Dr. Hassan Nurein is an experienced body sculpting surgeon specialising in Gynecomastia Surgery. He has been a practising Cosmetic Surgeon for over a decade and has honed his skills to a high degree of expertise after performing hundreds of procedures per year. He is one of the few doctors in the UK to specialise in the treatment of gynecomastia, also known as male breast reduction.
Dr. Nurein has trained in Vaser Hi Def and 4D Body Sculpting at the International Centre for Artistic Body Sculpting. His training in the NHS was with one of the best surgeons, Dr. R Kennedy, who is a Senior Consultant Surgeon that also won the NHS Best Hospital Doctor award in 2004.

Jan 09,2020Having suffered with gynecomastia since my teenage years, in trying multiple diets/exercise fads in an attempt rectify the situation - I had still been left with gland tissue and subsequent puffy nipples. After a lot of online research, and attending the consultation with Dr Nurien I felt motivated and confident to go ahead with the surgery. Communication was prompt and efficient with his staff. Dr Nurien provided a professional and genuine service, with a friendly and personable team, all of whom put at at ease throughout the build up/procedure [in particular nurse Aga was amazing, and helped to calm my nerves] The only pain experienced was whilst local anaesthetic was injected. I suffered with some dull chest muscle aching in following days (not unbearable) and was able to manage with just paracetamol. At 6 days post surgery the wounds are healing well. Very minimal bruising, the stitches are neat, no blood/discharge from incision site, slight swelling [anticipated this and was advised by Dr Nurien]. Overall I would definitely recommend, I am incredibly happy with the result so far, my only regret is that I had not undergone the surgery sooner! Thank you Dr Nurien and the team!

Jan 06,2020So after being diagnosed with Gynaecomastia at the age of 14, being lean and fit all of my life it was about time i found someone to help. I researched for a year being in the medical industry and Dr Nurein's name came up a lot about being a specialist in this field and doing the surgery under a local anaesthetic. I had a great consultation (which was free) back in around summer 2019, and i booked up a date for the 30/12/2019. It has been a week since my operation and i can safely say after just 3 days of removing the bandages it was the best thing i have ever done in my life. The results are fantastic and appearance of self confidence has more than doubled in 'wow' factor. i fully recommend Dr Hassan Nurein and i have even revealed my story online within my fitness blog. Dec 06,2019My experience with Dr Nurein and his team was truly amazing. I decided to have the surgery after a lot of research. Everything went well the day of the procedure and the staff were friendly and helpful. I could see results immediately after everything was done. There was minor pain for a few seconds in the beginning but once the local anesthesia kicked in it was smooth sailing. Once I got home I slept for the rest of the day and by the next day I was walking around. I didn't have pain just muscle soreness in the chest area. I could contact the clinic if I had any concerns. Today I had my follow up appointment(10 days after) and all is going well. I'm healing nicely and my confidence level has improved a lot. I am still wearing the compression garment and have also noticed my posture is improving. I can't recommend Dr Nurein enough! This procedure was a great gift to myself for my 30th birthday!!! GOODBYE GYNECOMASTIA!

