Dr. Hassan Nurein is an experienced body sculpting surgeon specialising in Gynecomastia Surgery. He is one of the few doctors in the UK to specialise in the treatment of gynecomastia, also known as male breast reduction.
Dr. Nurein has trained in Vaser Hi Def and 4D Body Sculpting at the International Centre for Artistic Body Sculpting. His training in the NHS was with one of the best surgeons, Dr. R Kennedy, who is a Senior Consultant Surgeon that also won the NHS Best Hospital Doctor award in 2004.

Sep 08,2020After thoroughly researching which Dr to use for my gynecomastia I was in no doubt going to go with Dr Hassan Nurein based on all the positive reviews and his experience. From the initial enquiry online to the surgery everything was extremely informative, all of my concerns and questions were answered. My operation was carried out on the 1/09/2020 and although I travelled from Cornwall to London it was very much worth it. The whole team worked like clockwork, everyone was happy and professional and put my nerves at ease. I had gland removal and liposuction both of which there was very little pain, im now 1 week post opp and the results are incredible my chest is flat and the bruising and swelling which is expected is going quickly. I have not needed any pain relief, the after care is thorough and the team are always available if any concerns arise. If you are considering this procedure I would not go anywhere else. Aug 26,2020(Op two weeks ago) Fantastic team that make you feel relaxed and welcome. Dr Nurein’s expertise in this field is superb and the results of my procedure (gland removal/lipo) brilliant. I was a very nervous on the day but they dealt with me with patience and gave me confidence. Also, everything that the team tell you is true, either about the procedure or post op.. So if you are not sure about going ahead with surgery, I personally believe you can trust Dr Nurein and he will give you the full picture. Overall it has been a very worthwhile experience, one which I am so grateful to Dr Nurein and his team.

Aug 16,20208 months post surgery now and I can not express how great dr Hassan nurein and his team are! From the first consultation with Dr nurein to the nurses making me laugh during surgery (to take my mind off things and help me relax), to the follow up appointments it was all faultless. I was made to feel at ease within minutes of meeting a member of staff. ( I’m sorry I can’t remember her name) The follow up appointments are priceless. To be so close to my surgeon post surgery was a massive benefit. I had a very minor complication that was resolved by him self with in minutes. I was in two minds about getting the surgery for approximately 2 years and the only regret is I should of done it sooner. The scars and possible indents was my biggest concerns but dr nurein’s work was so good, the scars are so clean you couldn’t even see them even if I told you they was there and the shape of my chest is completely natural. If your reading this and debating surgery then stop debating and book a consultation with dr nurein. You could possibly find a cheaper option abroad but you get what you pay for and like i say being so close to my Surgeon was priceless with the aftercare. My gyno wasn’t that bad but mentally it was eating away at my confidence. It was self inflicted due to using anabolic steroids. There used to not be a day where I wouldn’t look down at my nipples hoping they would go away. Now I’m more focused on the important things in life and I’m able to enjoy my time with my family without having to worry about my nipples look like. Thank you, Dr nurein and his team.

Jul 15,2020I had Gynecomastia surgery gland removal and Lipo 8/7/20 1 week today , I was very nervous before but as soon as i set foot in the building my mind was put at ease. All the staff are the clinic offer a class service and care if your ever thinking about having this surgery don't put it off I did for so many years and wish I had it done sooner. The initial pain of the local anaesthetic is the literally the only pain you feel during the procedure once that kicks in it's pretty much pain free Dr Nurein will ask you how the pain is throughout duration of the surgery . I think I was in for around an hour but it went very quick the pain after was very little after ,that surprised me Woke up the next day was stiff and was more of a muscle ache and itching than anything It's very bearable and I didn't Need pain relief I went back to work 2 days later on light duties and feel absolutely fine. The compression garment little uncomfortable but Definitely worth it I'm 7 days post op and still haven't seen the final results but at this stage I'm absolutely delighted with the results and that's still with swelling and bruising can't recommend dr nurein and his team enough He is a world class surgeon and clinic is too

Jul 09,2020From the start these guys was 100% in touch with me, not once did I regret choosing this team for my surgery, I was in and out with a couple of hours. I’m currently a week post gyno op and lipo and I’m healing so good you can hardly tell even now I’ve had it done. Bruising and soreness hurt for a few days and that was it. Even post op you’ll get emails and phone calls to see how you are and if you need anything. 100% go for it.

