All was going okay apart from a few dud smoke grenades & some guns constantly jamming which were changed the next game. Until the afternoon games started and in one of the games a group of boys on the opposing side started causing trouble. One of them in particular insulted my Father for shooting him and threatened him saying he would smash his face in, he used foul language whilst threatening him also. The same boy threatened and swore at my younger brother after he was already out of the game and continued to fire at him whilst he was walking away and also threatened him. The Marshalls after noticing this stopped the game and called people back to base camp, as when the boy was swearing and threatening people, his friends also got involved. As you can imagine after 2 of our party being swore at and threatened really spoiled the experience and made us not want to return out against the same people, as we felt threatened and intimidated. We told the Marshalls and Chris the manager we would not be returning out as we were concerned about the safety of our party members especially as we are all family. We had 700 paintball tubes (£10 pounds each) left and asked Chris for a refund on them. To this I feel very aggrieved and upset as my Father had just spent £360 for 4 black ops packages as well as the tickets for the day. All we requested was for a refund of £70 for the paintballs not used. I know their policies and find it disgusting that this was not offered to us after purchasing the tickets and 4 black ops packages at £90 each. As you can understand we were not even asking for the cost of one of those packages to be refunded. Plus our experience was ruined and we did not even get the full experience with having to leave early after this. It was also my son's Birthday as that was the reason we were there, again ruined because of what happened. The manager Chris explained what happened to a team leader on the telephone. I believe her name was Lisa. She did not want to hear what we had to say and did not want to speak to us according to Chris. We are shocked and appalled that this could happen and they were not willing to listen to how upset and threatened we felt as clearly they didn't care as they already had our money. I emailed my complaint & they are still yet to reply?
We had our sons 10th birthday party here, 12 children 7 boys and 5 girls aged between 7-13 plus 4 adults to supervise. It was brilliant and very well organised with safety being the biggest priority! We all had a fantastic day.
Was a let down and was left with 15 ores kids after 5 mins and very unhappy birthday boy - completely overpriced for what you get ... and don’t get me started on the party package. Don’t waste your money - get a load of paint balls and take them to the park yourself.
So when you book, you are getting 100 paintballs each, and paying £11 for a small pizza. No one tells you, despite many emails from the company since booking that 100 paintballs is not enough. No, when u arrive with 6 expectant 10 year olds that’s when you get the hard sell and they tell you if you don’t want to run out you’ll definitely need another 2000 balls at a cost of £140!!!! Edit re reply below: I was texted to see if I wanted to add an extra player with 100 paintballs for £5. I called to add the player and asked if I could also add a pizza for him. I was charged £16. That makes the pizza £11. At no point during booking or in follow up emails did anyone advise me that 100 paintballs would not be any where near enough.
Booked for 20 players at the Tunbridge Wells site for 13th July 2019. Massively overbooked. 250 players at a site with a capacity of 150! Marshals did their level best, but were totally unable to cope with the numbers. This was absolutely not the fault of the Marshals but completely down to the bookings team hugely oversubscribing the day. As you will see from the emailed response below, the Marshals are going to get the blame from Delta Force, but definitely not from me or my party. After outlining the problems on the day by phone, I received this emailed response. Dear Mark Thanks for your feedback regarding your experience at our Tunbridge Wells paintball centre. It’s always an absolute pleasure to hear back from our customers. Our company mission is to provide the ultimate paintball experience to each and every one of our valued customers, and your feedback can only help us work towards this goal. I have passed your comments on to the regional manager about the registration process in the morning, to see how we can improve to ensure that it is more organised to ensure everyone eases into to the day smoothly. I will pass your feedback on to the centre manager and have him arrange a meeting with all marshals. I am saddened to hear you felt that this incident ruined your whole experience. Our marshals go through training on a weekly basis to ensure they are up to date with the rules and how to manage various situations. It’s not the usual feedback we get about the marshals, as we have a high standard of customer service, and would like to make sure that it remains this way. I have also addressed the situation with the regional manager and he has assured me he will be going down to the centre, to evaluate the marshals in question and to take the necessary steps to deal with the marshals, to avoid an incident such as this from taking place in the future. As a gesture of goodwill I have arranged for 10 FREE places including entrance, equipment, safety gear and 100 paintballs each to your profile 11852489 for you, your friends and family to enjoy on their next visit. These FREE places can be booked at any of our national paintball venues and you will be entitled to enjoy a full day of paintball action! Please contact me on 0208 629 0865 or email me to make your next booking and I will make sure that you are to be afforded first class treatment to ensure your group have a fantastic day. Once again thank you for visiting Delta Force - we look forward to seeing you down at a centre soon. Kind Regards, Customer Service Manager Delta Force Paintball 0208 629 0865 