J'ai été livrée en une semaine : délais tenus, et pour l'instant je suis contente de mes chaussons. Ils me tiennent bien aux pieds et j'ai assez chaud, ce qui était le but. A priori, je renouvellerai l'expérience en temps utile.
I purchased a pair of Berlin slippers. They look and feel like cheap rubbish. Would not buy from this company again.
I placed an order on 30/11 and it was out for delivery on 3/12 but something happened and the item never arrived. It was out again for delivery on 6/12. I believe the item is lost. I have spoken to customer service three times and they have not been any help. They have supposedly launched an investigation but it has been 20 days and I am no closer to finding out where my item is, and they haven't even bothered to follow up with me (I have chased them twice already), despite having been promised that within 3 days they would get back to me.
Total lack of communication.Order placed 29th November.Advised by virtual assistant order is being prepared by team.Same information given each time.No indication when shipment will be made.Tried several times to speak with the team but without success. Am very disappointed and totally lost confidence in them. Further more have since learnt that they normally ship by Royal Mail probably not a good option at present.

I returned some slippers, following the instructions and label provided by Giesswein. This was on 8 September but I have had no acknowledgement that the parcel has been received (it is now 2 Oct). I have had only one email response to the four I have sent them, asking about the status of the return. The time frame indicated on their website for a full return of funds has already passed. I am concerned that I will lose this money and can't understand why a straightforward transaction is taking so long. The return confirmation number I received from them is: Giesswein Return Confirmation GWUK87540. Perhaps they will respond to this review, if not to the previous emails. What a shame that so much effort needs to be spent on receiving what is rightfully mine. I shall not consider purchasing other products from them, based on their non-existent customer service.
I measured my feet according to the instructions and, being on the cusp, went a size up. The shoes are too small for me, so I guess the sizing runs pretty small. I tried to contact to discuss but the contact form goes unanswered and the live chat just takes all my details and promises to fetch a live agent but then never does, just asks for a rating and feedback.
Danheim slippers very comfortable but sole has worn through very quickly without excessive wear - if you can improve the sole durability I would buy again
Firstly, I do have to say that customer service and support has been excellent in my experience. I bought a pair of Chamereau slippers in July 21, and fell in love with them. Super comfortable, and because of the wool, your feet stay cozy whatever the weather. They don't feel overheated or sweaty! Unfortunately, exactly 12 months on from purchase, a hole appeared in the big toe area, and the material appears to be simply disintegrating. They are now unwearable. I'm extremely disappointed, as I loved my slippers. As soon as the hole appeared, I contacted Giesswein, and provided photos. Response from this company was immediate, and within 3 days I had a full refund in my bank account. I am hugely impressed by this, so thankyou. I cannot give more stars of course, because I would expect a pair of slippers or shoes, to last me much longer than 12 months.
When browsing the website of Giesswein I was seduced to "sign up for the newsletter and get 10% off your first purchase".... Well, I signed up for the newsletter, but never got any code for a 10% discount!

Habe im letzten Sommer die Merino woolknit gekauft, sehr bequem aber nach ein paar Monaten tragen (im Winter nicht, da nicht wasserfest) löst sich das äußere Netz leider schon auf und die Schuhe sehen nicht mehr schön aus und ich mag sie so nicht mehr tragen. Nach knapp einem halben Jahr normaler Nutzung ist das sehr schade und viel zu früh für so eine Abnutzung.
Habe im vergangenen Dezember, zwei Paar Giesswein Schuhe gekauft, das grüne Paar zeigt oben bereits starke Auflösungserscheinungen. Hier im Obermaterial, vorallem lösen sich in Einlässe an den Schnürsenkel. Wurde bei der Verkaufsaktion im vergangenen Jahr eine andere als der sonst üblichen Qualität verkauft? War ansonsten immer sehr zufrieden.
WOOL CROSS X ALPINE Boots Size 11 USA High quaility and look great. They are definitely waterproof as my feet stayed dry as I walked thru the snow and sludge. They keep your feet warm though not toasty. Which is actually a good thing as your feet do not sweat. If the weather is frigid you might need a second pair of socks. Mine fit true to size. They will be a bit snug at first and the heel was a bit loose. However as you break them in and put on heavier socks they begin to fit better and become more flexible and comfortable. The more you wear them the better they feel. They are definitely worth the money as they are very well made. The only negative is that there is no strap on the back of the boot. It's a minor flaw but a strap makes boots easier to put on. Maybe on the next generation? The boots arrived in excellent condition and I'm very happy with the purchase and service. Update 03/14/2023 Here's a secret for my fellow Americans who don't travel much (like me)...these boots are made to be worn WITHOUT socks. I found this out by looking at a European ad for these boots. Don't worry, your feet will be plenty toasty and comfy without socks...it takes a while to used to though....the boots held up well thru the winter and with a little wear on them they are even more comfortable this season. If you must wear socks a thin pair of wool socks are best.
I ordered some slippers on Dec 6. As of Dec 18 they have not been shipped and no one has responded to my email for assistance.
After two weeks waiting I have still not received my product. Left several requests on their customer service pages but nothing. Help!

j'ai contacté G concernant des pantoufles Veitsch qui n'ont pas tenu 1 an: le tissus s'est détendu et la pantoufle ne tient plus au pied. réponse de G: passez les à la machine à 30°. Je l'ai fait et cela a bien marché...pendant 48h, après, le tissus était tout aussi détendu. je confirme donc que cela ne vaut pas le coup d'acheter ces pantoufles très chères et peu durables
bought some Weitsch slippers (70€) last Chrismas They were nice for a few months but now the fabric has completely loosened and they fall off my feet and are quite uncomfortable. If a pair lasts 10 months max, I would have been better off buying some cheap slippers in a supermarket and for the price of a paire of Giesswein I could have bought 5 pairs.
