Nov 09,2017My original order of raised beds was missing a component (weed suppressant membrane), and one of the supplied timber capping pieces was rotten. Although it took 4 further attempts to re-deliver the missing membrane and the replacement capping before they finally arrived. which was very annoying, the completed raised beds are good quality and look great. One small further point, the capping overhangs the sides of the raised beds, although it is exactly the same size as the supplied sleepers. Therefore they are not long enough to meet at the ends if cut at 45 degrees (picture frame style). It's also rather misleading to state that the beds can be quickly assembled, as the capping pieces all needed to be mitre sawn (which for 4 raised bed kits took me half a day). Some instructions for assembly wouldn't go amiss either. If confident with a little woodworking however, the raised bed kits are a worthwhile project.

Jun 07,2017I never did use Gardoo in the end. Their prices for sleepers were very competitive (too competitive?), but at the end of the ordering process I was quoted a price for delivery of over *£400*. Say what?

Jun 06,2017Good product but delivery is shambolic. Specifically bought on Thursday for next day delivery Friday and not cheap at c. £85 delivery. Stayed in all day on Friday to assist with delivery according to Gardoo's T&Cs. Had set aside weekend to make raised beds. Sleepers didn't arrive. No contact from Gardoo or the haulier. Called this morning (Monday). Spoke to Alicia and was promised a call back within 5-10 mins. No call back. Sleepers then arrived mid afternoon. On a pallet but put on a truck with no forklift and too wide to go off the back on the tailgate loader so had to come off one by one. Delivery driver from third party haulier was very helpful and friendly but you don't need to be Einstein to realise that a forklift equipped truck is a pre-requisite given the sleepers have been palletised anyway. This would reduce delivery time from 20 mins to 5 mins and enable a reduction in the delivery charge. One sleeper damaged which I can probably hide at the back of a bed but not ideal. Headline price seems cheap but by the time you've factored in delivery charge and service levels there's not much in it compared to other suppliers like Travis Perkins and Buildbase.

Jun 01,2017Very helpful on telephone prior to ordering online. Great quality sleepers and very well priced. I don't know where the previous review got his goods and delivery from, its absolute untrue. Delivery driver from pallet line rang me just before he arrived. I didn't need to lift a finger, he took the pallet off the lorry and wheeled it up my driveway. Very smooth transaction.

May 20,2017Delivery is poor Sleepers are of good quality and cheap but the delivery using their partner SIMARCO is poor. It is not delivery really at all (and definitely not kerbside) as vehicles they use do not have cranes, tailgates or trolleys. Buyers are expected to climb onto the vehicles and unload them themselves. The drivers refuse to take part (health and safety). I paid for morning delivery, but it failed to turn up on the Friday when I had guys available. It was scheduled for a Saturday delivery, just me available, but arrived in a high sided lorry which was impossible for me to unload by myself. I was expected to climb onto the lorry (c.5ft) and jump down with each sleeper or throw them of the lorry. So much for my health and safety. I had to send it away. Gardoo staff on the phone are nice, but don't, I feel have any understanding of how their product is delivered.

Mar 13,2017I purchased 2 separate orders of sleepers from Gardoo and was extremely pleased with the product and the overall service they provided. The sleepers are fantastic quality and have made a superb addition to my garden. The service I received on both occasions from the delivery company/driver (Palletways) was brilliant and couldn't have been more helpful with unloading the 50+ sleepers order! Highly recommend Gardoo and especially the efficient service received from Lahra in the office.

Feb 18,2017I ordered 17 sleepers for phase one of my project and unfortunately only 16 were delivered. The response from Gardoo was excellent and the additional sleeper turned up a day or so later. When something goes wrong, how a company reacts to resolve the issue tells you a lot about how well the company is organised and how much they value your custom. I was so impressed, that Gardoo was the only place for me to go for my next purchase of 7 more sleepers for phase two. Thank you Gardoo - I am sure I will be back - as there is a phase three.
