Feb 10,2021Excellent slippers - they fit perfectly. I used their sizing guide and ordered a size smaller than I would usually buy and they fit perfectly. The delivery was quick and the quality of the slippers is fantastic. I wear them every day and they still look great.

Feb 09,2021Fit very well at my feet, really comfortable, nice design, but....after the second hike- you read it good- second hike, 2 metal buckles for the shoelaces are broken. Please use better quality buckles for these boots. Of you want, I can send you pictures

Feb 09,2021Bets pair of woolly slippers I've ever worn. Putting out the wheelie bins - no problem. Filling the coal bucket in the dark of night - easy in these slippers. I would wear them running if I lost my Vaporflys. Would highly recommend. Shipping to Ireland, 3 days.

Feb 09,2021The wool part of the shoes is awesome, the shoes are warm but at the same time super ventilated, the material itself looks very good and is practical. What's not as high quality as the material is the sole, when I wear the shoes for 8 hours straight I get sore feet. And that is not a problem for me with other high end sport shoes with better high quality soles. I cannot find at the moment shoes made out of wool with a high quality sole, although I would pay a small fortune for it. You were my hope but I'm a little disappointed....

Feb 08,2021Great service, good shoes, not a 5/5 yet. The walking boots make my feet ache almost like muscle fatigue along the out edge of my soles both feet. I suspect I will break them in. This is not typical for me, hence a 4/5 not 5/5. Ask me in 6 months. C

Feb 07,2021Recently purchased Wool Cross X Alpine Boots. On third outing the lace eyelets on the shaft of the boot pulled flat & then sheared off when I tried to bend them back. That's absolutely hopeless for a €199 pair of hiking boots - they are going to be returned. I like the lightness of the boot though I would be quite dubious as to how robust & hardwearing they are?? At best they are a summer walking boot - to put the name Alpine to them is a complete misnomer!

Feb 05,2021Within a year of VERY minimal use (hi, quarantine), both of my sneakers started to have the toe wear away. I'm not sure why they wouldn't reinforce the toe area of a sneaker, but that's exactly where they both started to fray away. So now, if I want to wear my $100 sneakers, I better hope my socks match, because they're going to show through. Such a disappointment.

Feb 03,2021The service is excellent and the shoes are very comfortable. The size of the indoor shoes is a bit larger than the usual sizes, as the shoes are relatively long and quite narrow. Adding an additional shoe inlay took care of this problem and made the shoes comfy and warm. However, the next time I would order a size smaller and I wonder how the sizes would work out for the outdoor shoes.

Feb 02,2021Ordered products on 21 November 2020, but sent three follow up emails to shop@ address to modify the order - no response whatsoever. An incorrect order then arrived. I tried to message to Giesswein on Instagram, reply said to write to shop@ email address which I did yet again on 23 and 26 December, again with no reply. I sent a text - no response. On 3 January I returned some of the goods using Giesswein's correctly completed return forms and pre-paid labels with proof of postage. Giesswein state they will refund returned goods within 10-14 days. So far (1 month after returning the goods) no refund to my CC and no communication whatsoever. This is abysmal customer service that does no credit to an excellent product.
