the family paid the price. There was zero accountability other than a rematch.
Team members (local advisor and matching specialist) are on top of their game. Very professional and get things done
My host family is the best!!
Although I've been working with Cultural Care for over 6 years, I'm always pleased with the ease of the platform and the folks working at CC. Our LCC (Kassi) is incredible and always available. Thanks!
Cultural Care is very provides a good support service to au pairs. They are always attentive to any concerns or requests that we have.
It is really well organized and I am really grateful for all the help you bring us
The agency was very helpful, getting my visa and also getting ready to depart
All, I’m really happy isn’t easy but is amazing
