The purchase, online experience and staff were all 5 stars, as was the customer service. Only given it 4 because the bike had a couple of scratches on the frame.
I cannot praise the staff and manager Mark in the Harrow Road branch enough. Nothing is too much trouble we bought two new tyres 10 days ago only to get them home and find there was not enough clearance in the forks for the wheels to fit (our fault as we didn't take the frame with us). We returned 7 days later, Saturday, at our first available opportunity to find the correct tyres had to be ordered and would be in today, Tuesday. We left the bike at the store and today were able to collect one bike with two tyres fitted and ready to go, I now have one very happy husband 😁 Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff I would recommend this store to anyone 😁
I ordered a pair of alloy guards from fudges but the accidentally sent me two rears and no front. They told me to post them back and they would refund me the postage and and send me a new set out. When I got to the post office I was told the postage would be £11.99, I rang fudges to make sure this was fine and I was told yes. As I paid by paypal I raised an issue with them in case anything went wrong and so I could log the return. They then said they will only give me £5 back for postage (even though I was charged £8 when I placed the order) and will not send the mudguards until I close the paypal close the paypal case. I rang up and asked to speak to the manager and was told I would be called back. This hasn't happened but they have refunded my return postage. I can only assume my mudguards are in the post. I understand mistakes happen and it should have been easy to sort out. Never heard one sorry. EDIT: To reply to your response, I did pay but it was in holding by paypal as I had to make a return due to you mistake. I was the one out of pocket for two weeks. You said you would send them until I told you I wouldn't lift the paypal hold as it was my only protection, then I was informed you have no stock.

This is the second bike I've bought from Fudges - the first (a few years ago) went brilliantly but this second one arrived cosmetically damaged.
Good price and excellent service
Had to chase the order as the email response to my web order was unclear. Item took a while to arrive as it was despatched later than I'd hoped given I paid for Express Delivery. Price was very high too but I could not find UK stock anywhere else for this particular model / frame size. When product arrived it had been well assembled and checked so fair play on that front but the packaging was damaged, thankfully without consequences to the contents. Got the same bike in a different frame size for £160 less from another dealer.
Delivery of my bike parts was swift and easy. Price for the parts was good. Cost of delivery options to the continent (Netherlands) were okay for the quick service provided (just a few days), but I would have liked to see a cheaper, somewhat slower option too. Also, somehow the (default) budget delivery option was more expensive than the standard one. But the bottom line is: Fudges Cycles had parts that others couldn't easily provide and they easily did. Thanks for that!

After some minor confusion , both bikes , one a Montague Paratrooper and the second a Paratrooper Express arrived quickly and well packed , ready to use. The best thing was that seemingly , only Fudges could obtain supply of these products when no one else in the UK could! ( They are the only heavy duty folding mountain bikes that seem to be made anywhere... )

I found fudge cycles to be professional and very helpful however my issue is with the courier service used. When the item did not arrive on the expected day I logged on to the tracking service. This gave me a 'Held in depot' 'Address problem - insufficient address'. The address given is the same for all post that arrives at this address by post. On phoning GLS Ireland and holding for quite some time I was informed that they needed a phone number all of which was provided when the online purchase was made. Now I'm well aware that when links are added to lines of communication errors can occur but what has annoyed me in this instance is that if you put the address into google maps it pinpoints it precisely. Surely a courier company is aware of this tool? Given that this issues arose yesterday was was I not informed by mail? Again Fudge were great Parcel Force / GLS have disappointed.
