Michael helped us to select the best option and develop a strategy to incorporate her LTC policy with Medicade. He clearly explained the means to qualify for Medicade and how to position her assets so that she can cover what Medicade doesn't through a Qualified Income Trust.

May 06,2023Eldercare Resource Planning was almost essential to getting my husband on Medicaid. I felt like I was spinning my wheels trying to deal with the Medicaid website and always receiving a recording on the phone. This caused me to look for another resource. I admit at the beginning we balked at the cost but after being so frustrated trying to do it on my own I was willing to give them a shot. It was worth every penny! The most important thing to me was their timely communication. We also like their straightforward, understandable instructions. Was it still a lot of work, yes, but at least I felt like we were headed in the right direction something was being done and we were not alone in this quest.

My questions were answered quickly, the Medicaid specialist who was assigned to me, Gerri Kush, was wonderful throughout the entire process. She was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable. My mom's approval came faster than I anticipated which was a big financial relief for our family.
