Apr 11,2019Anders, You reply to my post, but this system does not allow me to reply again, so unfortunately I have to reply via a new post to rectify your comments. What you reply is exactly my point. The customer HAS to take EXTRA insurance to reduce the excess. Basically you are forcing your customer to take the insurance. And yes, my excess was only 1.800 DKK just BECAUSE I paid for another extra insurance to avoid my credit card being blocked. And yes, it has already happened to me that my limit on my credit card was reached due to the amount blocked by rental car companies. And yes, I have a sufficient limit on my credit card. I travel for business, I rent a lot of cars.
