Apr 13,2022The people with Eldercare Resource Planning were very upfront on how the process was going to be. We were coming into this knowing very little on how Medicaid actually works. The only thing we knew were the horror stories we were told by family friends who had gone through this with their parents & what we had read on different reviews. Note: Eldercare wasn't one that contained reviews causing you to shy away. After reading their reviews you wanted to contact them, soon. So, we did. Everything, and I mean everything went exactly as it was explained it would after our phone conversation with your representative then a 2nd call a few days later. They answered every question we asked & there were several. They informed us that we needed to pick one contact person to deal with to make for a smooth process. No rosy pictures, just facts. They pulled no punches! It only got better after I received a phone call in the next few days from the Indiana Medicaid Specialist who would guide me through this situation. She laid out what was needed for me to do in gathering the information to move forward. Thankfully our mother had many of the records I needed filed away in her bookkeeping files at her home which made it much easier. Nevertheless, the representative kept in touch with me to see that I wasn't running into roadblocks. I was told to call her anytime if I need help. Several times I received evening phone calls from her just to see how things were going. She was a blessing to have knowing our concerns were also her concerns. This whole process started December 11th when we first contacted Eldercare Resource Planning. The fully completed report was finalized by Eldercare to be sent to Medicaid January 31. Though Mom passed later in February just days before we had a scheduled meeting with Medicaid, Eldercare Resource Planning was a Peace of Mind for our entire family. Knowing that Mom was going to have the care to comfortably live out her remaining days with no unanswered questions. Thank you, Eldercare & your comforting associates.

Apr 13,2022Recently I had to have help getting my husband qualified for Medicaid. After spending months with a "Medicaid Attorney", having little to no communication with her, getting nowhere with the process, I fired her and reached out to Eldercare Resource Planning. Not only did my specialist keep in constant contact, but she also kept me up to date on the progress of my application, explained all the documents I needed for the process, told me upfront the cost to file all the paperwork and act as a liaison between Medicaid, my husband and me. She was polite, efficient, accurate, understanding and thorough. She held my hand during the entire process and I would highly recommend Eldercare Resource Planning to anyone who needs Medicaid assistance.

Mar 18,2022We had to place our 94 year old mother into a memory care facility but she had no income except social security. We heard about Eldercare Resource Planning and learned after a review of her situation they felt she would qualify for Medicaid. It took 7 months due to unique circumstance of our mother's past finances but we finally got approval. Eldercare completed most of the paper work , advised us on what we had to do and kept the state agency to task. They were very thorough and to task. They never gave up. We never could had been successful without them . We highly recommend them.

Mar 03,2022They did a great job getting us medicaid approved in less than 2 months. There was just one hiccup with money moved that caused alot of anxiety for me but was resolved in the end. Otherwise it would have been a 5 star review.

Feb 16,2022Maybe you know the feeling...a loved one is entering long-term care, you’re anxious, afraid, uncertain and scared about the future. Aside from health concerns, you don’t know how this care will be afforded. You’ve heard horror stories about the Medicaid process, which you'll need, so now there is something else to be nervous about. Fortunately my brother went online and discovered Eldercare Resource Planning (ECR) for help in going through the Medicaid application process. We talked with them, explored the website and determined this was the way to go. And we’re so glad we did engage their services. Efficient, responsive and knowledgeable, ECR initially provided a list of the documentation that would be required, then handled our questions and took us through the approval process expeditiously. I’m so grateful for the burdens they spared us, that I would encourage anyone facing the complexities of Medicaid application to use the same service. Thanks, ECR!

In my career, I have completed numerous grants and state forms, however, the Medicaid application process became rather nuanced, and I recognized the need for specialized support in order to meet the many requirements. Their knowledge of the process, in addition to an awareness of nursing homes in my area were invaluable. The personnel involved with my case were conscientious, supportive, detail oriented, provided feedback in a timely fashion, and truly walked me through every aspect to completion and approval. Nov 24,2021I tried for months to get my wife qualified for Medicaid/MediCal without success. I contacted Eldercare Resource Planning and within 3 weeks, they had her qualified and offered countless suggestions, including finding a list of Nursing homes in our area. Amber Sholty was our Medicaid Specialist from Eldercare Resource Planning and she couldn't have been more helpful. Without this company, and specifically Amber, we would not have been able to afford the high costs associated with Nursing facilities without assistance from Medicaid.

Nov 24,2021We hired Eldercare planning after being referred by my Federal Employee Assistance Program. We didn't know what to expect but knew we needed to help my mom's declining condition and though the the challenging Medicaid process. We were extremely pleased with the service received from all staff we worked with! The professionalism was on a top tier level of effort. Our assigned planner was excellent, extremely knowledgeable, responsive, detail-oriented and was able to answer any questions with ease. When things got challenging with our assigned caseworker, she went to bat for us and always got the answers needed--she is clearly a seasoned advocate. She successfully helped us get my mom into a long term care facility that is 15 minutes from our home and and that is top-notch. My mom is content and being well taken care of. The nursing home staff have gone out of their way to constantly provide activities, and other care for her as needed. We never would have been able to get through this process without the help of Eldercare Planning. We'd highly recommended them for anyone trying to get their loved one from home into a nursing facility through Medicaid!!

Nov 23,2021You should prepare an activities log of today’s for client as well as Eldercare. The only issue I had was being told immediate action items in the beginning and then told to change a key action item. OverallThe support Kaitlyn provided was excellent!
