I purchased a Montichriste Plantation. It is very comfortable, fits perfectly and receives compliments every time I wear it. Contact with the company was pleasant and informative. I will order another hat in the near future.

Great Panama shipped from Ecuador within the time frame promised. Patience will be rewarded and it is an international shipment so give at least a week or more. Spacers provided are helpful and not a sign of inaccurate sizing but the reality of hats fitting different people differently in terms of comfort.

Low quality hats, the material has no substance,very thin and flimsy. Their sizing chart isn’t even close, it says a size 58 = medium but more like a large so they send along two 3/8” spacers to insert in the hat to make it fit. That would be equivalent to putting tissue paper in your shoe to make them fit. They ship the hat in a not so sturdy cardboard box so the hats are crushed and looking at other reviews it happens more than once. On their return policy it states they are not responsible for damaged items that happen in shipment in returns, so I assume they are saying not to use the box they used. Gamboa as you can tell from this review is not a customer first operation. When ever ordering on line be a smart shopper and reads the customer’s reviews before purchasing. The hand made claim I would have to seriously question.

I ordered a poncho over two weeks ago, it shows as delivered but it has not been. Multiple emails later and the issue has not been resolved. I am out of pocket and have no poncho, which was for my wife's birthday. It does not appear this company wants to sort out this issue, they just want me to go away - DO NOT USE if anything goes wrong you will be out of pocket and treated awfully.

No admiten devoluciones. No compréis aquí. Las fotografías son engañosas. La calidad y el aspecto real difieren con lo mostrado. Comprad en tiendas físicas o en las que admitan devolución del producto.

Muy mal, he hecho el pedido de un sombrero Panamá que me va grande, pues yo siempre he gastado la 60, y no me hacen la devolución, dicen que si me cambian la talla.... pero lo mejor de todo, me mandan un correo que dice que les tengo que mandar yo el sombrero a Estados Unidos, y lo he comprado desde España por un importe con portes incluido de 63€ y solo el envío a USA son 75€. UNA ESTAFA, pues no me dan otra alternativa de devolución, y debo pagar yo encima los costes.

Zunächst einen Monat lang keinerlei Rückmeldung trotz sofortiger Bezahlung per Paypal und Nachfragen per Mail. Dann Käuferschutz beantragt. Nach einer Woche Nachricht von Paypal (nicht vom Verkäufer) , die Hüte seien unterwegs. Nach weiteren eineinhalb Wochen ein Paket mit zwei total verschrumpelten Exemplaren bekommen. ( zusätzliche Zollgebühren: 11.10€) Insgesamt 188€ für Biomüll bezahlt… Service nicht vorhanden, Lieferung und Kontakt katastrophal, Verpackung Katastrophe… Niemals wieder!

I offered to send back the hat I am dissatisfied with and pay the difference to get what I want. Refused. I notified them on the tenth day that I did not like the hat and wanted to return same and upgrade it, it was a gift for Father's Day, and told me all transactions have to be completed within a ten-day period. This company has no credibility, and if you do business with them I believe you will be disappointed. Lastly, we had to wait two to four days on a response from them and got one after sending them a second request. Finally, they answer. I won't call them SHADY.

I have ordered a Panama hat (ORDER #4403) last Tuesday. Website mentioned 3 - 5 days delivery through DHL. Looking at the FAQ delivery time to the UK appeared to be 3 - 8 days. Since then I have heard nothing from the company and clearly the hat hasn't been shipped. This is all extremely disappointing. If I don't hear back from you in the next couple of days I will raise a dispute with PayPal. If the hat is meant to be shipped, I wouldn't be prepared to pay for shipping. Alternatively, please cancel my order and refund me the whole amount.

Update: Good quality product, service could be better. The hat that I ordered is very good quality. Unfortunately, it was only posted after I sent a number of emails to the seller and published a negative review on Trustpilot.

Nach 3 Wochen Bestelldatum (05.06.) ist der Borsalino angekommen, nachdem mehrfach auf den späten Versand hingewiesen wurde. Die Qualität ist als gut zu bezeichnen, allerdings kommen Import- und Zollgebühren von ca. 12€ hinzu. Diese kann man beim UPS-Fahrer bezahlen.

Todo perfecto. El sombrero Panamá llegó una semana antes de la fecha prevista, además de venir muy bien protegido en el embalaje para su transporte Muy satisfecho con la atención postventa contestando muy rápido a los dos correos que les mandé y recibiendo toda la información solicitada. Volveré a comprar en Gamboa.

Two Panama Hats from last order was received in damaged condition. They were packed folded and very poorly. In addition, the shipment did not include three hat bands that were ordered. I followed up with an email about the damaged hats and missing hat bands. It’s been 3 weeks and the hat bands have not arrived as per their response. They did not offer any explanation why the hats were folded in shipping that resulted in damaged hats. The level of customer service is deplorable and frankly unacceptable. I would rate them less than a star but there’s no provision for that rating.
