Feb 14,2025I have applied and got a home equity loan in 2023 June. On December 2025, they increased my payment by purchased additional insurance for my in home appliances, and belongings. This is a non standard the requirement which they told me was because they received my insurance information late. I have submitted and uploaded insurance information which the insurance company have confirmed but Figure said it’s no on their file. The upload is not visible to the client. Spoke to more than 6 agents, got 6 different reasons. They all say they will refund to me but nothing happens and they continue to send me the higher payment stubs. They refused to provide the name who did this to me as there is no accountability.

Feb 14,2025Overall the process was simple and straight forward. Contact with agents over the "chat" feature went well and they addressed questions quickly and efficiently. The only issue was the uploading of identification to verify identity. If the photo document was not accepted, they did not immediately notify you of this, and the application process stalled. It was necessary to contact them, after a period of time, when you noticed things were in limbo. Agents were helpful once it was brought to their attention. Notary process was quick and easy. I have no idea how that Header "Never Again" was attached to this review.

Feb 21,2025Figure sux. I had a HELOC that was paid off entirely and dormant for 1.5 years that i now want to be clear of. First, I have to phone them and go through hoops to close account, even though they brag online how you can get approved in minutes, and funded a couple of days. I now need them off my title and to reconvey, which cost me an almost $100 fee and will take months to accomplish. No expedited service is available, and fat chance getting management to take your call or return it. Huge fail, totally slimy. Follow up, 2/30. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, Figure steps up to amaze yet again. They had the audacity to refuse to honor the signed payoff demand from my Title company, and then even refused to even speak to my title officer; WTF? I've now spent hours on the phone with know-nothing "Specialists"who promise me return phone calls from supervisors, and here I am 2 hours after promised callback time, and this clown i finally got hold of doesn't even know if / when "Richard" is on duty. One person will directly contradict what another said just days prior. 48 hours ago I was to receive payoff demand directly within 10 minutes of our phone conversation. Nothinf. Today, I'm told they will not be sending it at all.
