I have got an enforcement order for land I bought from this company. It's near Spean Bridge, Scotland. The advert said I could build a holiday chalet However on reflection the advert said 'rare opportunity' and on further investigation since I realise there are 21 other plots for sale in the same area! The problem appears to be that it is on a scientific interest area and the plot should never have been dug in the first place because this has caused damage. But I have been threatened with a huge fine and have to put it right now as I can't see any point in appealing because I can see there is a problem here. I didn't do the damage but I have to pay because I now own it. That seems very unfair. I wish I'd contacted the Council before bidding, lesson learnt. So disappointed that the advert was so misleading which has caused me to stupidly lose my life savings
Just spoke to them on the phone. Very rude and had no idea what the were selling.
These auctioneers are crooks, nothing matters to them than money We recently bought a flat that’s totally not the one for sale. They advertised next door property as the one for sale while it wasn’t, and viewing wasn’t available coz it was deemed as unsafe to enter to, but the actual flat that’s was for sale was not the one on the picture Pure crooks and should be investigated
They are scammers and advertise misleading information. I lost £17000 for a property they listed as free-hold whereas property was lease-hold and they did not possess the property and are unable to complete the sale even after 6 months. People are rude and I have to involve property ombudsman. Still waiting for refund of my lost money. Will go behind them as much as possible!
Useless company. Staff are so rude and unhelpful. Look at selling or buying your properties through a different company. Shocking
Future SELL property, no messing about.
Wouldn’t normally write a review however after looking here I thought I would . Read the auction terms and conditions before doing anything as this is key . !! I purchased at auction , paid my deposit then got nothing other than excuses . After a month my solicitor checked the land register, the property had been sold to someone else whilst I waited for the contract, which was never going to appear despite repeatedly contacting them , Obviously they had 2 buyers on the go !! I’m sure this happens a lot , Time wasters and terrible communication skills what a joke that they think this is ok to treat Auction purchasers this way with no explanation. So if u paid ur deposit and waiting then think again they’re probably trying to tie the sale up at the other end!!
The property was a health hazard and needed the same cost as the asking price on repairs. Description was completely inaccurate. That's why it's an auction "only a fool will buy any of these" Nothing like mentioning the addicts in the building, the blaring night club next door, the no parking anywhere near, the lead pipes which are poisoning residents, flooding everything when it rains, no insulation above the ceilings, vermin in the attic, uninhabitable, no post due to no entry system for postman, close being used for addicts jagging and neighbouring pub goers urinating in close, the building needs demolished. Buying this place will ruin your life! Ka14ah.
My family have been scamed by the seller and this Auction company. They are selling SSSi Land which is worthless for lots of money. This company allows this seller to CON people. the Highland Council have placed a court restriction on Land in Achnabobane Spean Bridge PH34 4EX, you cant Place anything on the Land yet this CON company and seller are saying in there advert its ideal for caravan Glamping etc. Trading standards are involved including a member of the Government MP be so careful they hide the truth from you lots of us have been conned. if in Doubt contact the Highland council they will give you the truth
Could not trust these people as they use photographs taken from a different property.
Sandy's own words: I had trouble with one of my tenants, who eventually set fire to her flat and ended up in Levendale Hospital. I decided, having renovated the flat in question at a significant cost, to sell both of them as, at nearly 80, I was finding dealing with the problems too stressful. I had hoped to sell them for at least £100K each, as Home Reports had valued them at £141,000 and £136,000. My initial conversations and e-mails with Stephen gave me the impression that this was possible, as he suggested starting prices of £112,000 and £108,800 (20% below the Home Report Value). The first-floor flat was initially sold to Mr. Gallagher for £109,000. A price, which I accepted. I was therefore very disappointed to be told that he had backed out and ended up receiving only 53% and 55% of the Home Report Valuation. If future property auctions are so out of line with market values, one has to wonder about their competence, either that or the conduct of their auctions.
