I ordered just before Easter and Tom called me to let me know that as DHL had advised a longer shipping over the holiday period, he didnt want to send and find that the venison was left in the warehouse. Goods delivered in the two days after Easter all in great condition. Always impressed with the quality from Deerbox

Apr 07,2024Dispatches product well packaged and insulated for the journey. Anticipated courier delays are well covered with the frozen vacuum sealed products maintaining their quality. Cooked the sausages first and the recipe flavours were rich and more than what I expected. Great value for money but don't expect a comparison in prices with supermarkets as you won't get some of the cuts on their shelves. Very complete with instructions on how to store and cook your purchases with plenty to read on their website. Online recipes in abundance. Comms were excellent if you have a problem and essential for maintaining a loyal customer base. I've always been a fan of wild venison and every gamey prey on the planet, probably just the survivalist in me! However, best get the professionals to do the butchering coz out in the wilds is a thing of the past with all those environmentalists, vegetarians, animal activists and Bambi movie lovers seeking you out even if your kill is legal!! As the government's concerns over deer numbers increases, I hope they don't waste the meat and allow reputable distributors such as Deer Box to deal with the volumes of a cull to help bring the price down of this meat that has a reputation of being exclusive to the upper realms of society when in fact it is there, from Deer Box, readily available to be enjoyed by all !!!
