On 11/15/18 I placed an order a Platypod Pro Max, €99.99 I also paid €20 for Saturday shipping. We were visiting the UK from the US and I paid the excess Saturday delivery fee to have the item shipped to the hotel we were staying out. We checked out Sunday morning and the item was still not there. It did arrive later in the day on Sunday causing me to backtrack to the hotel to pick up the item. This caused me to lose time and money. I contacted Dale Photographic and asked that the €20 be refunded as my item did not arrive as promised and paid for. The first response was that they were trying to get a reason from the carrier about "about why it was not delivered on the day that they guaranteed it" Two weeks later, hearing nothing from them, I wrote and told them the reason for the lateness did not matter and that I had paid for a service I had not received. I indicated I would take it up with my credit card company. Aran replied on Dec 12 "I have passed this on to the management here for them to chase up for you. I have asked them to make sure that the refund is processed. Dealing with this delivery company when something has gone wrong at their end is not the simplest or fastest task." It is now Jan 1 and I have still heard nothing from this company nor have I received a credit for the Saturday shipping that did not happen. UPDATE: After seeing this review Aran from Dale Photographic contacted me. He checked into the issue and saw that the refund had not been issued. He emailed me the reason why it had not (serious illness of the owner of this small family run business compounded with the holidays) and issued it himself and I did receive the credit thru Paypal. For his efforts I am changing my review from 1 to 5 stars. Being a citizen of the US who was only in Europe for vacation, it would have been easy to write me off but Aran did not and that is greatly appreciated and should show others the commitment to service this company has. Would not hesitate to do business with them again.

I ordered an off camera flash system for my Fuji film XT2. Dale’s price was the best I could find and the service I received from them was exceptional. The items were delivered promptly and worked beautifully wrapped to protect them. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dale photographic services.

Easy to order, fast delivery and great (safe) packaging. No idea if the product itself is any good as it’s Christmas present. Photography is not my thing, but ir’s What he asked for and what he’s getting!! Merry Christmas!