I enquired about 1 property and since have received email after email every time someone in their offices feels like being annoying. I had to search to find an email address for them as the mails they send are from a no reply address. This done I informed them the unsubscribe option is not working and would they please unsubscribe me. Obviously my request has been ignored, and today for the 5th time I tried to use it. Since my review above I have received 2 further mails from Future Properties 2.55pm and 6.56 I have tried yet again to unsubscribe and sent a further mail to infoatfuturepropertyauctions.co.uk asking them to unsubscribe me. Also received a mail from Trustpilot saying Future Property's required more information so returned my email address.
Received email from Future Property Auctions asking for a 5 ⭐ review, despite not using there service. And then it said they give Amazon vouchers to loyal customers 🤔 all sounds a bit shady to me. Are you trying to buy reviews? If your business has to do this it's not the type of company I could recommend, sorry.
Only reason for 1 star is thats the lowest you can give. My husband and I bought a flat down near ayr. We asked to see the flat before bidding but we were declined. I should have never have bought the flat because of this. There was a massive hole in the roof and the ceiling in the spare room has come in. They must have known about this before selling it. There was also a hole at the front door. Again they must have known about this. I guess that's why they never showed the whole middle room. They never gave us a home report till our lawyers asked for it. They said that if they had seen home report before we bought it they would have advised us to stay clear of it. I thought that it was illegal for home report not to be given before a sale. Yes it's been over 2 years since we bought it but that's not the point. The point is these people need shut down. I had reasons for buying the flat and if they had been upfront with us we would never have bought it. I can't put the date to when I bought the flat. Bought it 2.5 year ago. When we offered £23.000 we were told no the prior owner wanted £27.500 for it. You would have thought with the flat being on sale for many months the prior owner would have been what was offered. Still no reply from this company. It turns out that there were problems with the roof 3 year ago which these cowboys didn't release in the 1st place. No wonder they didn't let us see the flat to start with. The old owner also ran away with money that a company had given them to fix the roof. Future auctions is a shower of cowboys. And before you mention the words due diligence if you had let me see the flat in the 1st place I wouldn't have bought it. Please answer my review asap. And it has turned out that who ever they sold the flat for stole £3000 from someone. This company must have known all this
Had a hip replacement live in nth Ireland so wasn’t able to view flat spoke to one member of staff I asked if he had seen flat and if he could tell me how much I might need to spend on flat , he said he didn’t visit flat because a tennent was living it I put in a bid as I thought the flat looked nice the pictures were shown of the flat all the flat looked good it was said that there was a resident tennent there and had been there for years they said it was a great investment with immediate rental money I was hurried into paying deposit I said I could pay by card but that was not accepted I kept getting impatient requests for deposit to be paid I paid deposit my daughter who lives in Scotland along with her husband decided to view the flat they didn’t want me to part with anymore money till they viewed the flat , they did view and was shown around by the tennent who said he was staying with a neighbour because of the condition of flat , the flat needed new roof and windows there was water coming in to flat There was no heating dampness all over flat windows were rotten and coming apart the shower was Broken the whole flat was in a terrible state I told future auctions of my findings of condition of flat and told them this flat was misrepresented I asked for my deposit back they are refusing to do this I’ve told them I’m age 77 and can’t afford to loose this money but they don’t care I’m now depressed about what has happened and my husband is angry at me for getting involved withought telling him it’s a horrible situation
Terrible website you put in glasgow and you get property all over UK, same property reapted over many times on site ,would avoid this company something not right
Rude and pressure sales from the Glasgow office to agree on an auction sale without the legal documents required and telling you they are not required. I am also convinced they are doing illegal ghost bids. I would NEVER consider an auction that is offered with this company as there is too much risk. This company should be barred from auctions.
Property bought pre auction in 2011. Transaction completed easily, with great communication during the process. The property has been rented by the same tenant for 13 years, suggesting it was a good purchase. Catalogue received by email on a regular basis keeping me abreast of latest available properties.
Excellent Service
