We booked a ticket on eSky this May 2021 from Bucharest to Manila worth 1309 EUR plus extra service of 16 EUR. The flight is with British Airways and Cathay Pacific carrier. After one month we received an email that Cathay Pacific cancelled our flight from Hong Kong to Manila. So we called their call center to provide us other option and they did it. But after few weeks our connecting flight from Bucharest to London was cancelled, and now stating that British Airways have no flight exactly those days that we are supposed to go. This time it's so hard to find other possibilities due to limited flight from Hong Kong to Manila but still managed to have one. However, last June 29 British Airways sent us an email that our flight from London to Hongkong is cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions. Esky also sent us a notification about the cancellation. Email from Esky regarding the cancelled flight: 1. Contactăm linia aeriană pentru a obține informații cu privire la opțiunile disponibile pentru biletul dvs. 2. Dacă vă calificați pentru a obține o rambursare, suma rambusabilă va fi returnată pe forma de plată utilizată la achiziționarea biletului sau sub forma unui voucher valoric ce va putea fi utilizat pentru rezervări viitoare. Veți primi informații detaliate cu privire la opțiunile de rambursare prin e-mail. 3. Dacă vă calificați pentru modificarea datelor de călătorie, vă vom contacta pentru a vă prezenta opțiunile de zbor disponibile. Their employee called us after I sent a message through their chat regarding our cancelled ticket and our eligibility for reimbursement. So one of their agents called us on June 30, stating that we have 2 options. First,is to travel from July 12 but we need to stay in London for 2 nights and then 1 night in Hong Kong and only in July 16 we will arrive in Manila which is impossible again for the reason that Hong Kong released new restriction for passengers from UK starting July 1 and for those who transit more than 2 hours. Second, he stated that we are entitled for a refund of 1244 EUR. Obviously, we have to go for the refund. It was just strange that eSky employee in Romania had managed to call us even after their working hours like around 19:30 PM of June 30 using UK number. However, I didn't receive any email of cancelled booking but we could not find anymore our flight on the website of British Airways but our ticket is still active on the eSky website. July 1, I called them to ask regarding the refund and why I didn't recive any email from them. The agent told me that the refund request was not yet sent to the BA and I need to wait because our flight will be in July 12. So I just asked him to send me a email of the refund request and said that he would do it. July 2, I called eSky again because BA stated that they didn't receive any request yet. Now, this agent named Andrei told us another version that the request was sent since June 30 and he confirmed the amount of 1244 EUR. I told him regarding what his colleague said and he promised that he would send an email within an hour but it was just a lie again. Me and husband are already in distressed and they are not helping at all. Their chat support who used to respond before any cancellation takes don't anwer anymore. We don't have any email from them as well. I do see a lot of complaints regarding this travel agency and their agents are lying a lot.I cannot believe that they have a big rating here.