The email above does not deal with all the issues I raised, so I responded with this Good Afternoon, Many thanks for your email. I find your response a little inadequate, I'm afraid. I will deal with the objections I raised one by one. 1) The day was massively overbooked. We were advised (by your own people) that the capacity for this facility is 150, yet there were approximately 250 players there on the day. Given that this was the situation, perhaps you could explain why you sent me a text message at 12.03 on Thursday 11th July from phone number XXXXX XXXXXX (Phone Number Removed From Review Due To Data Protection Regulations) advising me that there were still spaces available and giving me until 6.00 the following day to add more players at a special rate? As a result of this overcrowding, the car park was completely inadequate and the Marshals had absolutely no chance of resolving the overcrowding. Not their fault, but the tone of your email suggests to me that the Marshals are going to get the blame for this whole sorry episode, whereas the fault lies in your booking department trying to get a quart into a pint pot! Also, as a result of overbooking, there was not enough kit to go round, which brings us to my next point. 2) The itinerary states 12 - 14 games (half in the morning, half in the afternoon) each pair of games lasting 30 - 45 minutes. Our first game was scheduled in your itinerary to start at 10.15, it actually started at 11.45! Also, we had 2 games in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. My arithmetic tells me that's 5 and not 12 - 14. Maybe if there had been 150 players and not 250........? 3) Lunch Break. Didn't really happen, but that's probably just as well as the queue to order lunch was so long (about an hour and a half waiting time due to the overbooking) that we didn't bother. 4) Every 2 games should last 30 - 45 minutes. Our first game in the afternoon lasted 5 minutes and was abandoned because the Marshal completely lost control. He advised our group that it was his first day. Maybe your training could do with a bit of improvement. 5) Results Ceremony. Never happened. 6) Final game, Zombie Infection. As time was now getting on, we were advised that this would be the last game of the day, so we should use up our remaining ammunition. The game itself was just a complete free-for-all with no organisation, which may or may not be what you intended, I don't know. Following this, we were then offered a further 2 games which would have been okay except we had used up all our ammunition as advised by the Marshals and you were apparently unable to provide us with free ammunition for the 'extra' games. Firstly, they weren't 'extra' games as we had still only had 5 (including the 5 minute debacle) so these 2 would have brought us up to 7, still 5 short of the 12 in your itinerary. Secondly, I feel this was just a ploy to try and squeeze another two or three hundred pounds out of us for more ammunition. While the majority of the gameplay was enjoyable, and we all had a good day, we simply did not get what we had paid for. I appreciate the offer of 10 free places, but we were a group of 20, all of whom have paid for services they didn't receive. As I said on the phone, I do not think it unreasonable to expect another session for all 20 players free of charge or I expect a 50% refund. I await your prompt reply. Yours Sincerely This was on the 19th of July. Since then, I have sent a further 4 emails and have heard nothing. Yesterday (31st July) I rang again. Amazingly, every single Manager that could have helped was at lunch at 3.45pm and there was absolutely nobody that could help me. The young lady that I was speaking to said she would email Customer Service Manager X (Name Removed Due To Data Protection Regulations) and make sure she called me back. I asked the young lady to copy me in on this email, but she didn't, so as X STILL hasn't phoned me at 2.37pm the following day, I assume that this email was never sent. I'm still waiting and I'm not going away. Please don't bother putting up your standard response to poor reviews asking me to call you. I've spent quite enough of my time ringing you so you can ring me.
Where do I begin with this review.. I’ll start with the good Went here today with a few mates of mine. Wasn’t too bad of an experience as we all was new players we don’t know much or well anything about the sport, everything about the day and the games/rounds was grate and good fun and made some new friends as the day went on. Honestly you’ll have fun at this place. There was also Free coffee and tea provided at this place so if your needing your coffee or tea fix in the morning or so there’s that Bad points. The people who ran the games/venue was bad they didn’t seem to know what they was talking about. So many rules was broken and they didn’t even stop the game or say anything about it, reported to one of the hosts about someone but I got told nothing could be done about it. Yet I was shot in the arm at point blank three times and he let the game carry on. The guns.. didn’t even seem like they was working half the time and the helmets they provided was useless within 5 minutes of wearing it you couldn’t see more than five feet in frount if you and as the games went on it got worse and worse at one point for three of us had to sit at our spawning area just because I couldn’t see a thing. Prices: over the top prices for what you get a pound just for a can of coke or so. 2.75 just for some cheap budget noodles, there was a pizza deal that was around 5.50 for a small cheese only pizza (only size available), Everything else besides food and drink was understandable and reasonable so I’m talking about the upgraded gun, paintballs and what have you (depending on the upgrade you go for) Over all: It’s a fun day out honestly I would go again and recommend it to anyone, prices are a little too much if you ask me, some guns need a little fixing up/upgrade. Staff need to seem to know what they are doing and care about the players along with sticking to there own rules and then not be rude about it.
