Oct 14,2023All the meat in the wild deer box was delicious and of excellent quality. It came very well packaged and still completely frozen as promised. I really appreciate being able to eat meat that has not needed environmentally expensive resources for its production. It is also good that it helps to control the numbers of the wild deer population.

Sep 30,2023This has to be the best way to eat meat sustainably. As a family we have been pescatarian for a couple of years for ethical and environmental reasons, but we struggled to ensure we replaced the nutrients and mineral benefits you get from occasional red meat, especially for growing teenagers playing a lot of sport. So we now have one venison meal a week and no other meat. We know where the meat is from, how it is killed and what life the deer had previously (not intensively farmed, but completely wild). Also the deer population needs managing in the UK for environmental reasons (search Scottish Cairngorms rewilding and the effect deer have on new saplings). Deer box isn't actually as expensive as you would think, and you get generous portions for each meal, with a wide selection of cuts. Good recipe cards come with it, plus more online. It's extremely well packaged for delivery with ice packs and recyclable packaging. The more people that buy this venison in UK, means less exported to the continent, again with environmental benefits. The meat is very tasty. Also impressed with the level of service I received with 2 phonecalls from their staff to answer my questions and check I was happy with what I had received. I would highly recommend.

Sep 27,2023Fantastic quality meat which is delivered in a well packaged box remaining cold. Tried the steaks first and was impressed with everything from the standard of the butchery through to the final bite. Huge sausages, big burgers and (yet to be tasted) amazing looking kofta. Will not hesitate to recommend to friends and family or purchase again for my house.