Dec 05,2019So I had surgery around 3 years ago at transform for gyno. From day 1 I was never happy with the results and after being fobbed off by then decided to try a true specialist in this area. After reasearching I came across dr nurein so attended a free consultation in Sheffield. I left there knowing this guy was good! I was that excited I travelled to the London clinic last Wednesday for the procedure. I have to say that the whole team are fantastic, and provide you with confidence in what they do. During surgery I experienced pain, this was not due to anything the team were doing but scare tissue from The previous operation. Dr nurein provided more local anesthetic to help With this and continually asked if I was ok. Once the initial lumps were removed this subsided. He’s a true professional and - week in 1 can already see vast imrovement to the aesthetics of my chest! It’s taken me 40 years but am truly thankful and would after a terrible experience with the last surgeon, I can’t recomend dr nurein and his team enough! Don’t doubt and book! Dec 04,2019I was researching this procedure on and off for around 3 years contemplating whether or not I will end up having to do it as my gyno started off fairly small due to steroid use. In that time early on I came across Dr. Nurein and realised he was a specialist in this area. Through his writings and videos I could immediately see that this man was genuine having real knowledge and understanding of the issue. I am aware of many clinics, hospitals and surgeons that offer this procedure however none of them come close to the level Dr. Nurein is on and that is no understatement. His professionalism clearly matches his skill. I was sure he was no.1 in the UK before my surgery and now I am left with no doubt, especially when top surgeons from other countries are recommending him. The day of the operation went absolutely smoothly, in the pre-op final check up before surgery Dr. Nurein went over some minor details and reassured me that he would get me the best results possible as I and all of you reading this should be aware that results from person vary, he can only do his best as the amazing surgeon he is to remove and sculpture you as best way possible. During surgery he kept me updated, made me aware of what was going on from left gland to right gland, continually asked if I was ok and in any pain and was reassuring all the way. His whole team have been amazing from the Olga, to his surgery assistants right through to Dagmara in the after care team. I am only 7 days post op and I feel confident once I see the final result it will be exactly what I wanted. I am thankful to Dr. Nurein for helping me get rid of this unbearable issue and allowing me to live a stress free/pain free life again as it affected me mentally and physically. There is nobody else I would recommend to do this surgery for you if you are planning to do it and I believe if you suffer from it, this is the best and only way out trust me! I’m sure you aware that many surgeons give you the guarantee that gyno will never come back, however I was aware it can and Dr. Nurein also gives you that information, however he does also give you the satisfaction of knowing if it did ever come back he will once again remove it...free of charge. I’m sure you won’t find that abroad or even anywhere else in the UK let alone the professionalism. Great job to all the team @ BeCosmetics.

Nov 03,2019I had my gland removal surgery in february 2019. All healed very well but with my luck,,, it came back as a small part of gland needs to be left to support the back of the nipple. After speaking to dr about it he said its the 1st of many hes had ever come back after surgery. After contacting dr nurein about the come back he arranged a follow up appointment and took a quick look and booked a date to go through surgery again. The surgery is pain free, not a pleasant experience, especially having it done twice, im now 7 days post treatment and feel great, fingers crossed it doesnt come back. 5 stars for dr nurein and his team, very efficient and professional and best price around.

Oct 25,2019I've had considerable gynecomastia since I can remember, aged 10 or so, am now aged in my early 40s! Over those 3 decades I tried absolutely everything to reduce it, from intense exercise 5 days a week, strict diets and all manner of natural non-prescriptive supplements. None ever really worked. As many reading this will understand, it's a burden and affects your life in many ways, which I always kept to myself. For some reason, a month or so ago I finally decided to look into surgery. After a little bit of online research, I thought Dr Nurein seemed like a good option for what I considered to be a slightly risky procedure. I finally had the surgery done on 16th October, 9 days ago! My only regret, and recommendation to people like myself who carry this burden is, I should have got this done 20 years ago! Dr Nurein comes across to me as an absolute expert in this field, and somebody I would have no hesitation in recommending to somebody who is considering the surgery. His team are all very friendly, and especially the nurses (I think they were!) during the operation were extremely friendly and put you at ease beyond what would be expected. The surgery itself last about 1.5-2 hours, but for me was quite easy and painless. In fact, there has been very little pain either during or after the surgery. You feel very slightly weak for about 48 hours at most, then return almost to normal. I have to say, the most unpleasant aspect for me was/is the bandage that is applied afterwards for 3 days, which is very tight, and makes sleeping slightly awkward. Once that is removed, you have to wear the compression garment only but for 6 weeks (3 all day, 3 for half a day), which is slightly uncomfortable and there is slightly annoying itching, but sleeping in it is fine now. All very, very small sacrifices/inconveniences compared to the 25 years of high intensity exercises, not being able to wear t-shirts etc! Most importantly, after just 5 days the results are already as good as or better than I expected! (straight after the op, there was a lot of water - edema? - on the chest, so do not judge by that as it gets flushed out over the next few days!). If it gets any better as is claimed over the next few weeks and months, it will be amazing and way beyond what I hoped for, as I'd be happy as it is now! All in all, I would highly recommend getting this surgery done if it's causing you issues in your life and you can afford it, and I would very highly recommend getting it done by Dr Hassan Nurein if you are considering it. I personally an extremely happy I chose to get this done, and by him.

