Jul 26,2023The meat arrived at the time predicted and in excellent condition. Well protected and still frozen. The meat looks good - we’ve only tasted the sausages and a burger so far. I’m not much of a meat eater although my husband enjoys it. The fact it’s genuinely free range and healthy makes it acceptable to me! So far so good. Great idea.

Jul 20,2023I ordered the wild deer box and added some boar steaks. You get a lot for the price, well packaged. Easy to put straight in the freezer and defrost when needed. We’re still working through it, so can’t comment on everything yet, but the venison burgers and pave steaks are delicious and high quality. The website and ordering process is well designed with lots of options and information. I like the way that in addition to one-off orders, you can set up regular deliveries from monthly to quarterly to suit your needs. I will be ordering again.

I purchased the lean fitness / protein box along with a tenderloin - the delivery was on time, efficient, excellently packaged and the contents were all frozen. The meat (so far tasted the loin, sausages, burgers) is exceptional - lean, moist but not oily, beautifully flavoured. And to think this is meat you can eat guilt free - completely sustainable. I can't recommend this company enough.

Jul 18,2023First of all I would like to say that Deer Box Ltd is run very efficiently, the packaging is great as is the postage charge for a heavy box. My only gripe is with the 2nd grade venison mince for pets. It is far too fatty to be healthy as an addition to any dog's diet. I have to cook the mince, drain it into a colander and then drain again on thicknesses of kitchen roll. Even then the meat is pretty greasy. I can appreciate that you are using up waste products but less fat included would be appreciated.

Arrived within 48 hours of ordering, came packaged with incredible care including freezer blocks and a pure wool membrane! Everything's perfectly individually vacuum packed. The meat looks perfect. Also got free recipe cards and mince for my dog. Will be ordering again and a regular customer. Thank you to this fabulous team at Deer Box.
