The “fully funded” message appeared for many days, and nothing happened (no money in my bank account). My wife’s ID is a US “Green Card.” That was the only US ID she had. Figure said the photo was not good enough. I sent new cooies of the photo along with copies of her Costa Rica Passport and Health Card to support the US green card. Still not good enough. Ugh! Delay, delay, delay. I telephoned at least 4 times, and nothing happened. Each time I called or received an email, it was with a different person--I didn’t feel like I had an advocate at Figure. I will never recommend this outfit. Excessive “processing” time. Sloppy organization.

Everything went well. Paperwork signed in a timely manner. A little more correspondence after paperwork signed would be nice. That way there’s not a void until funds are deposited.

I asked not to have the loan deposited by email as required by the contract within the specified period. I wanted to know if I qualified, but haven’t found the right home. They deposited anyway 3 days later, charging a daily interest fee plus 2% origination fee, and when I tried to wire it back, I received a notice that I couldn’t return it because my account wasn’t set up. Can you spell con job?

I signed up for automatic payments. I was assured that they would take the money from my account on the first - not before. This month they took the payment on the 29th. THAT IS NOT THE FIRST OF THE MONTH. Why assure and vow that the payment would not be taken before the first, and then do the opposite.

I have been shopping for a HELOC with several lenders who have all extended offers to me. This one was a total waste of time. Called first to get terms and required credit score. The information I was given was completely inaccurate. Claimed I have adverse info on my credit report, but never could provide what that adverse information was. The rep said it would be uploaded to my dash board and it never was. I pulled the credit report myself prior to applying and nothing adverse is on it. This company uses "Bait and Switch" practices as well as providing misleading information. They do not use accurate property values either. Glad I found out before doing business with this company.

The process was easy, the closing was painless, I really enjoyed the way the loan went. The loan was funded quickly, just waiting for the slow bank transfer to get completed. The customer service was very good as well.

The application was mostly easy. There were a couple of hang ups that no on emailed or contacted us about, so I had to chat with someone to find out what the issue was. Was no one going to let us know? Got done with the notary signing and states loan has been funded, however here we are 8 days later and we do not have the funds in our account- where is it?

The process was streamlined and very simple. This was perhaps the easiest mortgage/HELOC I've ever experienced. I provided the basic information Figure needed, and they handled the rest. Although I am a full-time Federal employee, I also have a second private business that generates income I needed to have considered. Once I granted secure access to view my bank accounts for financial verification of my self-employment earnings, it simplified the entire process. Another lender was requesting profit-and-loss statements from the previous year, and YTD earnings. Figure was able to look at my 5-year-old accounts and see that the business was stable and consistent, and did not require these or any other items that needlessly slowed the process. Communication was clear and easy, and then entire process from application to funding in my bank account took 10 days, total. They even had an option where they sent someone to my home for closing, at a time of my choosing, making the entire process even more convenient. I would definitely use Figure for my next mortgage or HELOC experience. It really was an unbelievably easy loan to have funded! I still don't know how they did it.