Jun 27,2020I had my surgery with Dr Nurein and his team at the London clinic and can honestly say how smooth and professional the service was, the staff could not do enough for you really put my mind at ease as I grew a bit anxious at first, was pretty much completely painless, the surgeons was always checking on me and talking me through what they was doing which I found very reassuring, I had the full monty done gyno surgery, Vaser liposuction, body tite and glands removing, they really know there stuff and provide a superb service throughout including aftercare, after suffering for almost 20 years with gyno I can finally start to enjoy my life can’t wait to take my kids swimming, and go on a proper holiday, my wife has helped me sort out my wardrobe out for clothes I have had years but never wore due to my confidence issue, looking forward to putting them on and throwing away my grotty old gyno t-shirt, thank you all again. (If your good you even get a complimentary lollipop!)

Jun 14,2020I had my surgery on 19th March at the london clinic. I will write my first review as this has been 4 months approx since my surgery I am due to see the doctor for a very small follow up procedure in a couple of months so will post my 2nd review after that instance. I have been suffering from this issue of 'Gynecomastia' since 10 years old and i am now approaching 40. Its never to late and believe me it will make the world of difference. I have to say everything is so proffesional from Reception, to the nurses, after care nurse ( Dagmara) and to the doctor. All of them are lovely and make you feel very welcome. They always respond if you have any concerns and are always on hand to answer any questions. I won't speak about the operation as many on this review site have given specific details and all I can say in my case that it was very pleasant and everything was first class. I am absolutely delighted with the results and its changed my life now forever in the best way possible. There is a small follow up procedure that needs to be performed in August but all in all amazing results. Dr Nurrein is so helpful and always gets back to me if I have any concerns by phone or text immediately following the operations and even to this day ( 4 months later) is still on hand to help. I find this amazing as not many doctors would do this and the level of support you get from everyone at Becosmetics is fabulous. Jun 09,2020Where do I start. After suffering for about 15 years with Gynecomastia I decided to do something about it. I always felt people were looking at me whilst being on holiday, swimming back home or even just wearing a thin t-shirt in summer. I would not buy certain clothes because of Gynecomastia or buy a size bigger to try and cover my condition. I researched it for a good few months and Dr Nurein always came up on my searches. Having read reviews, watched his videos on youtube I decided to book the FREE consultation which actually was the deciding factor to start the process. From my initial email everything was straight forward and very professional. Never rushed in any decision I had to make throughout the process. As soon as I had the consultation with Dr Nurein I knew I wanted to go ahead. On the day of surgery you are made to feel very welcome and relaxed. I was more excited than nervous because I knew this was going to change my life. The procedure isn’t painful at all, more a little bit like a strange feeling. Afterwards was also ok, I didn’t have to take any pain relief as it wasn’t needed. It was worth every penny. I am now day 7 post surgery and already I am amazed by the results and they are expected to get better once it settles even more. Dr Nurein, Olga, Hanna and Aga are a great team. The aftercare is also first class and very specific in what you are required to do. My life has change forever. My only regret I have is not doing it 15 years ago.

Jun 03,2020I cannot describe how Dr Nurein and his team have changed my life, Ive suffered with gynecomastia for the last 7 years. From wearing hoodies in the summer, Wearing shirts that don't fit me, Avoiding holidays with family and friends. I even avoided dating and pushed relationships away as this really bothered me. It was only the last year or so i started looking into surgery, I kept thinking is this really what i want for the rest of my life to feel insecure. So i sent a email for a free consultation with Dr Nurein, After i exchanged a few emails with his team, i sent some photos of my gynecomastia and before i new it i was ready for my video call with Dr Nurein. He explained to me what was going to happen and made me feel comfortable, at this point i was certain i was ready and trusted his words. My day has finally come after waiting all these years, I arrived at the clinic and was greeted by these lovely ladies. I had to sign some forms and do a health check to make sure i was suitable for this surgery. My name was called and i went to meet Dr Nurein for some photos and to check my gynecomastia for surgery. I was all ready to go and went ahead into the surgery room, The ladies were preparing me and making sure i felt very comfortable. Dr Nurein was explaining everything he was doing throughout the whole procedure. There was no pain what so ever and before you know it i was all done, I looked at the glands and never felt so happy in my life and I couldn't thank Dr Nurein and his team enough. I am 7 days post op and my results just get better and better by the day. The recovery was the part i was worrying about the most but Dr Nurein and his team let me know that they were only a phone call away if i had any concerns to just get in touch. Also i would receive emails and texts checking up on me making sure i was doing ok. If (Gynecomastia) is bothering don't let it ruin your life, Let Dr Nurein and his team take care of you and you wont regret it.