Oct 21,2019This is just a summary of a much more detailed review of the service Dr Nurein and his team provided for my gynecomastia issue which can be found over at the gynecomastia.org forum under the UK section. I had my surgery last friday and I am only 3 days post op but the results are amazing even with some slight swelling which should go away soon, I've gone from essentially what many could terms as B cup breasts to a completely flat chest. We are talking type 2/3 gynecomastia.on a medium build body. Dr Nurein is highly professional with a wonderful team around him. As you can see from all the other reviews there is nothing to fault. Everything from the initial consultation to post op recovery is done in the most professional manner and to the highest standard. Thank you Dr Nurein and the team for what for me is life changing.

Sep 08,2019I had Gynecomastia surgery with Dr Nurrein just over 3 weeks ago. The results are already amazing and I can't thank him enough for what he has done for me. The whole process was simple and his consultations were very clear and stress free. It took me a while to take the plunge and go for the surgery and whilst I was deliberating (about a year) I had no pressure from anyone at the team but they were always helpful when I got in touch. The surgery itself was quick, and having it done under local anesthetic meant for a speedy recovery (I actually went straight to a cafe afterwards with my wife who waited during the surgery). The nurses that he works with (I'm sorry ladies I've forgotten your names), were both brilliant- they made me feel so at ease before and during the operation which I really appreciated as I was really nervous. The scars from the incisions are already not noticeable unless you are looking for them and the shape he has managed to achieve for me is brilliant. I'm so happy with the work! I can wear t-shirts comfortably again without feeling self conscious- Dr Nurrein you've literally changed my life. Thank you!

Aug 23,2019Dr Nurein and his team were amazing! For many years I’ve been looking for a specialist surgeon who focuses on just gynecomastia. After going to other surgeons, I knew when I met Dr Nurein- he was the guy. Not only was his team amazing... the procedure was finished before I knew it. The lidocaine injections are probably the only painful bit of the operation, you can handle it though for sure! It’s been 2 weeks now- and I feel so confident and am able to wear t shirts. I’ve suffered with gynecomastia since is was 15, so it’s so nice to not feel conscious. I wish Dr Nurein and his team all the best, they are great people and I’m so thankful for their help! Thank you

I had suffered with Gynecomastia for 20 years, I had previously had Gynecomastia surgery with another surgeon over a year ago but unfortunately didn't achieve the results I had wanted. Dr Nurein is highly experienced and was able to correct this with scar tissue release and fat transfer and although I am still only 7 days post op I feel the overall results will be excellent. I only wish I had came to him in the first place. At the free initial consultation I felt I was listened to and was confident that Dr Nurein could achieve the result I desired. Also like other reviewers have said the team around him deserve alot of credit as they put you at ease and make sure you are comfortable. Thanks again

Feb 21,2020I've had gynecomastia since I was a teenager, but it is something that had become worse in the past few years, to the point that I would wear clothes specifically to mask the issue. I had also lost motivation to go to the gym, it felt pointless as I would always be left with this issue regardless. I had thought about the idea of surgery on and off for the past few years but was put off for all sorts of reasons, including the cost and the idea of the surgery itself. What I saw time and time again within these reviews was that it was the best decision people could have possibly made. I have to say, this could not be more true. It's been a little over 3 weeks since my surgery with Dr. Nurein - The results were immediate, and are improving week by week. The swelling has reduced significantly and incision scars are healing well. I'm already able to wear what I like without feeling self conscious, which has made the whole experience more than worth it as far as I'm concerned. Again, like everyone else has said in their reviews, I can't thank/recommend Dr Nurein and his team enough - an excellent service from start to finish.
