Dec 19,2023At first I was a bit skeptical about using ERP, but what a weight off my shoulders it ended up being. Shenita worked with the Business office of my mom's new facility. They typically do not take Medicaid-pending cases, but they were so impressed with the communication and follow-up from Shenita, that they made an exception! Thankfully, all the incredible advice and hand-holding resulted in getting my mom into a wonderful facility and is getting the care she needs. So grateful for ERP and recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to try and piece the process together on their own.

Dec 12,2023My experience in discussing Medicaid LTC qualifying with this company was not so great and I'll not be signing the contract for their services, at a cost just shy of an entire month's care in Memory Care for my parent, the emails I'm receiving to pressure me into doing so notwithstanding. I spoke quite briefly with Nicholas and a 'Benefits Specialist' both of whom were overly reassuring that now that I'd contacted them, it would be smooth sailing. Having managed a complex etstate for over 3 yrs, I know better than to be soothed by a sales pitch. Some of their information was misstated or plain wrong. 'Don't worry about the vehicle, MA will grab it...' In fact, it's exempt. 'The IRS can't collect taxes from someone deceased.' In fact, they will collect from any estate remaining. Their sales pitch came on way too strong and I alternately sought help from Medicaid Planners at the state level that will cost nothing, preserving precious estate resources. The state MA planners informed me of the vehicle exemption and the tax infomation can be found most anywhere estate closure is mentioned. I would simply suggest that unless you have an unrestricted flow of cash, that you seek out alternate help with MA LTC planning and don't fall for the hard sell from Eldercare Resource Planning, LLC; there are free resources out there.

Nov 29,2023Michael clearly had reviewed my information before the meeting, got to know what was important for me and my spouse and family and laid out a detailed review within 1 day of our meeting in a lengthy report. I often go back to that report to remind myself of what I need to do to make sure our plans are on target.

Nov 22,2023The process of caring for elderly loved ones can be difficult. And when it comes time to put a loved one in a home, it becomes even more so. Undoubtedly, this would have been an exceedingly difficult, tedious, and even more frustrating endeavor, had I not employed the services of Eldercare Resource Planning. From the very beginning they were professional, courteous and exceedingly helpful through the entire process of getting my dad qualified for long term care. They are trustworthy. I absolutely would not have been able to tackle this monumental task alone. Thank you! I have already begun recommending this service to those who find themselves confused, or in need of "next steps" with regard to placing a loved one, into long term care. It was a blessing to have them work on my behalf! If I had to do it again (thankfully I don't) I would not hesitate to use them again!

Nov 08,2023I signed up for a Medicaid Benefits Consultation on behalf of my 90-year old mother who is currently in Assisted Living. Margaret provided an excellent summary in my initial conversation. The consultation with Liz was extremely helpful and she was able to answer almost all of my questions on the initial call. If she didn't have the answer, she followed up with colleagues or did additional research and got back to me quickly. I am very happy I worked with ECR on this important process. I have much greater clarity and confidence on the key issues, assumptions and risks in our plan. Thank you ECR.

I was guided through the entire process and given advice on strategies to get my father in law the financial assistance that he needed to maintain his long-term care. Jennifer was amazing, so much so that I requested her service a second time. I was having such a hard time navigating the Medicaid process in Illinois. I know that the guidelines are very specific and if you dont know the processes or do anything incorrectly, the delays are endless. Jennifer was amazing, I cant say enough good things. She is knowledgeable, patient and thorough. She will make sure she gets the job done. She is empathetic , compassionate and tenacious.I am so grateful for her assistance. Aug 16,2023William was so demanding and did not seem interested in helping me as my wife is and has been in a nursing home for over 2 years, He told me my attorney was not knowledgeable and everything that has been done during the past years is not helpful or financially beneficial to me. I guess he is the expert and has no patience. I thought he was a professional jerk. He has no compassion. I was expecting an overview of how your process works. All I recieved was interrogation and criticism. I feel like I might as well give up and die. What is the point??

Aug 06,2023When I contacted this company, I was frustrated and hopeless. I was trying to get some help under "Spousal Impoverishment Protection" for taking care of my husband who has Alzheimer. I applied through Covered California and the case was submitted to the County but it was denied twice. This company fought for me and proved my eligibility. I have recommended them to the daycare that my husband attends in case someone else needs help.