May 30,2020Ok where do I start..... Only if you suffer from gynaecomastia can you fully appreciate the psychological impact It can have on your life. If you are reading this I'm pretty certain you know exactly how restricting this condition can be. I'd like to share my journey from from the initial enquiry I made in April and now 6 weeks later I am already in my 4th day of recovery. I researched Dr Nurein. I read the reviews and watched his videos over and over again on youtube and I was pretty confident he was the "man" to change my life. I had two video consultations with Dr Nurein. He determined I needed vaser lipo alongside gland extraction. I decided to go ahead and booked the surgery without delay. The day of the surgery I was excited, scared, nervous. I turned up and was greeted by the receptionist and had to fill out the consent form. Reading through this was for me the scariest part of my whole experience as the realisation of what could actually go wrong in a worst case scenario finally hit me. Having suffered for many years for me there was no turning back. Once the formalities were out the way I was prepared for surgery. AGA who is one of the nurses took me under her wing and really cheered me up. She could clearly see I was nervous but her positivity and larger than life personality made me feel at ease. I even held her hand at times during the surgery. The surgery itself was more uncomfortable rather than painful and was over before I knew it. I was given the aftercare meds and instructions and discharged.That night I hardly slept as I was in discomfort due to the swelling and pain which is to be expected. DAY 1 and 2 after the surgery were for me the worst days as I was really swollen and I had alot of bruising and discomfort.I was feeling pretty low and questioning myself if I did the right thing.I had a call from one of the after care team members and we spoke at length and by the end of the phone I was feeling more positive and reassured. Day 3. I was really nervous about removing the bandages to shower. My biggest fear being I didnt want to disturb the wounds cause pain and bleeding. I managed to removed the bandage and plasters without any pain or bleeding thanks to the clear instructions of the aftercare team. Once showered I redressed my wounds and applied the compression garment. I realised at this point the restrictive discomfort I had been suffering from over the last 2 days was due to the bandages that were applied after the surgery and the bruising was caused by the actual garment digging into my skin. Day 3 was a turning point for me I felt more in control of my emotions and positive. The discomfort I was feeling had eased after removing the bandages. Day 4...which is today I'm in no pain. I'm feeling positive. Drove my car for the first time in days without any discomfort. It's still way too early for me to know what my final results will be. But from what I have seen I'm amazed my chest and nipples are flatter. Thank you for everyone at BeCosmetics for an outstanding caring service.

May 21,2020My story starts about 8 years ago when I started to get pain in right nipple and a small pea size lump. The problem really started to flare up around 3 years ago and the pain turned into a big lump and got larger this last year! at times with unbearable pain. After doing research and reading reviews and storie's of Dr Nureins work I knew he was the best choice. On my consultation dr Nurein advised me to have both sides done even though i only had a big lump the right side, but i fully understood why he advised it to me as he wanted to acheive symmetry. I had my operation 1 week ago and had a perfect experience. His team were brilliant! Reassured me through the whole process. As you can imagine I was really anxious for a long time as to what my end results would be like. After years of pain , insecurity when getting undressed my confidence is finally back !! What an amazing surgeon Dr. Nurein is. After 3 days I removed my compression garment & plasters to shower and I was so overwhelmed and amazed at my results! I was lucky to have no swelling, minimal bruising, no pain what so ever ! More like sore muscles after a workout. My scars are so neat and I'm confident they will be unnoticeable in no time. Now to the best part ! The shape he has achieved! Its literally like rolling time back 10 years ! Looks so flat and aesthetically perfect. I'm 1 week in and couldn't be happier with my results and the whole experience. I'm certain in a couple of months it will be 100% . Thank you so much to Dr Nurein and his lovely team. My advice to anyone thinking of getting the surgery is don't wait, don't be anxious, see Dr. Nurein and change your life over night. Bring back you confidence. No regrets !

Apr 29,2020So after suffering from gynecomastia from early teens it took me around 2-3 years of debating surgery to finally go ahead with it, at the age of 24 i felt am i getting too old to worry now, but its not the case, you can’t put a time on how this condition makes you feel, and what a weight i feel off my chest after so long, i found Dr Hassan Nurein online ages ago and when it came to deciding to go ahead with the surgery i contacted his team and had surgery booked within a week, it all moved kind of fast but i think for someone like me it was the best way so i didn’t have too much time to think! They were very helpful from start to finish and the procedure went very well, special thank you to Anna for making the big day alot easier and as fun as possible, im only a week post surgery but im very happy with the results this far and i’m healing well, this is one of the biggest decisions i’ve made and thanks to Dr Nurein my life has changed, thank you to you and the team very much!