Played at the cobham site this weekend, had an amazing experience. The manager was nice, my group had pizzas, which they loved, and I got to shoot my dad in the back!!
Our day was really good. Staff were helpful and the activity's were fun and well organized. Unfortunately the let down came afterwards. All members suffered a really bad reaction to the overalls provided by the company. The following morning the kids and two adults woke up with a rash, lumpy skin that looked like bit marks and were inchy as hell. Im not sure how they clean the body guard and overalls or what they use. Unfortunately the itchiness is so severer two days on that the kids had to be of school ill. I would be interested to know if any other group experienced the same. We went on Sat 29th June, Cobham.
I went to the Nottingham base as part of a party with a mixed group of paintball novices and veterans. The premises were tidy and well kept, all of the staff were really friendly and approachable and our marshal, Rich, made sure that the rules of the game were respected and everyone had the best time possible all while dealing (tactfully) with a group of bratty teenage boys. Thank you for making our first time paintballing a fun one! xx
Me and my partner took our boys for a day of paintball- the youngest being 8yrs old. Can not recommend this place enough. From start to finish we were looked after. Was confident that the boys were safe out on the field under the care of the Marshal. The place is tidy, and the free tea/coffee area was clean. Big thank you to our Marshal “Lee” our boys felt happy and safe with him. And thank you also to the other guys who helped out, Vince and Nathan! All had a great day out. Will be back again soon! (Billericay Essex)
A brilliant day out, very well run with super friendly staff. I would say that all the staff at Tunbridge Wells were very helpful and enthusiastic. Definitely recommended.
Great paintballing place
Considering the weather was bad and raining the lads still had the best day
Great fun, a little pricey but professionally run
Great service and variety of games. Our Scouts loved it!
I booked the delta Force paintball in Hertfordshire for my sons 15th birthday for him and 4 friends, they had a great day which was packed with a full day’s fun itinerary along with lunch which the boys said they enjoyed. The prices were great and offers always in place to make the day, they had a fantastic time, staff where friendly and very helpful and there to greet you on arrival. We actually had a spare place due to absence and they have this available for when we book again which is great so no money lost! Great place and will definitely be booking again!
Went to delta force Manchester for a birthday gift for myself and a few selected friends, and what a day out it was, full of excitement and fun, plenty of interesting arenas and the marshals where great helpful and friendly too, all in all a top day out we all really enjoyed it and still are talking about it a few days after so that’s when you know you had fun!!
I went to Litchfield (now closed), and it was amazing. We had an age range of 11 to 50, we played mixed with another group of 6 adults. The centre was amazing, the staff were great and we had a fun day. So much so we booked again- Litchfield closed so we went to Derby.. What a difference. The staff were terrible, our group leader (I forget now, but I will add when I remember), and the management were terrible. Rude, unfriendly and miserable. Not the same experience. We were made to use balls that didn't pop 'kids" paintballs! We didn't use these last time but were made to this time. 2 of Our extras we bought didn't' 'explode' either. The group we played against were aggressive, and did not play fair. We complained and the leader just ignored me, blatantly just looked the other way. I stopped mid game to tell her of the cheating and aggressive behaviour and she was rude to me.. I complained to management, again uninterested and could not be bothered. I complained to head office. They emailed me back TWO months later and offered a 'free' return for 6 people, thus being 100 balls each. I can buy that for TEN people on groupon for £5, with lunch!! Such a shame because the first time, we had a great day. Second time completely ruined.
We had a Xmas party and it was thoroughly enjoyed by our u14 rugby team. Good value for money & the Delta Force team advised on how to get the best value on paintball refills!

Sep 05,2019To say I was impressed by the quality of the services at this centre is an understatement. Never in my time have I ever seen a team of marshals and support staff so enthusiastic and dedicated to provide the best experience possible. Their joyful smiles and encouragement went along way for my and my team. Being the first time I had taken my siblings on this amazing activity I was anxious that they wouldn't be included or many problems would arise. To my surprise the marshal team were clearly well trained and loved their job, they were constantly helping everyone at the centre that day and it showed in the morale of the players. I can not thank them enough for providing me an extraordinary day out and for providing my siblings the best possible introduction into a great passion of mine. I highly commend this centre for their efforts and I will surely be returning soon.