Mar 30,2020I suffered gynocomastia since I was around 14 years old. Always been doing lots of sports and like everybody else with this condition I hoped that I could improve it, unfortunately not succeeding. I decided to do something about it and after researching I came across to Dr. Nurein’s clinic. It all started with the free consultation and Dr. Nurein answered all my questions and seamed to be a real professional. It took me 1 day to decide and book my surgery which took place in under 1 month. I had my surgery 12 days ago today (gland removal + vaser liposuction) and I am recovering pretty well and couldn’t be happier for the results. The day of the surgery I felt that something was going to change in my life for ever. The lady that helped Dr. Nurein named Anna was a sweetheart. She was extremely nice and supportive (she was holding my hand when the procedure started) and asked me my favourite singer so she could let me listen to his music while having the surgery (in fact I was singing along) I found that nice and thoughtful. The surgery took around 2 hours and I was able to go back home with my wife. I felt so good that I was calming down the next patient that was going to have the surgery after me. I went to see Dr. Nurein 2 days ago to remove my stitches and like me he was very pleased with the results and my recovery. All I can say to those guys with this uncomfortable condition is: If you suffer from gynocomastia look no further, Dr. Nurein’s clinic is the place to trust. Very professional, caring and get the job done. My only regret is that I should have done it earlier. “My dream has come true”

Mar 01,2020After suffering with Gynecomastia for several years I decided to finally do something about it. I researched surgeons and found many recommendations for Dr Hassan Nurein on the UK forums. I went for a free initial consultation at Harley St and met Dr Nurein who was professional and answered all my questions; there was no hard sell, I felt Dr Nurein to be genuine and very knowledgeable. I decided to book my surgery which went very well; Dr Nurein and his team were brilliant. Surgery was completed under local anaesthetic which meant the cost was cheaper and I could go home after the surgery. 2 months post surgery and I am more than happy with the results, I'm very glad I had the surgery and more importantly, chose Dr Nurein. Highly recommended.

Feb 27,2020Since I can remember I’ve had a larger chest, I am a relatively broader and muscular person so the size I am has always allowed me to carry it well. However when it came to being around a swimming pool or having to take my top off this was more uncomfortable and caused me to be less confident to get into a pool etc. If I was on holiday I’d sit on a sun bed and take my top off and lay straight down to avoid any uncomfortableness. My chest was not necessarily the puffiness of the nipple but the size of my overall breast appearance. Training 4/5 times a week I thought doing chest would cause me to loose the fat however this just caused my chest to look even bigger when the muscle grew which is when I realised that the surgery was my only option...and I wish I had done it years earlier. I contacted Dr Nureins team to organise a consultation which was quick and easy. I spent about a week watching YouTube videos and making sure I found the right person. I had also contacted BNI private hospital however they took forever to get back to me plus the consultation was around £160. The consultation was very quick however I took this as he must see the same issues day in and day out. Whilst I waited for my appointment there were 4 others in the room which shocked me to see how many people it clearly effects. I went away and thought about the options and after a day or so I decided to bite the bullet and get booked in which felt amazing to know it was finally going to be sorted. I then cancelled by other appointment as I felt so confident with my decision. On the day of my operation my wife and I stayed the night before so we could be at the appointment for 9:30am. I had to fill in a form and quickly to the theatre for my operation. The two ladies who help Dr Nurein couldn’t have made me feel more comfortable and both were extremely chatty. (Sorry ladies I can’t remember your names, one was in her 60s as I remember her making a point about my wife being 30 year old and one had a coloured dyed hair). The operation took around 2 hours which sounds long but it went very quickly. The sensation of the hot anaesthetic was odd and the vaser lipo but not pain just a sensation you aren’t used to. Dr Nurein and his assistant would explain exactly what was going on as you can’t see anything during the operation. I’m currently one week into recovery and can’t help but keep removing my compression vest to see the results. I am so happy with them and the bruising has already virtually gone. The after care is amazing, I’ve had multiple emails, a 15 minute conversation with someone from the after care team to check I'm ok and a follow up appointment yesterday to remove stitches. The first night was very painful once the pain killers were wearing off and on the aftercare sheet Dr Nureins phone number was on there so I messaged him and he asked for pictures to be sent which at 10pm I thought was just unbelievable that the Dr himself would be responding! You’d not get that anywhere else I’m sure. If you are reading these reviews and are debating getting it done, trust me, you’ll not regret it!

Feb 22,2020I have struggled with gynecomastia since I was 13, at the age of 22 I have decided to get rid of it when I came to realize that no weight loss, muscle gain and diets will fix the problem. I am speechless when I look at my pre-surgery photos and compare them to just 11 day post op flat, manly chest that shows almost no sign of surgery that was undertaken. The surgery itself is just a bit stressful as both local anaesthesia and the gland removal feel strange, but for me personally that was it, the pain was very, very bearable. I also managed to survive the first recovery days without any painkillers. The clinic is amazing from the moment you enter and talk to the receptionist, have your first consultation with the doctor whose demeanor speaks experience, and go through the surgery with supportive and bubbly nurses who understand the importance of your condition. I am yet to fully recover, but I could already shine with my self-image freedom and take a stroll through the beach barechested. Worth every pound.
